 "Fair and Balanced" is was^[1]the slogan of Fox "Faux" News. It meant that their overall quality is at best fair and that their "news" is balanced with a strong dose of commentary, to make sure the viewer gets the talking points clearly. In reality, Fox News is about as "balanced" as Conservapedia is "trustworthy".
This coming from the mouth of Andrew Bolt who works for the billionaire Rupert Murdoch who copyrighted the slogan "fair and balance" seems more than throwing rocks at people in glass houses.
Particularly when business, finance and even the coal-fired power companies have resigned themselves to the fact that the days of coal are numbered and are demanding the government support a realistic transition to renewables to encourage cheaper power prices. That's something they refuse because supporting regression is far better.
The UK businessman who saved Whyalla Steel is going it alone but publicizing and shaming Australia Internationally it seems just as Turnbull the truthsayer is. 

AND NOT ONE JOURNALIST CRIED: "THAT'S NUTS."

Column Journalism in this country is utterly debased when top political reporters asked not a single sceptical question when a warmist speaker this week told them this: "If we continue to burn coal and gas for decades to come, … we will not have a habitable planet and hundreds of millions of people will die.” Laughable. One day Science is just another religious cult like any other. Today Bolt swings back to being a supporter of Science why?  Simply because all other media is part of the  "fake news" cult. They are  "outliers" of journalism because they don't at every moment list the science that supports their "fake news" on warming and he demands they do. Bolt's the flat-earther who in the 2000s still demands journalists list the science that proves it's not flat.
The gates shut and the horse has bolted and Andrew Bolt just refuses to accept that fact and like a flat-earther expects the 6000 peer-reviewed papers researched by the IPCC and the 97% consensus that goes with them be repeated ad-nauseum. each time the media speaks on the subject. Whose the outlier, the dork, the numbnut that wears his super man's underwear over his suit pants every day and not just Halloween? 

NICE IDEA, BUT $500 MILLION?

That is a hell of a lot of money: "The Australian War Memorial will receive an almost $500 million ­upgrade to better tell the stories of Australian servicemen and women from the past 30 years, ­including a new underground entran­ce and an 83 per cent expansion to its total exhibition area." Sounds like the upgrade will cost more than the building.

Of all the choices Scott Morrison could take, sinking the boot into Malcolm Turnbull was not the wisest.
