Abbott admits mistakes, shows he’s changing
The notion of Abbott changing is hilarious. Every born catholic from confirmation onwards goes to confession from a young age. The very act of confession absolves them from their wrong doings. It's a must before taking communion. Confession is not a difficult thing for Catholics. A little penance along with some meaculpas and your on your merry way to sin some more. A promise to try to change is inherent but because we're sinners it's understood if it fails. Bolt is a naive dick if he believes confession and change go hand in hand.

LIE: there was no challenge by Turnbull and nor was there a looming one. Truth: 39 people in the broader and true Liberal party voted against their leader without a challenger to be seen. Too much gloating in operatic voice by the likes of "I told you nothing " Bolt will hopefully raise that number. Fact there is a Team Abbott for now but a fractured Liberal Party and LNP. In a desperation call Bolt is trying along with Abbott to redefine what the the Liberal party is. By his definition it's an extreme party a minority and far removed from what the Australian electorate thinks it is . For Bolt it's the Golden Dawn of Australia. They shouldn't bemoan the fact that they have achieved a 43/57 rating against the Lefties because they have retained a solid base from which to move forward. Gobbles made Hitler and the party shining stars in the eyes of the Germans. Bolt can do it for Abbott and the New Libs. The stupidity is Bolt is not the puppet master he is just another puppet and both pay homage to Murdoch. Who strangely enough is beholden to an Arab who has the controlling shares in News Corp but that's another story.
As this is not stranger than fiction but the truth why does Murdoch allow his print media and in particular the Australian to run at a loss? Why does the entertainment side of his business empire subsidise his faux news? In short Influence .
Influence rides roughshod over politics and in Australia perception is more powerful than truth. News in Australia is up for grabs if public broadcasting the ABC can be privatised broken up and sold off. Perception can be monopolized and controlled for and on behalf of the 1% who control the wealth. Murdoch aligns himself with the 1% not only in Australia but the whole Anglosphere. It's why Bolt and Abbott are just pawns in a bigger game. Yes Murdoch needs Abbott for the moment as Turnbull is not that beholden to him and not as easily manipulated. Afterall he is far more Australian and with the people at heart than Abbott
