Andrew Bolt's Blog,20/12/18; Internalisation of evil is aneveryday matter Not discussed;

  The Banality of Evil - » The Australian Independent Media Network

Bolt's discussions debates and anti-protest, demands. His need for manners politeness and style has a purpose to simply normalise evil and mask Dorian Grey. (ODT)
Misperceived evils
A “misperception” because as an act of self-protection of ego, we protest that we are not evil, just a little compromised, more compliant, obedient or scared of being socially ostracised, perhaps?” As I said before, evil is integral to life’s banality; it is everyday ordinary barely conscious choices we make. It exists in the tiny, tired, “I don’t have the time“, “it’s not that bad“, “there are worse situations” excuses we tell ourselves to support the choices we make. Evil is not in the individual decision but the cumulative. It takes thousands of bad collective small choices made over years, that lead to the exclamation of “how the f#ck did we get here?” as we watch border patrol march down our streets, while our “authorities” detain and abuse our children and bash our disabled neighbours.
Worry not, you’re safe!

TRUMP DECLARES VICTORY IN SYRIA. DO THE SYRIANS AGREE?

Seriously? Something I'd expect from a Barack Obama instead: "President Donald Trump has announced the withdrawal of all 2,000 US troops from Syria as he abruptly declared victory over ISIL in the country, in a move that contradicted his own experts' assessments." Uh oh.

When a Captain's Call driven by a need to be liked and appear a winner drives a decision by anyone it's a mistake but when it's one made by Donald Trump it's a disaster in the making. It's a decision against all the advice of his own experts the experts of his allies his Party and the Congress you know why Trump was awarded Germany's Dumbass trophy 4 years in a row. Trump has not only betrayed the Kurds the American's allies in their battle against ISIS but he's given the nod it seems for the Turks to attack them. Who needs enemies when you have friends like the Americans?
Bolt seems silent on the fact that "Turkish leader says US President Trump gave a 'positive response' to Ankara's planned offensive in northern Syria.
" The YPG spearheaded Washington's fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group in Syria under the banner of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which it leads.
 Trump has seen fit to abandon them.
In the world today Putin seems the only stable force given the Peresidency of Donald Trump.

When the states can't agree with Canberra and even the Liberals in NSW are calling for a reality check, Bolt it seems has lost the case for rational debate and discussion. The states not only disagree but Harwin was furious with Taylor who prevented any discussion from happening by blocking any move to table it. The tension in the room was far conducive. When you come to realize that Federal Liberals are quite happy to hang the state counterparts out to dry rather than acknowledge the fact the problem of climate change is only theirs. The rest of the country has done a turn that shows just how politically disjunct this Federal Government is from everyone but themselves in the nation.
Wh is in Harwin's ear maybe it's the country's leading scientific body the CSIRO who Abbott cut funding toe in order to neuter them. Their newly released report is an embarrassment to the Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison mess.
" The backlash against the knifing of Malcolm Turnbull, and the failure of his national energy guarantee policy may one day be seen as the beginning of the end for the Coalition’s science-deniers, who have been dictating terms to the party since the rise of Tony Abbott in 2009."
The attitude of this government is represented by Canavan's statement "
“I’m not focused on what will happen in 2050, I’m focused on what will happen here and now.” Matt Canavan which shows the level of ignorance with regard Climate Change the science and it's consequences.
