It has been discovered that the IPA itself is NOT a charity. The only charity connected to the IPA is ; The Trustee For Institute Of Public Affairs Research Trust , ABN 33886902896.
But their website asks for donations and says "The IPA accepts no government funding, and is supported by thousands of individual members and donors".
Donations mostly from mining companies and well known billionaires.
Your tax-deductible donation to IPA research will ensure the IPA remains a loud voice for freedom in Australia." Which is just laughable. No doubt the "tax deductions" would be considerable.
The IPA is full of the most objectionable right wing nasties , like the Hitler youth-like Paterson , the mad Abbott , and an assorted collection of self serving right wingers.
The IPA wants us to sell and privatise our ABC.
The IPA are actually the enemy of the people as all their so called "policies" are anti freedom of speech , anti journalistic freedom , and seek to concentrate wealth in fewer and fewer hands.
The LNP and its subsidiary the IPA are not to be listened to or trusted.

Until recently the federal government was displaying “a degree of self-congratulation and even hubris” in how well it had controlled the virus in Australia, according to Peter Rozen QC, counsel assisting the royal commission into aged care. This hubris was unjustified in aged care: Australia now has one of the worst rates of aged care deaths caused by COVID-19 globally.
Thank the gods for the royal commission, though, because despite
Morrison’s moral outrage, there would have been no other mechanism to
discover the poor preparedness and conditions of the sector, for which
his government has responsibility.
The federal government is asking a lot of its citizens right now – in many instances, it asks nothing short of obedience. The least it can give us in return is radical transparency when it comes to its decision-making and its mistakes.

What Bolt is telling us? That a police force that protects the poor exists? No, but he poor clearly know paid force exists to police them. Bolt's trying to convince who? That it protects the poor and doesn't spend it's time arresting them. The priority of the police is to protect property and violence generally born of poverty. HUMZA YOUSAF AND THE DIFFERENCE WHEN A WHITE POLICEMAN IS STABBED

after being moved to hotels.
We shouldn't be surprised to see Andrew Bolt protecting his own interests rather than discussing what occurred. It's an opportunity to have and be exactly what Humza Yousaf was referring to
The ABC has been on the IPA's hit list since John Howard took office but the foot went on the accelerator when "No Cuts to the ABC" Tony Abbott took office and it's been a case of death by 1000 cuts since then. Aunty's budget has been reduced by $800 mill bringing it's budget to the equivalent of 1984. The biggest media promoter for ridding Australia of it's most trusted source of news has been Rupert Murdoch's, News Corp. There is a very simple test which can be applied to our parliamentarians to see whether they are fit for office. It works for the general population as well, but it is in the political context where the test is crucial and necessary. The test shows whether they respect the wishes and the needs of the people. The test asks whether they want the ABC

How pushy is Bolt with selective facts taken out of context while he works from home? How may times a week has Bolt been comprehensively tested or even the medical staff on the front line? How many Australians have been tested? Bolt asked that question once to prove how little COVID death there is in Australia and that we don't know! Now he selling a tale that tests aren't really necessary because he has the evidence to extrapolate what's unknown. News Corp has laid staff off and is practising Social- Distancing. Bolt isn't accusing them of overreach. But he is demanding everyone else needs to drop bans set by this suddenly dangerous expanding Socialist Government. Is he frightened he'll be shut down on a show that can't be run or secure on failing advertising and an NBN that can't cope? What this pandemic is a realisation of is the Oligarchy's shit scared of losing ground. It reveals Privatisation simply can't deal with the common good only self-interest. Self -interest, in this case, was the well laid out 75 point plan set down by the Oligarchy and presented by their Association the IPA. They adopted that 75pt plan with the full backing of Murdoch Media and the financial power so obvious in that "miracle election" of $80 Mill vs $20 Morrison won.
