 So the warming of the planet record-breaking temperatures this century haven't increased the fuel loads and therefore warming wasn't the cause. The increased load just coincidently miraculously, in fact, appeared simply because of poor management by the States. Those extraordinary fires in Indonesia Siberia, Brazil weren't caused by warming either I guess. As for the Rain forests of QLD where crown fires occurred never seen before well they too were due to fuel loads. Money doesn't make Forrest a Scientist or more intelligent than the average Australian only he can pay to be noticed. (ODT)

Spruiking for money and fame is always a good image if what you say connects with an audience and his audience does have the money to look good yet play dumb in the service of their own interests fossil fuel and emissions. Tobacco Companies were the largest single funders of lung cancer and smoking research and we know how that went. Tony Abbott made a huge effort to sell us Dr Bjorn Lomborg who the Danes and the Koch Bros dumped. Here is Forrest suggesting the world of science has been left to hobbyists the past 40 + years and there is not enough evidence on our planet warming. He now wants to control that science. Well, Tony Abbott wanted to do the same thing with his appointment of the "world renown" Dr Bjorn Lomborg didn't he? It was going to bring him the holy grail too. (ODT)

It would seem Andrew Bolt is against Colonisation and Multiculturalism but hardly seems to understand the difference. Multiculturalism it's been agreed by Indigenous Australians and most others in positive, not negative terms the way Bolt does. Colonisation was the theft of Australia by the British coupled by lies the export of the unwanted from Britain namely the Fineans for the purpose of establishing investment and profit for shareholders back in Britain it, in fact, has an Inglorious Past to be ashamed of. Multiculturalism, on the other hand, has had a glorious history. Bolt hates Australia dreams of the Netherlands and is an exception as an immigrant and unsuccessful one that wants to drag one and all down with him. (ODT)

Bureaucrats keep showering Abdel-Magied with our cash: "Outspoken Australian author Yassmin Abdel-Magied has been awarded a $20,000 grant and a six-month residency at a Paris artists’ studio from the Australia Council." This is for a woman who lives in London, denounces Australia as racist and is - in my opinion - a poor writer. Check for yourself.

Yassmin is firstly an Australian. She's an engineer that has done and produced more GDP for this country than Andrew Bolt has done in his lifetime. She was a Television personality an author of  2 books and named Young Australian of the Year in 210. Andrew Bolt is a convicted Racial vilifier whose won no awards hasn't achieved anything in education and hasn't written any books but only cobbled his columns together and marketed and resold them as if they were books. Largely he's achieved nothing of value or high repute in Australia and prefers living in the Netherlands dreaming he might one day write a book. The Australian Council's Grants are available to all Australians. Bolt should try and apply to test the Councils wisdom. (ODT)
