They don't even need Monis and the death of 2 white hostages but it helps. Bolt would have run the argument if the two hostages had have been Indian. Because he an assimilationist can't abide by the tolerance of multiculturalism. They need racism or tribalism whatever they want to call it to run their line.
Again Abbott's lack of sympathy for the gunman's family is lauded by Bolt after all they were Muslim. What's essential here is for Bolt is to disparage Tessa Kum and suggest her sympathy is racist while Abbot's lack of it is fine. He co-opts Steyn's to help but neither really succeed.

Bolt is such a distorter of the facts. Yes Monis was charged as an accessory. A charge that could be very serious or extremely slight . Bolt who has little respect for the law since being fined $256,000 when found guilty of a more serious charge in a civil case has really no reason  to distort fact but does. One wonders why?
Tony Abbott's behaviour has been questioned throughout the siege in as much as it was alleged the gunman who felt aggreieved by a High Court decision  a few days earlier wanted a word with the PM.  Abbott simply said no. Others have committed mayhem in the community. The explanation for their actions has rarely been blamed on the communities they originated from or their religions. Bolt is the exception that proves the rule. He is the failure of rational thought.

 Bolt uses the term "apologist" against reasoned thought in the same way he does "warmist" against peer-reviewed science of global warming, simply to deflect attention and provide space for is single minded self serving rants.

 News Corp is merely trying make a commercial grab at controlling media digital space. So much for freedom of choice allowed consumers if Turnbull removed the opportunity. If the ABC news is that bad and News Corp's that good shouldn't we the consumers be allowed to make the decision and switch to News Corp. After all digital media is merely the technology.

Bolt was eager to see TV production closed Comedy, Current Affairs and so many programs and ABC areas have constantly been in his cross hairs.

The ABC was running on $900,000 some 10 years ago and has been told to be more efficient yet again. It's running on less now than ever before. Can the same be said for the corporates? No way! In the end we the consumers pay and we the consumers are getting a bigger bang for our buck than we ever had from our public carrier which operates and reveals our pluralistic democracy and not some American version of life.

 Commercial stations would never put programs on that show the diversity in which we live. Bolt sees them as left biased programs. Shows depicting Malvern life for Bolt are the true Australia sorry it's bullshit. He'd love us to believe Redfern is full of Aboriginal criminal youth drunk and addicted If it wasn't for the ABC we'd never have found out that only one kid has been arrested in Redfern this year and that the arrest rate in Malvern is higher.
