'You don't have our backs': GPs lash out at health minister over comments about doctor sick with coronavirus

The health minister said she was 'flabbergasted' Chris Higgins went to work with a runny nose. Some GPs lashed out, arguing Jenny Mikakos had thrown the doctor 'under the bus for doing his job'.

The most significant aspect of the minister's attention part is that she is  only addressing the most privileged in the community "demanding" self-isolation. However, Jenny Mikakos ignores those thousands of workers, and there are millions in Australia who have no sickness benefits whatsoever to be able to "self-isolate". They struggle from payday to payday to support themselves and their families. She disregards the homeless who have no place to isolate themselves to. It's as if they don't exist.
She needs to substantially reexamine her irresponsibility as the Minister in charge of Public Health, not the Minister in charge of blaming and shaming a select few individuals. If she were really a Public Health Minister she'd start examining the poor job she has done in protecting Victorians healthwise generally. Single mothers, the Indigenous, the homeless are all at risk victims due to the inadequacies of her watch.
Her words are what you'd expect to hear from Pauline Hanson or the LNP and certainly aren't in the spirit of what you'd expect from a Labor minister. (ODT)

'Get them off the ship': Australians trapped on second coronavirus cruise

The Morrison government has no plan to evacuate citizens quarantined on a cruise ship off the coast of California after fellow passengers tested positive to the novel coronavirus.

Morrison is so Trump it beggars belief Trump isn't doing anything either he publicly said it was their fault they were on the ship in the first place so he's no evacuating any sick person. Their lack of care for their own citizens is patently obvious very different if they were large LNP donors, however or Pastor Brian Houston. (ODT)

It's identifying "progressive trends" and not the generalisations Andrew Bolt makes from selectively choosing individual events which he claims are "social facts" when they are just simply single events. 

You can step into Bolt's home and you will find that he's stereotypically "not-progressive". He is rather very much a wannabe elitist who never has entirely made the grade and in fact, is quite "un-Australian".  His attachment to things Dutch such as his dogs, tulips and dual passport when he was born here stand out.  His public declaration that for over half of his life he felt very un-Australian shows how un-progressive he is going backwards rather than forward in this Aussie environment. He is an Australian who fails to identify as one only as unless an elite. He's been described by fellow workers as an aloof non-mixer who only started to become the man he is today after his socially mobile marriage not through any outstanding merit. He never showed any exceptional talent of his own making.

Currently, he works for millionaires who, after his retirement will forget him.  He will fade, be forgotten as he's really a very ordinary person who thinks he's not. In most Australian circles he's a social climber an egoist welcome as a fart in an overcrowded car.

CANAVAN HOLDS CSIRO'S FEET TO FIRE

Alarmists, including the ABC, insist the summer bushfires were caused by global warming. But our CSIRO has said, "no studies explicitly attributing the Australian increase in fire weather to climate change have been performed". Watch it squirm when Senator Matt Canavan asks why it didn't include this fact in its new bushfire "explainer".

Remember Dr Andrew Pitman who Bolt held hostage refusing to acknowledge that Pitman said there was no "direct" evidence but Bolt insisted he meant there was "no evidence" connecting man-made warming to droughts. Well, he's doing it again. As with smoking and lung cancer, there is undeniable evidence of an indirect connection so too is that extreme weather is exacerbated by man-made warming. That increased CO2 emissions do have an indirect connection to the changes in weather

Bolt and Canavan are simply fools to maintain otherwise 40 + years of science generations of farmers and hundreds of years of fire fighting have testified otherwise to show these pedantic idiots up.

TURKEY'S NEW WEAPON AGAINST GREECE: MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS

A peace agreement and ceasefire were negotiated by Russia which Trump vetoed. Why then should Turkey be host to the world's largest refugee camps?
