 Anne Summers, after all, was the journalist that corrected Andrew Bolt's Walter Mittyesque, Baron Von Munchausen tall tale self- biography where Bolt once described himself as a "minder to a belly dancer", single, never engaged or being kept when unemployed by his then fiance. Bolt's fantasy bubble was popped by Summers and when confronted by the truth he crumpled like a cheap suit and publicly apologised.
It seems Anne Summers will never be forgotten and Bolt will hound her with the help of others whenever to the grave.

She was also deeply offended that Bolt had used her to add some spice to his public image when she had supported him through the 1980 journalists’ strike and his mother’s protracted terminal illness. “Whilst Andrew might have a high IQ, his EQ [emotional intelligence] is obviously underdeveloped, he appears to be blind to the impact that his actions have on others and then takes it personally when they respond.
