Victorians voted against scaremongering and division. They voted against the poisonous and negative politics of scrappers like Tony Abbott whose tactics were adopted by Matthew Guy and mirrored by the Murdoch Media the Liberal conservative echo chamber. Did anybody notice the crowd Dan Andrews addressed at the Village Green Hotel? It was Multicultural a truly rainbow crowd of colour. There were Africans, Sikhs, Muslims Asians, Christians Indians and whites all smiling in their hundreds with their hands in the air. That's something that couldn't be said of the meagre one hundred whites in Guy's Club in Bulleen. Today we woke up yet again to Australia's most progressive state, most progressive City with the most progressive leadership where Australians, immigrants and asylum seekers of all colours and creeds want to and can live. Whose citizens said clearly and loudly nope nope nope to the conservative racist, ethnocentric, white, nationalist hatred filled whinging of the negative western cultured assimilationist mindset supported by Murdoch's News Corp, the IPA, and the ultra-conservative driven mindset of Liberal Party as represented by the scrapper Matthew Guy who modelled himself on Tony Abbott.
How many times and years can Peta Credlin, Paul Murray and Andrew Bolt have egg on their face and still call themselves commentators and not simply mug PR agents and Lobbyists trying to con Australians for a dollar? (ODT)

Bolt said Mr Guy was a "hopeless campaigner" and in a message to federal Liberals who are preparing next year's campaign strategy, said the party could not rely on "scaring people" to win votes.
"You cannot rely simply on scaring people," he said. "You've got to look serious and have serious answers and I don't think the voters ever thought the Liberals had that.
"There is no one author of this defeat, it is too big to say that, but the [federal] leadership is absolutely one of them."

Victoria's election was a disaster for the Liberals that has federal implications: "Labor looks set to win at least 60 of 88 seats... The win is the biggest for Labor since Steve Bracks won 62 seats in 2002 against Robert Doyle." The Liberals did win again after Doyle's loss, but repeating that will take some doing unless the economy tanks.

Andrew Bolt simply moves on taking no blame for the trashing the Liberal's got for their campaign of scaremongering and division fully assisted by Andrew Bolt himself. No his caravan of crap will move on but won't change or take the blame for any of it. The means of ridding ourselves of this permanent scar on our media landscape can only be achieved when News Corp's business model recognizes Bolt's of no PR value to their clients. Surely a drubbing like the Liberals took in this election his failure to raise Abbott from the grave time and time again is some sort of message. Behaviourist theories have been about well before China's 1949 revolution. They were a core of Colonial theory and practice and of Catholic Conversion therapies as a means of accumulating credits to heaven. It was the psychology practised in extreme form on Australian Indigenous peoples when Welfare policies removed children in order to save them from their families and culture. Bolt's constant denial that there was no Stolen Generation. Australia always has a way to make you behave and Bolt was a foremost advocate for the reward and punishment application of Skinner's behaviourist theories of child raising. Safe schools, Open Universities, are all a danger to Bolt's strict regimen of training programs and the false belief that our class based free market system produces a true meritocracy.

China created a revolution that has freed 1.3 billion people from poverty. That took an amazing systemic approach to social engineering. It's seen that increasing freedom and wealth can just as easily unravel the material gains achieved and resist sharing the same opportunity. Social Democratic Countries of Scandinavia have shown the benefits individuals have gained when their material needs are guaranteed by the state. Why can't Bolt accept that because it also enables a true meritocracy to develop which if that were the case here in Australia might endanger the loss of privilege handed to his children by who rather than what you know? Privilege and opportunity only some Australians have today not all.

 Labour has won the elections over and Bolt's immediately into Sinophobia scaring the nation of the dastardly devious Chinese that Pauline Hanson said have already invaded Australia why? Dan Andrews has signed in principle agreements with China that the Federal government wants to deny for what? Political scaremongering and Sinophobia as too for political advantage. Nothing has changed Liberals are Liberals the BS of greater National Security required to keep us safe will be repeated and Bolt will be paid to sell it only to see the Liberals crash in 2019 and crash even harder if the model themselves on Abbott's conservatives.

IT WASN'T THE RIGHT THAT COST THE LIBERALS VICTORIA

The Liberal Left claims the Victorian defeat shows the Right has hurt the party, not just by sacking Malcolm Turnbull: "Liberal MP Mary Wooldridge said a 'takeover' of the party's Victorian branches by ultra-conservative members needed to be corrected if it was to become competitive." Yet Matthew Guy's Liberals were as wobbly Left as Turnbull's.
