The intention was about the Collingwood Football Club being the first in the AFL to instigate a formal self examination and the report that McGuire was referring to. The report was extremely negative and McGuire unfortunately saw fit to spin its issue as a positive. The media found that castigating McGuire would get more mileage and it did but we are none the wiser as to what was in the report. It seems always sorry Eddy, Eddy everywhere was the target rather than the Systemic Racism found in the Collingwood Clubs history.
That history is a history reflective of Australia's shameful White Supremacist's colonial past which in fact still everywhere and can be found in all Australian Institutions today even after more than 200 years. The LNP, Kelly's Community he's meant to represent, all of Australia it seems he should should be reigned in if not dropped in his next primary efforts.
