Victorians voted against scaremongering and division. Bolt said Mr Guy was a "hopeless campaigner" and in a message to federal Liberals who are preparing next year's campaign strategy, said the party could not rely on "scaring people" to win votes.
"You cannot rely simply on scaring people," he said. "You've got to look serious and have serious answers and I don't think the voters ever thought the Liberals had that.

Behaviourist theories have been about well before China's 1949 revolution. It's seen that increasing freedom and wealth can just as easily unravel the material gains achieved and resist sharing the same opportunity. Social Democratic Countries of Scandinavia have shown the benefits individuals have gained when their material needs are guaranteed by the state. Why can't Bolt accept that because it also enables a true meritocracy to develop which if that were the case here in Australia might endanger the loss of privilege handed to his children by who rather than what you know? Privilege and opportunity only some Australians have today not all.

 Labour has won the elections over and Bolt's immediately into Sinophobia scaring the nation of the dastardly devious Chinese that Pauline Hanson said have already invaded Australia why? Dan Andrews has signed in principle agreements with China that the Federal government wants to deny for what? Political scaremongering and Sinophobia as too for political advantage. Nothing has changed Liberals are Liberals the BS of greater National Security required to keep us safe will be repeated and Bolt will be paid to sell it only to see the Liberals crash in 2019 and crash even harder if the model themselves on Abbott's conservatives.

 Bolt's an idiot with News Corp's backing. he is as much as those that deny smoking causes lung cancer because the science simply because science doesn't inform us just how many smokers there are that don't contract the disease. The fact that not all smokers do is sufficient to deny cause as they are exceptions to the proffered prediction. They at least these deniers don't go about calling science a religion and believe that's enough. Despite all that denial people quit and we have seen a dramatic improvement in a reduced death rate.

Now isn't that a statement based on substance as solid as candy floss. All Bolt has as evidence is faith in his denials, 3% of scientists who have no peer-reviewed published evidence to the contrary and some profitable finance from a reactionary mining industry lobby heavily dependant on the future of the horse and cart division of the global energy industry of fossil fuel. Meanwhile, the rest of the world whether Climate Change exists or not is past the tipping point and is transitioning to renewable energy. Financial investment and business sectors can't be stopped by the regressive lobby represented by media goons like Bolt or by politicians like Trump and Abbott because the bull has trashed their china shop and bolted out the front door.
Politics, money, technology, jobs and a public belief in clean and renewable energy is a force for the future and like personal computers and mobile phones will democratise power and put it into the hands of the people and away from the conglomerate resellers. In the meantime, we will be cleaning the planet and emission targets will be the measurement of local and global success or failure of that very proposal that Bolt says Shorten can't afford. 
That proposal to clean the planet is simply a must and not a waste of time because dirty air is a catastrophe as is global warming. Just because Bolt has experienced the weather and poor predictions simply show science isn't perfect. It's a continuous and sceptical method more than the hocus pocus of faith-based religion.
Apparently the last 200 years and the successes science have achieved is really minimal to Bolt its failures which have gone on unreported that are central to the warming deniers. Just as tobacco researchers haven't reported those numbers that haven't contracted cancer and falsely damaged an industry. Bolt's left arguing a conspiracy, a hoax which with all the evidence to date is actually his own or at least his masters who are paying to spread the news and News Corp happily profits.  
Bolt fails to mention that Shorten not only has the backing of his party, global climate science, experts of all kinds, the electorate but also increasingly a large number of miners and fossil fuel producers who demand policies beyond even Shorten's plan and they are calling for, yes you guessed it, a price on carbon. That's how opaque regressive and reactionary Bolt Abbott and the IPA are.

The Morrison Government must discredit Malcolm Turnbull on global warming. Consider: Turnbull wants to destroy the Liberals. Labor  yesterday backed his National Energy Guarantee, junked by the Liberals. In two weeks Turnbull will give a speech on "clean energy". He'll smash the Liberals, who must get in first. Why not scrap his dud Snowy scheme?

So Dutton hasn't offered Bibi asylum Bolt isn't the global hero he makes out he is and we know Dutton's promises can take the status of empty and are made just for publicity. Bolt practices the same. He claims centre stage whether Bibi is made an offer or not if she isn't he lets us know I did it and if an offer is made he will insist I, I, I did it the sign of a true egotist awarding himself.
