JOYCE ACCUSED WITH TEARS, NOT FACTS
Barnaby Joyce is the latest victim of a new kind of accusation - where a man is accused of sexual harassment by someone whose evidence is just her feelings, and not a single detail of what allegedly happened. This can't be right. My editorial from The Bolt Report.
There are no bounds to Andrew Bolt's hypocrisy and his efforts at being a clone
In Pakistan and Afghanistan if a woman accuses a male of rape or sexual misconduct without the presence of a male witness to corroborate her story she could be counter-charged for falsely accusing an innocent man. She could even be charged with adultery and stoned to death. Whether this is part of Islam or simply the tribal cultures of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia is debatable but failing that Bolt seems to be leaning in the same direction here when saying that a woman, a respected member of the National Party and local community shouldn't be believed because there was no suitable witness then Bolt and the National Party are very close to acting the way Bolt has deemed unjust previously in some Muslim countries. It seems as if there were a woman witness well that too would be questioned as sisters are really just doing it for themselves.
Bolt has the misogynistic morals of a medieval Imam or Catholic priest in the 19th Century Ireland. It seems women can't be trusted to be objective judges of these circumstances because they could be menstruating, hysterical or just on heat and really in need of a cold shower at the time. Here's Bolt not only doing what he's always criticised of others of but going further and declaring it a case of Reverse Sexism.
No Bolt, times have changed women throughout history weren't raped by men. It's why they were forced to wear chastity belts because they couldn't be trusted. Why they were chaperoned not because the morals of men were in doubt. It was so easy for powerful men to slut shame them as Bolt is doing here and Murdoch media, Fox News has been doing it in the USA for the honourable Donald Trump. Neither Joyce nor Trump's histories are to be taken into account.
Bolt has revealed himself for who he is. He's not the defendant of the Honourable Barnaby Joyce Deputy PM but a prosecutor of a woman and he's smearing her just as Fox News is smearing the reputations of women in America. It has become the formulaic practice of bullies having the backs protected by PR organizations like Sky and Fox News.
Andrew Bolt is so unoriginal he hasn't ever stopped putting his foot in his mouth and eating his own shoe leather. Women who accuse men of sexual assault can't be trusted even if they were Mother Theresa particularly when they accuse such sober and upstanding men as Barnaby Joyce MP who in Bolt's world are always real victims in situations like this. One could argue Bolt is doing in Australia what News Corp is doing in America for Trump's nominee to SCOTUS also accused of rape while in High School. Bolt's applying nothing new here when smearing the accuser and attempting to make the accused the victim
. Joyce admits a record of failings exist in all areas of his life and Bolt excuses him of them strange he doesn't ever do the same for others, does he?
Let's face it Murdoch was caught out with the fake photo shoot at the Alfalfa Club in Atlanta in an effort to boost Tony Abbott's stocks in his Daily Telegraph and they were both caught out in that lie too. Why was the American Murdoch even in Australia at the time, to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the IPA. To suggest the IPA, Murdoch and News Corp are arms-length innocents in the overthrow of Turnbull is spitting in the Australian electorates face. (ODT)
Mr Turnbull challenged Mr Murdoch over the coverage of his government in News Corp newspapers and its Sky News television channel, arguing the media company was intensifying the leadership turmoil.
Fairfax Media has been told Mr Murdoch played down his part in fuelling the leadership speculation, saying it was primarily a matter for his son Lachlan, who is his co-chairman and a stronger presence in the company’s Australian operations.

Andrew Bolt doesn't deliver a post that can be responded to but only to a PAYWALL
Media watch spent time showing that "apart" from Bolt Climate change facts are MIA at News Corp. Bolt calls it a religion but fails to mention that some 63% of Australians believe in it and that 97% of scientists in the field do too. Bolt's use of statistics is an attempt to convince us that Australia isn't having a drought at all. What he doesn't mention News Corp digital totally disagrees with him and is the exception in the News Corp stable Bolt doesn't mention that. Media Watch singled out Andrew Bolt as the only News Corp commentator ready to try to deny the flood of agreement that Climate Change is real. Media made no effort to prove Bolt anything that they left up to his ever so small nightly audience.

Bolt somehow seems to be suggesting that no obligations come with the trips. That when somebody says they won't be running at the next election it's tools down. What we see here is the workings of Andrew Bolt's mind that it's money for nothing and if he said he was retiring next year he could just stop working and collect his wages. Nobody would employ Bolt, would they? He does very little but plays whack-a-mole, reverse the argument, and reframe what is being done in the USA here. Oh, yes and read an autocue.
GetUp's Liberal mate
What good are the Liberals when Michael Photios legitimises one of its biggest enemies?: "The chairman of GetUp... has been hosted by the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to teach it how the left-wing activist group achieves 'campaign cut-through'... Phil Ireland... appeared on a panel alongside Liberal powerbroker Michael Photios."
According to John Howard, the Liberal Party is a broad and diverse Church However not according to Andrew Bolt who demands it to be a collective of single-minded thought and that makes Josh Frydenberg suspect as he has a close relationship with Labor MP Ed Husic. How often have we heard Bolt call moderates in the Liberal Party Left-Wing and not true Liberals? John Howard must be seen as a traitor too then, after all Hewson, and Fraser were and they all supported diversity whereas Abbott and Bolt seem terrified of it. Basically, Bolt effectively reduces the true Liberal Party to a minority group of collective thinkers who have their backs firmly up against a wall accusing the rest of Australia as being un-Australian and they should really have nothing to do with them.
Bolt's all for persuasion as long as it's a one-way street, if not he's crying foul like a child.
