No confirmation on coal to Ukraine
All talk no walk that's our Scott Morrison. How about the Bushmasters? How many times have we heard this PM say he's Gunna but doesn't!
17 days from the announcement, there is no confirmation when the 70,000 tonnes of coal bought by the Prime Minister for Ukraine will be arriving, despite the Prime Minister promising Ukrainian president Zelenskyy directly that it is on its way.
The Prime Minister’s office has not been contactable about the issue, nor has delivery partner Singaporean-based Trafigura responded to media enquiries.
Whitehaven Coal, the producer and seller of the coal, said through a spokesperson that “The responsibility of supply and delivery is up to the government and its delivery partner Trafigura.”
The co-author of a major environment report card the Morrison government received more than three months ago but is yet to make public says she hopes it will be released soon, so scientists can act on its findings.

Morrison and Dutton were both Immigration Ministers. Along with Kevin Andrews one can only guess which was the worst? All pointed to Australians in the community Lebanese and Africans and now Chinese and declared them a "mistake" in a manner suggesting they weren't Christians, were Muslim or simply easily converted to ISIS or now China. Division fragmentation and hate offered them election opportunities. The current LNP this century are are fundamentally Assimilationists and anti a multicultural Australia. However the majority of these immigrants are actually Christians.
It's a reminder that Morrison as far back as 2011 promoted this ploy as a political tactic that could draw votes to the LNP by creating as much chaos and division in the country as possible and take votes away from One Nation. These two Ministers actively used Race, Religion and Ethnicity as a political point scoring excercise and did it shamelessly. Morrison was known and reported by his own party to be an activist in encouraging race division as a political strategy as far back as the Cronulla riots and he adopted it to gain his own pre-selection. All his denials since have been countered by his own Party more than the ALP. When heard from Morrisonthey remain more than just uncovincing. Morrison even admitted that he'd raised the issue a decade ago in an interview with Waleed Aly in 2016 having previously denied it outright. Morrison has fast established the reputation of being our own homegrown Donald Trump in that very little of what he says can't be believed. Even the leaders of allied nations have called him a liar or simply disregarded what he has to say often leaving him to make speeches to a vacant room.
"Mr Dutton last week stated that former prime minister Malcolm Fraser “did make mistakes in bringing some people in” as part of his immigration policies in the 1970s."
When pressed on those comments during Question Time on Monday, Mr Dutton singled out people of Lebanese-Muslim background.
Morrison is turning the Liberal Party into an autocratic party ruled from the top down telling it's members they have no say in their representation. No longer a Democracy but rather a Church and one in which he's God's chosen. It seems if anyone wishes to object they are automatically excommunicated.
A second text from former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has slammed
the Prime Minister as being more concerned with “petty pointscoring”
than human lives at the height of the deadly 2020 bushfires.
The texts,
sent from Ms Berejiklian to a mystery colleague within the party, were
then sent to Channel 10 journalist Peter van Onselen, and saw the former
Premier call Mr Morrison a “horrible, horrible person”. The full
exchange includes Ms Berejiklian saying: “Morrison is a horrible
horrible person. He is actively spreading lies and briefing against me
re the fires,’’ the text message reads.
The recipient of the text, which
the Channel 10 political editor says was a cabinet minister, replies:
“Morrison is about Morrison. Complete psycho. He is desperate and
jealous. The mob have worked him out and he is a fraud.” A second
screenshot obtained by news.com.au shows the conversation continued,
with Ms Berejiklian going on to say: “Thx. I’m just so so disappointed.
Lives are at stake today and he is just obsessed with petty political
pointscoring. So disappointed and gutted.”
Two days on, deafening silence. Not a word from the corporate
media and the national broadcasters. Despite the creeping visions now
planted in so many brains, despite the high public interest in this
story.Allegations of senior Liberal party figures cavorting in the
Parliament prayer room with prostitutes. Allegations sourced directly
from a document, an investigation by the government-aligned law firm
Sparke Helmore.Yet another raid by the police on a whistleblower. Still
silence. The document from the law firm Sparke Helmore was leaked to
YouTube investigator Jordan Shanks, aka FriendlyJordies, who published
it and produced a compelling Youtube video on the scandal which had
clearly been vetted by lawyers.
Why the silence?
the government does impose an enormous influence on the media in
Australia. Most of the media is either in cahoots (the Murdoch press)
with the government, or intimidated by the government and conflicted by
the lure of its subsidies and advertising revenues.
This is quintessential self-censorship and the answer would lie with
the media executives and editorial directors at the top of these
government subsidised media organisations. Did they get a phone call?
Probably. Do they ignore independent media because it is a threat?
Almost certainly.
While this story is regrettably dreadful for those involved and their
families, and some aspects are hard to stomach on the grounds of taste,
the media is not so squeamish when it comes to accusing politicians of
manslaughter as they did so avidly and unreasonably in the case of their
relentless Mean Girls coverage.
So “taste” does not stack up as an excuse for failure either. The
media in Australia has flipped. Although the corporate media no doubt
comforts themselves with the view that they are the real journalists and
independent media can safely, superciliously, be ignored, the reality
is that they are the sycophants. Not the journalists, but the
management, the leadership.
Prime Minister, over to you.

So many sympathetic Liberal women have tried to give Scott Morrison
advice. He is not listening to them. The people he does listen to are
all men, all the time, unless you count Mrs Morrison, who gave excellent
counsel in the matter of Brittany Higgins. Because of daughters. One
former press secretary, one of the few women in Morrison’s outer inner
circles, was affectionately known as Dr No for her ability to stand up
to the boss. As far as I can discern, she isn’t there any more either.

Ageist Andrew Bolt really has shown his bias and prejudice against young people. Not for reasons other than they amplify the poverty of his work given his production costs compared with what they can accomplish with theirs. Excellence is something Bolt has never achieved. His has been a career built on who he could suck up to rather than on merit. Originality has always escaped him and his family shamed and alienated by his inability to truly integrate and immerse himself in any culture.
