Coal, Agriculture, Ports, Universities, and trade have made China our biggest trading partner and Europhile Bolt has just recently been pushed to turn against the Chinese and call them our enemy. China has bought and invested in far more of Australia than it has the PNG which according to Bolt has been a 'bad' thing. PNG according to Bolt has sold its soul and turned it's back on the country which turned it's back on them because we were too busy kowtowing to China ourselves. Without China, there wouldn't have been the Howard boom or Tony Abbott.
Tony Abbott was elected and dubbed the Pivot of the Pacific by the US when he forced the abandonment of Radio Australia which was the heartbeat in the Pacific making way for the Chinese. The Pivot or best said Pillock turned his eyes to be the Pivot of the Middle East and Europe. Abbott took us to war in the Middle East against an enemy we are still trying to find and against Putin who he was going to shirtfront like he did Joe Hockey instead. Yes, Abbott was keen to become a member of NATO honorary maybe but nevertheless an advisor to. He spent a lot of effort increasing the number of flags and uniforms he was then seen with. In the meantime, Chinese and Russian ships floated about the Pacific at will.
So Bolt's accusations and debate don't really seem to have any legs when it comes to asking who ignored the Chinese back then and the obvious consequences that have occurred since then the conservatives.
The Japanese it seems because of agreements struck post-WW2 doesn't really have a defence force to speak of so it really doesn't look like a catch up does it.

Forget that he's stopped that when it became too ridiculous to continue with so he found the easier path just call scientific method and research just another religion. Finally, Bolt's turning to weather reports to counter Climate Science really is believing that this is the moment he will be listened to. I'm afraid the planet hasn't been cooling. Wasn't it 2 months ago Bolt told the farmers of NSW and Qld to shut up and stop exaggerating that they weren't in drought Australia was in fact in flood. He shut up when the LNP went to their assistance, didn't he? That it seems wasn't good for News Corp's business.

This is a PAYWALL the banner phishing for subscriptions in the Church of News Corp. It basically an exercise in passing the plate. No other media outlets have bothered to take it up. The persecution of Christians and Christian victimhood Bolt hopes will draw enough suckers into parting with their money. He certainly wouldn't be doing the same if the photographer had been Muslim, Buddhist or Hindu. Is Bolt suggesting the West Australian Equal Opportunity Commission aren't Christian? Either way Bolt's primary concern isn't the photographer. However, he believes in the right to discriminate and laws that don't respect that right are discriminatory. That's fine when taken out of context and social history which Bolt has a tendency to do as does the ALC and others who want to retain the right they previously had to discriminate against Marriage Equality removing the intent and interpretation of the law as they stand now and after the referendum was won by a convincing Australian majority.
