Trudeau marks Holocaust Day by not mentioning Jews

Isn't it strange that Bolt and Aron Goldstein commit the same act of omission they accuse  Justin Trudeau of. No mention is made of the millions of Romany killed in the holocaust either. The Jews weren't the only ones to suffer but Bolt doesn't ever mention the others. Bolt goes further and talks of the decline of Jewish sponsored trips to Israel as if it is in some way biased maybe if these were Israeli sponsored trips there wouldn't be what he regards as a problem. I believe Bolt would Disapprove of Muslim sponsored trips to Australia of radical speakers. Maybe this goes a long way to explain why Jewish sponsorship has been rejected.

We could help six times more refugees if we didn’t bring them here

Every ploy in the book to blame the victims we helped create and absolutely no responsibility for their welfare that's the elephant in the room Bolt avoids talking about. The Australia we don't believe we are.

1, Cost: We can't afford to be humanitarians up close and personal. Send them food parcels  as compensation for the damage we caused. Let Jordon and Turkey deal with the problem screw global citizenry

2, Then there’s the security risk of potential jihadists, The added costs associated with them with policing immigrants. There is no proof that asylum seekers are any more activists, criminal or dangerous than  Australians in general. In fact there's evidence to say they are less. Bolt's creating alarm where there is none.

3, $70,000 on 4 years of welfare. Immigrants aren't as Bolt likes to make out long term welfare recipients. It's a strange accusation coming from a man whose parents were no doubt assisted when they arrived here. Who as public servants weren't exactly the most productive members of our community and who provided us wit Andrew Bolt an unproductive Australian.

4,The maths says: help refugees but not here not here. Humanitarian Aid is not simply calculated on economic rationalist grounds.  Nor is any consideration given to who created this problem in the first place. Israel and the Westerm coalition 

Maybe the equivalent money spent on the illegal bombing and creation of the problem  needs to be addressed in the first place. That money spent could well have been far more constructively applied and no refugee problem would have existed.  $1 - 2 Billion criminal waste. Bolt simply lets that slide and would prefer to walk away and leave others to clean up our mess.Economic benefit of refugees continues to be ignored

Finnish folly: pushing the rapist - and reality - aside

2.5% of rapes in Finland are suspected asylum seekers not proven if half were guilty and that's not the case 1.25% Any correlation between increased  crime  particulary over the long term isn't made.  Bolt's blog has no basis in fact and is simply anchored on unfounded  discrimination in order to generate alarm. Bolt from an immigrant family is exactly what he maintains 12000 Syrians will become divisive like him. Wouldn't it be wise to find the guilty first and then consider what actions need be taken? Bolt is divisive he probably is a dual national shouldn't the first act of passport removal be Bolt's?

So Bolt actually believes the current Turnbull LNP  is the same as the Abbott LNP was. The ALP certainly agree with him.

How dare Lambie praise Turnbull when Bolt refuses to. It simply reinforces the Bolt principle whenever the opportunity strikes play the man.

 

The high price of dividing us by race - and silencing dissent

Bolt is dissenting against  a law that recognizes and reduces  the existential threat  posed by divisions of Australia into "them" and "us" and the attendant hierarchies . The racial vilification act tries to ensure that equality  exists and is maintained between the diverse groups among us. Bolt maintains it's an imposition to our freedoms to  be able to bully others according to race. That there should be no discrimination against Australian citizens on grounds of race, nationality, gender or religion should be a natural state of affairs for any democracy."

 A country that places one ethnic or religious group above others cannot offer full equality. It will always have second-class citizens, even if they have the appearance of holding full civic rights which is currently the case if one looks at the incarceration rates of indigenous Australians. Bolt accepts the post colonial top-down social order. Equality however requires the very opposite of unconsciousness acceptance.It demands that we pay attention to our environment and to one another. It asks of us to recognize specific groups to ensure their rights are not violated on racial or religious grounds and not losing sight of our common humanity. The RAD does not erase the institutionalized racism caused by decades of occupation and separation, nor does it overturn  “between the lines” discrimination against indigenous Australians which though not set down in law is deeply rooted. Formalizing equality in the RAD at the very least present an obstacle to the extreme Right’s seeming ability to operate unhindered in Australian government and society, no matter how ruinous to others  their desired  claim of freedom to be bigots may be.
