Ultimately his approach of attracting the best migrants possible means little or no Immigration whatsoever because the successful aren't in a rush to leave their countries unless they are corrupt or wanted. Why did Bolt's family flee the Nazi town of Alsmeer in Netherlands one might well ask? Why did his mother hate it here so much yet stay?
4) Release the Coalition Agreement the LNP wouldn't dare move to a greater Democracy and if it did and had Tony Abbott continued at the reins the Liberals would have been reduced to the size of One Nation.
5) Reconciliation Australia is the only country without a Human Rights Bill  the only Country 
 without a Treaty with it's First Peoples Canada, USA, and NZ must far too radically Left for Andrew Bolt who calls Recognition the New Racism if it's the New Racism what's the Old? He fails to acknowledge any of the truths revealed in our history.

A banner posted as a threat by Bolt without a comment by Bolt is Bolt's idea of reasoned argument. " The Building Respectful Relationships material, which is meant to prevent family violence, is replacing religious education lessons during class time in Victorian state schools this year." Seems perfectly reasonable in a secular and multiracial society. Given religious education has had little success in reducing domestic violence or violence against women it seems an extremely rational  and reasonable that a uniform secular approach be tried. After all religious educators are the least to have professional experience in the areas involved.

Taking singular items and advertising them as the core of the program simply indicates just how narrow minded and blinkered in thought  conservative extremists are. We've seen how in the past "Rock and Roll" was set to destroy our society as we knew it. The flower power movement of the 60s was simply an excuse for avoiding social responsibility by dole bludgers and required National Service  to boost ADF numbers for Vietnam as sufficient numbers of volunteers weren't to be found. Labor promises to throw your good money to prop up bad businesses

It never fails to amaze how Bolt talks about Shorten breaking trade agreements but totally fails to ask why China can suddenly put restrictions on internet sales of products from Australia. Natural Therapeutic and dairy products have had regulatory restrictions put on them threatening  billions of dollars of exports. However why would he be protecting China's interests over and above ours by not mentioning this? Oh his priority to embarrass Bill Shorten of course. Trade agreements can't be compromised  by us unless they are agreements  broken by conservatives. 

Bolt somehow is unable to distinguish private from national interest in fact there is no national interest in his ideal model of society everything ought to be privatised in his scheme of things even our Defense. In someways it is because private companies act as security for our Defense now.  It's only when ideas of National Interest are raised  that  National waste and harm are raised by the likes of Bolt. Yet the largest waste, bankruptcies and fraudulent practices are to be found in the private sector and the public the tax payer is charged for those losses. So as far Bolt is concerned the Whyalla can go to the wall as can Clive Palmer's Nickel plant and the $73 mill loss to workers at Palmer's born by the workers and not the tax payers. The same to be said for Whyalla. Workers and the families are of no National Interest.

Relatively small shares say they see ISIS favorably. In some countries, considerable portions of the population do not offer an opinion about ISIS, including a majority (62%) of Pakistanis.

Favorable views of ISIS are somewhat higher in Nigeria (14%) than most other nations. Among Nigerian Muslims, 20% say they see ISIS favorably (compared with 7% of Nigerian Christians). Read this blog and you'd think otherwise that he speaks for all of us.  If he did he'd feel comfortable walking the streets of Melbourne speaking publicly but he's not. His views represented here are more foreign and un-Australian and what's surprising it's promoted by a son of Dutch migrants from Aalesmere the most notorious town in Holland for it's anti-Semitic prejudice and it's support of the Nazis  not just by it's mayor but for the townsfolk who enthusiastically elected him.

The power of the church is not reflected in the numbers of it's parishioners that's for sure but more so it's  economic power and corporate structure . The Catholics in this country are dwindling in numbers. It's schools once exclusive to Catholics are today open to people of all faiths and reflect multicultural nature of Australia more than they do a  Catholic one or even  an exclusive white European one.

When the Exclusive Brethren did a deal with the Howard government it may have been the case but not the corporate Catholic Church? The Commercial thuggery used by this Church is akin to that used by the Mining Companies when they advertised against the Mining Tax. Who was the Church representing in it's threats not it's  parishioners that's for sure.  Because the organization of the Church has a far more corporate structure than it does a union like one it's hardly Left-wing Mr Bolt. I suggest you re-think basic politics 101.

 

 

Column - China the latest threat to our nation of tribes

I don't subscribe to anything News Corp and I certainly don't miss out.

For Bolt the best times were when we were truly a European country in Asia. A place he really never experienced. He certainly wasn't a typical child of the 60s, a hippy. Furthermore in the 70s he just wanted to get out of the place and couldn't leave fast enough to get back to his roots Europe.

I don't believe he's left. He's never really been Australian just kook at the photo of his desk. He has a fortress Australia mentality has no wish to see much further than his front fence. He hangs about antique shops and art galleries in order to create little Europe at hope but not the working class Europe that brought people here post WW2 the middle class Europe. Bolt imposes his world of sameness on us where as Australians welcome people to their world of difference. The Israeli State is a true Democracy. In constitutionally declaring it to be a Jewish state it will declare the current defacto reality real and make 25% of it's citizens second class. Bolt never mentions any of this while declaring and giving so much  opposite advice on our constitution. Words mean nothing just the side.  A friend who watched the proceedings on television said he felt the need to take a shower to get the stain off. But then I met a religious family walking back to their hotel, engaged in a deep debate over the evening’s speeches. I eavesdropped just as they reached a family decision to transfer their votes from Cruz to Trump. When I asked them why, they said because “he’ll be good for Israel.” And how did they know that, I persisted, and they looked at me as if I was an idiot. “Didn’t you hear his speech?” they asked, and rightly so. Burning the Catholics’ church

Bolt the agnostic certainly doesn't know a thing  about the Catholic Church if he believes  , BBC , ABC, and Sydney Opera house are equivalents.A question for Griffiths. Should the BBC be burned down for the sins of Jimmy Saville? Should we torch the ABC and the Sydney Opera House for the crimes of Rolf Harris? " The Catholic Church would have helped Harris and Saville had they confessed but not their victims. They are bound by the sacrement of absolution not to tell. They aren't bound to help. The Church would welcome the sinners back singing praise the lord. Not so the godless others. They all may well have had their Littles and Pells with secrets but in the cold light of day  forgiveness wouldn't be an option for the BBC, ABC, and Opera House. So no Bolt nobody would expect them to be burn't down. Anyway surely the Church is insured and doesn't put it's entire faith in god.

You better believe it . A multi billion dollar trade in drugs both legal and illegal is not just the province of the lower classes. Go through the houses of Toorak, Malvern and Armadale and see the drugs that can be found. Go through Andrew Bolt's medicine cabinet. Drug test Scotch, Melbourne Grammar and St Catherines aand you shouldn't be surprised. The lower classes of this city can't turn over the money that's exchanged above and below the table to self medicate.

Yet another Islamist plot thwarted

Bolt's source the Herald Sun his own paper. The source report says far far less than Bolt. It only  makes  mention of  an alleged person with suspected terrorist ties. Yet Bolt has grown  it into something far more. He accuses the person concerned of being an Islamist with specific religious motivation as opposed to political. So he's been Id'ed by Bolt as an extremist Muslim rather than a possible extremist. He  then says he was out to target and kill non- Muslims. When in the majority of of known cases to date terrorists have killed  indiscriminately no  regard for color race or religion.  It seems Bolt  lives his sick fantasy and just makes things up to suit himself and not the truth. Given Paris has such a large population of Muslims and that any bomb would kill some and Bolt knows specifics shouldn't he be called in for questioning?
