Bolt accuses Shorten of doing a Bolt . Andrew Bolt never accepts the science of climate change only the scare-mongering of deniers. how ironic.
Bolt wants to have Shorten support a new study on Nuclear Energy to see if it's safe. Crying for further study is akin to asking for further research to prove the earth isn't flat. What about the need a study to show nuclear waste can be buried safely in Andrew's local park he'd support that enquiry wouldn't you Andrew. He believes in science don't you.
Abbott falls short on his promise to SA MP's who were assured of an open tender. The so called Open Tender has been revised down to a CEP "Competetive Evaluation Process" which Kevin Andrews refuse to enorse as a tender promised by Abbott. Andrews publicly refused to even define what that meant. So Abbott's changed hey!
Notice how even the Australian talks of the 'dysfunction of the Prime Minister Tony Abbott'. That Baird has managed to overcome it.
Even the Murdoch press refers to Abbott's quicksand drag. Overcoming it is far from being free of it. Bolt's gloat is a very Homer Simpson like DAH
Abbott reminds me of Geoffrey Edelston always in the news for no good reason. Both always wheeling and dealing to stay out of trouble but never successful. Both are poor liars. The difference Edelston is more colourful and seems far more popular with the girls.
Yesterday Abbott won nothing! He lost support of 40% of what he called his staunch and united team. Turnbull did nothing and Bolt is merely looking for someone to blame . Turnbull is his patsy purely because his presence challenges Abbott's seemingly god given right.
Bolt then turns on the press and Shorten who are more earthly creatures than the PM. How dare they presume that Abbott is anything like them. Even mentioning his name is an attempt to bring him to earth ...slags they are.
However Bolt winds up saying :
"If Abbott gets clear air and finds it in his soul to change, he could
indeed beat Shorten, a dangerously unconvincing alternative. Sure, I
wouldn’t bet on it. But who predicted Abbott would make PM?"
Hardly a front foot comment
If only Bolt was Australian Media Abbott would be destined for sainthood. He even says Abbott "pulled off a miracle and we now should gather about him as we would Jesus.
Bolt denies his Christianity more often than not and seems quite religious in the way he chants "Abbott is God"
Why Bolt and McCrann call each other mates, Look at Tips for Tuesday Feb 10. Then read what Bolt has cut from and pasted of Mc Cranns. Two dreaming elitists with their heads in the clouds no concern about any message only words filling the public space because they have access to and are workers on the Murdoch production line . They have moments when they can use the massive technology to feed their own egos and pretend to themselves they are better than the average Joe. In fact they are both blind with their heads up their arse.
Maybe Bolt & McCrann should look to Peter Martin in The Age and discover some economic truths rather than the the lies Corman and Hockey have been pushing. Maybe Abbott has given up on them as he says the Economy is in great shape now after he fixed it with words.
He is either trying to be funny or is thick as a brick. He's isn't funny that's for sure. However he is a man whose psyche searches for schadenfreude the pleasure he finds in the discomfort of others except members of what he fantasises to be his own class. Read the faux pain he felt for Gina yesterday when channel 9 stuck her in their allegorical lift.
