PROF. GEOFFREY BLAINEY: BRUCE PASCOE'S ABORIGINAL HISTORY IS FAKE

Bruce Pascoe, author of the best-seller Dark Emu, is promoted to schools by the ABC as an "Aboriginal" author, teaching that Aborigines were actually farmers, living in "houses" in "towns" of more than "1000 people", with animal "pens. But Australia's greatest historian, Professor Geoffrey Blainey, says there is no evidence for his claims. Watch.

 Andrew Bolt has no credibility or arguments of his own so he turns to Blainey who built his career on white man's history and white man's definition of "evidence. Pascoe didn't say Aborigines were "only" farmers but were "also" who lived in large communities and evidence exists they practised what white men call "farming techniques".

"No evidence" however for Bolt and Blainey simply that there is 40,000 years of no written evidence, 200 years of destruction of language guaranteed evidence isn't as readily available as they demand but hard evidence has been found. But then, there is no definitive evidence that Blainey or Bolt are right other than "in their opinion" and their criteria of proof.

As for teaching history in schools as an immutable fact rather than controversial realities would have the Dutch teaching their children for 40 years post WW2 that they saved rather than persecuted Jews. If that was the case then teaching history would be reduced to an exercise in training rather than learning and that then is an ideological demand. Even Blainey wouldn't dare fail Pascoe on that level only disagree with him. Something Bolt doesn't do. However, he failed to complete his first year at Adelaide University has done very little to research Pascoe and calls in others to attempt to do what he can't. Bolt fails Pascoe Blainey doesn't. BLAINEY ON BRUCE PASCOE'S HISTORY: 'NO EVIDENCE'

COLUMN Geoffrey Blainey, Australia’s greatest historian, is just as astonished as I am by the Bruce Pascoe scandal. Why has the fake history of this “Aboriginal” writer been repeatedly promoted on the ABC and in schools, even winning a NSW Premier’s literary award? 

It's all been said above. Bolt has pet hates and when he's working to rule and lost for anything current to say he drags is pet topics out Bruce being an example. Blainey is a historian but a very poor social scientist and a racist to boot. Social cohesian to Blainey was threatened by "too many Asians allowed into the is country".

  

 neither side is saying what the other side claims it is saying. John Howard and Geoffrey Blainey are not seeking to whitewash Australian history, just as Don Watson and Manning Clark were not seeking to denigrate Australian achievement. The argument is not about content-it is about emphasis. It is not so much concerned with the nature of history as it is with the use of history. As a people, we are trying to come to terms with the fact that 'Australian' history is no longer written purely from the perspective of the majority.

In a spirit of reconciliation, some Aboriginal leaders such as Noel Pearson have also sought to find common ground by emphasising 'the complexity of the past' and the value of some transplanted colonial institutions such as (perhaps somewhat pointedly) the common law.

Andrew Bolt is certainly unlike Stan Grant, for instance, a protagonist for a white man's history of Australia. To say he's he's not seeking to whitewash Australian history is being in denial of what it is he is saying and to think Blainey isn't a Europhile and an Assimilationist is to view his past through some very apologist glasses.

 Andrew Bolt simply refuses the fact that Australian history today isn't immutable and any effort in rewriting it is base on the fact and need that it's clearly a history of once-powerful Colonials and a minorities effort to hold onto something they believe they once had and deserved. It's a celebration of power rather than a want to search for any better understanding of the past.  (ODT)

It may only have been one lunch, but it broke records in the speed it took to issue visas for the family of a man that ASIO had informed Dutton was up close and personal to the CCP. It's a further deflection away from Tony Abbott who had several fundraising at the function rooms of a Chinese man who had the reputation in the whole Pacific Region as being an equivalent of a triad boss. Where any of the donations or expense free offerings ever declared by the Liberal Party on these occasions? Revenge or not of an Australian citizen pales in the face of the fact that both the men seeking to bring Turnbull down were as close to the Chinese as Sam Dastyari was and was pressured to resign from parliament.
Bolt's a standing joke when he says "Dutton only did it once". Since when has that been a defence? "I only raped her once"  "I only consorted once" and "I  had my fingers crossed doing it."
Bolt plays the equivalence card as well "everyone does it" that lobbyists take money to arrange meetings Bolt brushes it aside and certainly doesn't want to go down that path. Sam Dastyari had an airfare paid for. Who it might be asked then paid for that lunch? After all, Abbott almost killed his friend Peter Slipper over $900 of cab charges. So why is this so unimportant?

Wow, how good does and powerful does Malcolm Turnbull seem today he's behind everyone whose opposing the Liberals everywhere and they are just his puppets. When your backs to the wall invent a conspiracy, the public is just dumb, dumb enough to buy it. Wasn't Turnbull the ineffective politician that Dutton, Abbott and Murdoch said had to go? The loser, too weak a politician, that was incapable of organising anything whose now towering over the LNP?

Good question: Why is Labor leader Bill Shorten offering no-cost treatment for only cancer, and not other more deadly diseases? And why does he forget to say that cancer treatments in public hospitals are actually free, and he cannot guarantee that specialists offering private care bulk-bill?

So it's, yes, a Paywall which will not have a satisfactory answer if subscribed to either. Cancer treatment isn't free if it were our public hospitals would be inundated with long term patients. The population of Australia is aging, and cancers tend to be an aging and very costly disease. What are the other "more deadly" diseases Andrew Bolt refers to, we can only guess?  Would they get as much loving support and political heft from a group of otherwise conservative aging voters? Shorten's promise along with Climate Change ought to be a great hit in Flinders and Warringah wouldn't you think strongholds of once traditional thinking let alone in the rural areas of Australia? Far more of an impact than Bolt's cynical criticism of an excellent policy move. Who will stand and cheer him for his wowserism?

Firstly stats it seems haven't been kept on child molestation over the years. However, until the Royal Commission, they have been hidden. More than 10% of priests were found to be molesters and white. History shows this activity has been in fact going on for over 200 years and Indigenous children were their soft targets. Various Institutions were a recruiting ground for child molesters why because they were known and hidden. Our airports are queued up with middle-class white men boarding planes on sexcapades to screw colored children in poor countries it's at industry levels. Videos and photos are available on subscription to these low life white men and when found out they are more often than not men of Kennerly's and Bolt's respective respectable class.
White drug addicts alcoholics have been known to pimp their children out for prostitution yet Bolt and Kenerly make no mention of it and the statistics remain hidden. 
Parents of all creeds and colours care for their kids no more than Indigenous families the fact that Australian Indigenous people are the loudest and the stats open and not hidden might just show they care more for their children than white people do. Child molestation is a problem however racists declare it to be a racial one when they don't want to face the fact that it's their problem too. 
 There are only two racist broadcasters here KAK and here KKK attack using child molestation as a weapon against Indigenous Australia and Andrew Bolt lining up behind here with his pathetic appeal to the myth of reverse racism when the light of day is shone squarely on them for what they are.

Kennerly if she's suffering can only be suffering for her own stupidity hit by the fact she was racist.
