Fighting Fake News and Facts, 17/6/19; Bolt's Back; You Have to laugh; The Government wants a recession to deliver their surplus; The ABC has found it's own Rupert Murdoch; Trump sees himself as Caesar

Bolt's back and with an OXYMORON "Let me explain the truth."says Andrew Bolt !!!!

Andrew Bolt was hardly magnanimous when hundreds of protesters protested against Trump, nor is he as generous to Australian protesters when they speak out against our government which he claims to support now that Abbott is gone. He certainly doesn't complain when the freedoms of Australians become increasingly restricted. The joke is that our Democracy is becoming increasingly diminished when the LNP IPA and News Corp unite against free speech but support the publicising of false information under the banner of news.
How often have we heard Bolt declare our courts "rigged" our national broadcaster "biased" and all our Cultural Institutions left-wing? He claims he was crucified by our courts for minor mistakes which the judge called outright lies published with a tone intended to racially vilify indigenous Australians.
Life and the media soundbites were a little less racist and authoritarian with Bolt away, and now he's back and with him comes that significant right-wing tone we lived prefered to live without. We had a substantial holiday for three weeks as we have since Tony Abbott was voted out.  (ODT)

Yes, he's back again.Andrew Bolt the man who hates Australia so much he doesn't holiday here. Let's face it he prefers the Socialist Netherlands to Australia Amsterdam to Melbourne. Remember when Bolt once declared he'd holiday in Chernobyl and Fukushima with his family. He was like that idiot Round Up spokesman who said Round Up was safe enough to drink and when it was offered to him on a TV interview, he ran from the studio. That Safe drink has had record-breaking claims successfully prosecuted against it. Guarantee Bolt if given free tickets on that holiday he claims he'd take his family on he'd refuse.
Bolt actually sounds like the apparachniks in the series who spent an enormous amout of energy ignoring the scientists for the politics. They wanted to hide the truth from the rest of the world just as Bolt does. He to provides his opinion like the shoemaker who was elevated to commisar and claimed to know better than any nuclear scientist. Guess another case of science being just a another religion and Bolt's agnosticism wiser grounds for and epistemologigal foundation. Let's send him  there shall we?
This is the calibre of misinformation that Bolt puts out without any evidence to prove his point. In fact, more people died from the scare than from the disaster itself — just as we now suffer more from policies to “stop” global warming than from any warming." Yes, Australia we have our own form of Trumpism here in Andrew Bolt, and it is paid for by News Corp who donates to Trump as well. Prepare for a tsunami of bullshit in the media each week to rain down yet again. More people have died of fright than radiation poisoning is just a taste.
Bolt's not discussing any evidence, but he's having a political dummy spit at it seems anyone whose against Nuclear Power. The fact he doesn't mention countries that do have it are moving away from it and not toward it because of the compound expansion globally of renewables. Bolt's lost that one and is trying to direct a sideshow.
The biggest issue is that renewable energy control is being eroded and handed to the consumers as was once desktop computers and away from centralised power producers and distributors which is ultimately a threat to a domestic Capitalist marketplace (ODT)

Would you like a recession with that surplus?

Josh Frydenberg wants to be the first Treasurer to deliver a surplus…

If reduced government spending in pursuit of a surplus leads to job losses, combined with falling house prices and very high household debt, we could be in a whole heap of trouble.
Would you like a recession with that surplus?

ABC managing director David Anderson.

ABC boss to push for more diversity of views among panel-show guests

ABC managing director David Anderson will push for a greater diversity of viewpoints among guests on its panel shows as the broadcaster braces for more 'tough' budget decisions including a review of a controversial website.
Attacked by the AFP, and now attacked from the inside itself you can't get more controversial views on the ABC than it has already. It has the largest diversity of opinions of any MSM already. Is Anderson going to demand 50 % of a panel on Climate to be deniers when only 3% of scientists are? Is he going to demand the majority of a panel be anti- coal or pro-coal when the majority of Australians across the spectrum are against fossil fuels. Is he going to require Peter Dutton appear regularly on the ABC when he refuses to or is he going to demand only soft questions be asked of him? (ODT)
Mr Anderson told The Sydney Morning Herald/Age that the ABC was facing some difficult choices about content and staff over the next three years to meet funding commitments after the Coalition was re-elected in May.
Mr Anderson said there was no evidence of systemic bias at the broadcaster but conceded the make-up of the broadcaster's panel shows - which also include weekday current affairs discussion program The Drum - could negatively affect public perception. The greater diversity could include political views, ethnic background and gender.
Is Anderson the Rupert Murdoch of the ABC?
