In less than 8 years ago Tony Abbott and Andrew Robb singing and the praising China. Their enemy was Putin and their post GFC promise of "No Tax Cuts" saw them abandon the Pacific by cutting the ABC's budget and abandoning Radio Australia it's heartbeat.
What and who was it that in such a short time raised the spector of China as the Global enemy? American domestic politics. They needed an enemy and Trump found Immigration and China. How tied the LNP is to the umbilical cord of American Republicanism is seen with the speed we turned China from friend to enemy in such a short time. The catalyst for that change was Murdoch the IPA and their tool the LNP. The echo and rumble of anti-China sentiment was heard as far back as 2015-16 When China complained about the press coverage it was being given here. That become a full blown crescendo by 2019-20 when Morrison became our Accidental PM and it's even louder now.
We've been Yanked and not by Americans in general but Murdoch the IPA and the LNP in particular because American conservative Politics has become our LNP Politics. We have been dragged down and into this mire since 2013 when we were the most admired nation with the second best economy in the world during and after the GFC.
How fast it is since "we" were a Pacific Nation to now when Morrison reminds us we stand alone and behind the the skirts of AUKUS. When you can hear the LNP crying out for more stringent Voter ID, that replacement theory is being taught in our schools when we are fundamentally a White Christian Country whose immigration policies are dividing us we know we have been Yanked. Step out on to the streets and look the message was clear prior to 2013 this country was the world's most admired and the skies were blue. Nothing's changed except the LNP and the message that has come with them and their Murdoch amplifier. The LNP doesn't use Australian media the ABC. You will however always find them with Rupert the American.

Holier than thou Tudge might be along with the right of Genghis Khan Sukkar and Vulnerable JobKeeper, JobMaker failure Josh Frydenberg might but their is no suggestion that even all LNP politicians are rooting for the spoilt brat Tim Smith. Is it any wonder that The Age has been reduced to what looks like a flyer these days for Harvey Norman?
What Smith did wasn't an "accident" he chose to drive , hit stationary objects. It was just luck it wasn't people. I live in Kew, I accept accidents happen, but Tim Smith didn't have an accident and an idiot is supported by some other idiots and don't deserve to be in office either.

Tim Smith is calling for money donors to join his Fight Club of which the first rule is not to talk about fight club but to talk about "poor Tim" who had a stationary car and kid's bedroom attack him one fateful night whe he only had 2 glasses of wine at a dinner he didn't eat. Is Tim now going to bat for all those drink drivers that have been wrongfully sacked for being over the limit and who didn't have an altercations with stationary objects?
