Bolt somehow feels this is good government. I guess if he thinks the Party's poll improvement is Abbott's gain despite going backwards against Turnbull ,Bishop and even Morrison we should all go to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
If Bolt was a journalist the APC would be up in arms for his fact-less reporting. However he is not. He can only be described as a Murdoch messenger with truth less than important in the message. Abbott did not make any recovery his party did. His personal rating went in reverse 19 to 39 against Turnbull. How can it be said it was his doing that brought about any recovery if he was going backwards? Logic dictates the talk of a rising Turnbull and the expectation he would be leader this week skewed the survey in the party's favour. It might accurately said that the party's recovery did nothing for Abbott only to delay the inevitable.
As far as Bolt is concerned the message and lie we needed to hear is that Abbott walked on water, created wine from water and pulled the Liberal Party closer to heaven.

believed. The Abbott government has narrowed the gap 49:51 It's the
closest the coalitions been since October last year.
However it's not all good news for
Abbott with Turnbull and Bishop both rating higher as preferred Liberal
leader. Mr Turnball has a 20% lead and Bishop 7%. Shorten is still
preferred PM 39:44%
Bolt claims Abbott has a life line.
Only a superficial reading can support this conclusion. Some believe the
rise is not because of Abbott but the anticipation of a change of
leader. Any claim that Abbott might be able to recover also overlooks
the big historical finding of today's poll. Abbott is seen to be worse
than Gillard in 2011. Todays poll sees him as less competent and less
trustworthy.
Bolt's tack on this poll is a solo
flight of imagination so much so he even Islamises his industry showing
