They are all on the board of oil and gas explorer, Genie Energy. Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation has been integral to the propaganda war; so much so that its Australian business has come under serious pressure this year amid anger over the coverage of the bushfires by major titles The Australian, the Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, the Courier Mail and Foxtel’s Sky News.

Morrison’s Principal Private Secretary, Yaron Finkelstein, was the former CEO of lobbying firm Crosby Textor (C|T).
