Conservative politics in Australia brought us scaremongering phobias after phobias spending so much energy on efforts to tell us who we are not. We weren't Commies but Frank Hardy was one " Beware of Reds under our beds", the CPA and they walk among us lead us to the "domino theory" that took us to Vietnam allowed us to sit and watch 1,000,000 Indonesians get slaughtered without comment. Islamophobia took us to Afghanistan Iraq and has now had us do sorties over Syria and we are only 24 million. All the while Andrew Bolt posting blogs, articles and did editorials that were a witch hunt fueling culture wars to build these phobias to enable extreme right-wing white Christian racist neo-Nazi Nationalists to look respectable, entitled to "free speech". He promoted Lauren Southern and the bankrupt Milo as examples of the respectable voices of hatred fueling cultural and political division.
 Bolt's a multitasker of hatred and phobias, anti-Muslim,anti-Lebanese anti-Sudanese anti-gays, anti-climate change anti-frightbat feminists, anti-leftist and now taking up Pauline Hanson's of old chant being anti-Chinese or Sinophobic. When you add up the scores other things Bolt hates about Australia you have to come to the conclusion there's not much he likes. He's simply anti- Australian culture why? Because fragmentation and division is the only way Bolt can keep the unity found in multicultural Australia divided.
Does Bolt rail about the loyalty Israel squeezes out of Jewish Australians? They have recruited Australians to work undercover for them poured millions into Australian associations to lobby on their behalf and if they have felt double-crossed arrested kidnapped dragged them to Israel and locked them away. Even driving them to suicide while continuing on with their daily espionage, lobbying and influencing the decision makers of this country. Packer, Murdoch are up close and personal to the Israeli PM whose just been indicted for being a corrupt promoter of fake news. All the activities Bolt raises here about China are exactly those mirrored by the Israelis, Russians and Americans But you will never find Bolt commenting on that.
 He once ran anti -Trump commentaries but then flipped. They've stopped and he's now following the Fox News Corp line lobbying for Trump telling us how clever he is because he gets things right sometimes but then so does a broken clock.
Conservatives have a history of drumming up phobias Howard 's were Boat People, Children Overboard, Hussein's WMDs when global intelligence was telling him the reverse and like his predecessors he too us to war for little more than domestic politics. Do we really need to be that careful that vigilant that we are afraid of peace? If we do haven't we got ASIO, the AFP and ABF and other security departments doing that for us. So why is Bolt telling us you me and the dog next door needs to be alert and on their toes watching the Chinese to become not only China watchers but suspicious of each other? Well simply to give us divided and it's just another point of division. Fear is a strong wedge and political divider and the extreme right and simply the Liberal Party itself applies it and will to garner support by fuelling fear and suspicion in Australia where ever they can. Bolt says we need to be suspicious trying to recruit us to his way of thinking? Didn't Scott Morrison say he has organizations in place that does that for us? But then the ALP is a China lover and have more in common with them, don't they?

Bolt truly is the voice of an unreasoned adult firstly he and Panahi media personalities smacks down David Attenborough a man who has paid attention all his life to scientific research its findings and the underlying and unintended consequences of what we are doing to our planet.60% of our natural fauna extinct since industrialisation. He has opened a window on the worst case scenarios to be made from these peer-reviewed studies if we go on. Now Bolt and Panahi turn on a 15-year-old with Asperger's. Did they make her condition up for effect like saying French rioters were calling for Trump? I noticed neither he nor Panahi mentions the 17-year-old on Q&A that had the panel in a quandary on Monday. No, better a kid with  Aspergers as it amplifies their smackdown her mental condition important it seems that brought her to an unwarranted conclusion. 15-year-olds with Aspergers are dumber than 60-year-old media hacks like Bolt and Panahi. They obviously didn't watch Australia's Child Genius on SBS where all of those kids some with Aspergers had Mensa scores higher than Einstein and at 12 were doing university maths. Yes, there are 12-year-olds with more skills than Andrew Bolt could dream of and yes the world recognizes they have them where Bolt and Panahi obviously don't. Age is all that counts unless of course your 91 like Attenborough. 

Bolt makes no mention of Scott Morrison an adult telling Australia it will reach our emissions targets of 2030 "in a canter" when the UN has declared that's not true. Well, when a child can say the same, that Morrison is failing us and the world, Bolt it seems will always support the wiser adult unless of course, he's a scientist or David Attenborough. Bolt and Panahi are just two Neanderthals, rude attention seeking arseholes who aren't any better informed just because they are media "personalities". Currently, surveys show they have some 4% of Australians believing in them and 96%  are more likely to believe that the 15-year-old girl has something to offer. So even their argument that" personalities" are readily used to cut through arguments seems to fail and fail big time because they are perfect examples of the failure of their celebrity to have any impact with their own arguments, really only 4%?

WHY TURNBULL REALLY, REALLY MUST KILL THE LIBS

Is Bolt really trying to raise the level of pity for the Liberals with a conspiracy that Turnbull is revolting a rabble-rouser behind the scene in the Liberal Party? Moderates were in the majority before and after Turnbull. In plain English, majorities defend they don't plot revolts that have been the sole activity of the conservative faction who dare not call their leaders name. The problem all along has been that the moderate majority has tried to accommodate them rather than kill them and Bolt's right the Libs do need to radically adjust from accommodation to expulsion or else there won't be a Liberal Party. Whatever happened to the Warringah Motion it's been thrown aside in the case of Craig Kelly who it might be pointed out was threatening to do a Julia Banks but was never attacked for doing so the way she was. The Bully was suddenly transported to the position of the victim and as Bolt now tries to point out the whole party is the victim of one man. No, that one man is encouraging that majority of Liberals to get off their butts and save the Party.
Bolt the most tainted personality in media has taken up the role of  "I don't really want to be don't think badly of me" psychologist to convince us that Malcolm Turnbull is predisposed to revenge when Abbott for instance is and was not. However, a simple comparison between Abbott and Turnbull's histories shows the opposite is true. Abbott has left more violence and blood on the tracks of politics than Turnbull ever has. It's been ugly and Bolt has always intentionally failed to show it because he's always been his News Corp and IPA protectors.
 However, the worm has turned and as we saw once before when Abbott was forced to silence Bolt raised his voice to protect him it failed and failed each time Bolt said over and over  "he's changed". He hadn't so much so Bolt went silent and turned on Shorten. Abbott's silent once again the altar boy and Bolt has a ready target to misdirect us in order to forget the real Rasputin in the Liberal ranks the would-be priest that uses religious synonyms when it comes to politics who claims he has a calling like Paul of Tarsus which really is the doings of men who need to be judged not by anything other than what they have done and do. Bolt's even easier to judge he's just a camp follower of the elite looking for the crumbs of privilege he always has and always will be genuinely aloof and friendless which disguises and calls shyness. Remember the Warringah Motion? Neither do the Liberal Party!

TOP CLIMATE SCIENTIST: MAN CAN'T DO MUCH TO CHANGE CLIMATE

Judith Curry is a top climate scientist, and warns there's no point to slashing emissions: "Carbon dioxide is not a control knob for the climate... There's  a lot of natural forces in play here that determine the climate and thinking that we can really control the climate by dialling down the CO2 emissions is really misguided hubris."

So apparently the drive for cleaner renewable energy outcomes has no beneficial effect on either cost, health, or on improving the quality of life for the next generations whatsoever why bother. I think if Curry actually stood in front of the stampede who believe the reverse she simply would be a dead prophet. Cities like Beijing and others like Dehli certainly believe they can clean up their emissions act and have less polluted and healthier days and coal barons like Adani believe so too and are transitioning to renewable energy which they even know is cheaper to produce and in outcomes than fossil fuels are. WHY I DON'T BELIEVE DAVID ATTENBOROUGH

VIDEO  You might ask, how can I be so sure the global energy but "experts"  are wrong? That the great David Attenborough is wrong to claim we face the "collapse of our civilisations"?  Tim Flannery is wrong to predict sea rises "eight storeys" high?  I explain in my editorial on The Bolt Report.

Andrew Bolt changes like the weather he's a yo-yo when arguing Climate Change. In this editorial, he's no longer a denier of global warming. The science is now real, only that man-made change is exaggerated, exaggerated so much we needn't do anything about it least of all transition to cleaner forms of energy systems, better health outcomes and save nature as we know it. That will cost far, far more than the old fossil fuel systems we use today. The problem Bolt spent over a decade telling us the world was cooling. When Attenborough or others talk of the sea rising they also spoke of the accelerated rates of warming and poles melting. They speak of compounded rates of CO2 emissions, warming and melt rate of the polar caps. Bolt's graphic is based on simplistic and constant rate increases, but he doesn't tell you that. Who better than Attenborough knows more about the changes to global flora and fauna it's not Bolt who shamelessly mocks the man. Nor does Bolt tell you these catastrophes are worst-case scenarios or won't occur across the board.
 The theatrics and drama Bolt puts into his denials is as exaggerated as that telling us what might happen if we don't address things now and allow things to progress. All Bolt's done is flipped their arguments and presented the best case scenario telling us things aren't bad. For instance, if Scandinavian glaciers were to melt the seas around the fiords of Scandinavia would only rise 36 cm. Well, Bolt should try to sell is arguments to the Dutch and see the reaction he gets.

 Furthermore, the cost cherry has been popped The fact is the majority of the 195 nations on the planet are putting their efforts into transitioning to clean energy and new technologies are because they are cheaper than fossil fuels with better-projected outcomes for their next generations as well. In increasing numbers the peoples of the world believe it and aren't rioting. France is reacting because of  Macron's Abbott and Hockey approach to fuel tax saying the poor don't have cars or drive far. That had Abbott throw the blame on Joe and dump him.
Investors, consumers, science, technology, miners and producers aren't failing us with some imaginary Ponzi scheme as Bolt tries to convince us of. They are all in one form of transition or another to renewables intent on lowering CO2 emissions and producing cleaner energy but Bolt won't tell you that either. Adani the latest Australian coal baron is trying to sell a $1 billion dollar newly built coal-fired power plant in India for $0.20cents and he can't find a buyer. He's also one of India's biggest investors in clean renewable solar energy on the subcontinent. However, Bolt won't tell you that either. Australian energy producers want a price on carbon a Carbon Tax set and fixed and they too are transitioning to renewables. In the meantime their profits have doubled not halved in parallel with consumer bills Bolt doesn't mention that. Nor does he mention the hard cold fact that the proportion of income spent on energy bills of the average Australian household hasn't changed. What he fixates on is the optics and not the statistics or the science for the sole benefit of politics.
 Calling science a religion, that technologists, financiers, are really only schemers after your money and their insane drive for renewables won't produce better outcomes at all that it's just a Ponzi scheme is little more than an effort to hold back progress. Bolt's not arguing the science, the statistics or the economics he clutches on occasional straws and mistakes made in order not to talk about the trend happening simply to embellish a futile scare campaign for regressive political action and outcomes that nobody today believes in given the chaos in our politics today.
Well, what we have Bolt doing promoting division he's gone from a cooling planet, science is a religion to warming is real and science is simply overstating the danger back to the Lomborg argument which only shows just what a flipper the man is. He is Abbott's man so don't hold your breath because you will see him flip back to Abbott's position that man-made climate change is crap if it exists its good. Behind his editorial desk, he's not debating he just proselytising preaching from the pulpit of denial and reaction to progress that will continue to move forward despite Trump and Australia.

In 2006 2GB Alan Jones and Conservative media was accused and correctly fueling the fires that caused the Cronulla riots. Back then Scott Morrison encouraged his local Liberal branch to adopt this division as a political agenda as a means of political support. It was in the days of the Howard government. However Abbott took Morrison's logic on board and coined Team Australia and we've seen News Corp's Andrew Bolt step into Jones shoes and take on the Lebanese, Muslims, and Sudanese in Victoria as 'them' and not us. It not only gains attention when on the front page in one form or another but it resonates across Australia as a false flag and has the, in the end, the negative pushback hoped for and the optics to sell so much so it seems politicians and News Corp are intent on creating yet another Cronulla before the next election. It's the "see I told you so" politics that conservatives thrive on.
One might ask why the reality is in fact ignored and the majority success of Australia's refugee migration schemes amplified rather than the promotion of the reverse denied by police, social workers, statistics and the voting by Victorian electorates alike. None has any impact on what Andrew Bolt wants to promote. If he was genuinely curious wouldn't he leave the security of his white enclave and get up close and personal to investigate rather than mock as he did this time last year with his son the idea of a Sudanese beauty contest showing just what a white supremacist he is.

The GSCEMP Welcome Weekend was a huge success with the visitors all showing great enthusiasm to relocate to the region. Eleven people, visiting from Melbourne and Sydney, were welcomed by the communities of Casterton and Hamilton over the two days. In the words from Gabriel from Melbourne:
‘I finally feel like I’m in Australia and it already feels like home.’
The weekend involved a guided bus tour of the towns, including visits to a hospital, school, dairy farm, aged care facility and homestays with local families in Casterton.
At the end of the weekend, it was clear that the visitors loved our region and plan to move as soon as they can. The project team will now assist the families to find jobs and suitable housing in order to move to the Great South Coast region in the coming months.
A huge thank-you to the Glenelg Shire Council, Southern Grampians Shire Council, the Leadership Great South Coast project team and many local community members that assisted to make the weekend a success.
