Is he suggesting the diagnosis and treatment is far higher and that medical practitioners have been breaking the law and falsifying evidence? Everything said is anecdotal. Arguments used back then were proved false and simply lies to justify the Intervention. Why would O'Callaghan need to refer to quotes from 2007 to make the government case in WA in 2015? Maybe because it worked for Howard back then and it will work for Abbott now?
As for Bolt's call for a discussion Bolt is calling for a media discussion. Aboriginal elders have asked a date a time and place for real discussion and consultation ever since Abbott made his announcement. Where is it? Bolt shows more venom at the burning of a building that the deaths of 150 passengers at the hands of a mentally distressed co-pilot.
Bolt's symbolic tirade abuse of Grifiths is more like the orgasms of Fr Ronald Pickering felt while molesting boys, some of whom are now dead. Bolt might as well be castigating those boys for their lack Christian forgiveness of Pickering's sins. His attitude the past is the past suck it up get on with it.

Basically what we have is a denier's rant against climate change and those who against the use of fossil fuels or nuclear energy. Bolt is doing his lobbyist rave. A week or so ago he was telling us that radiation levels at Chernobyl and Fukishima were harmless. However I doubt if we gave him a free ticket you'd see Bolt holidaying there. Lobbyists like Bolt don't need to know anything about the science all they want to do is create an element doubt. Is it strange when cigarette executives were asked if they smoked they all said "don't be stupid we are not idiots" It's what Bolt does but you will never see him put his money where his mouth is. However the Senate is what it is because the two major parties provided their preferences in such a way as to create it. The Senate is no accident the Libs traded preferences at all costs to get this result. It is not the fault of the electorate. Maybe they should have given far more thought to what would happen if they got into government in the first place. Howling after the fact is jus a distraction it hasn't stood them in good stead it's made them seem incompetent. However it's a tack Bolt continues to pursue because it shifts blame.
The inability of this government to negotiate with the Senate is a street created by them for the sake of power. The fact that it doesn't work is theirs.
Universities want a reasoned funding plan a total package they don't want a potpourri of unintegrated ideas and it's something we should all be grateful for.
