Who on earth could imagine that Bush was about to be dragged out to to confess his initiation and contribution to the current mess in the Middle East. He will try to avoid blame by criticizing Obama just as Abbott tries to avoid blame for our state of affairs by criticizing Labor. The Republicans have no policies other than to keep things as they were the power in the hands of the Saudis and Israel.

sanctions were NEVER about Iran's nuclear weapons or stopping Iran from
acquiring them. It was ALWAYS about stopping
Iran from gaining and expanding influence in the region. American power and the power of their
friends the Israelis and Saudis in the region depends on Iranians suffering and staying weak
financially. And many people will move heaven and earth to keep the
status quo.

Mcintyre was sacked for reasons not related to his job. Bad taste maybe but that is not exactly the realm of his employer. If it is heaven help the workforce. You could be sacked for your religious beliefs or lack of humour. Bolt would have been sacked long ago if personal characteristics became the job requirement.
Glenn Milne, Piers Akerman, Sattler, Smith unlike Mcintyre were all working and what they said or wrote was in their capacity as working journalists at the time. Had they been given the sack outside of their contracts I'm sure we would all have heard of it as there are unfair dismissal laws.. The question best awnsered should rather be why hasn't Bolt been given the sack? He has a conviction under section 18C, has been proven a liar,and has 3 convictions of defamation upheld against him that I'm aware of. Had he been working for anybody other than Murdoch would he still be in the industry at all?
As for Barry Spurr his sacking was a University Decision to be made according to University rules not Bolt rules run by a vigilante filled with personal bias. Furthermore made by a panel. Bolt's Notes on Free Speech were taken down very quickly I wonder why that was?

Here is the lie your Super Fund requires an income above $75,000 on $1 mill for tax to be paid. If you had an income of $80,000 or 8% your tax would be $750 or less than 1% on your $1 mill. Given that safe term deposit investments are only offering 3.1% interest anyone with 2 mill would be paying no tax. If however the majority of the middle class were aggressive investors or have financial advisers offering risky investments promising huge returns one or two might have the Ergas windfall.
Ergas is just playing with figures 5% is very reasonable and probably the average return if your lucky and safe. Bolt crosses this line on a daily basis. He endangers the life and safety of fellow citizens just by inciting hate. He also is happy to destroy lives with outrageous lies. He is the only one of all these people he accuses of vilification to have been convicted in law. Without shame he continues to do so with News Corp blessing. It has no intention of firing him as it has no intention of being a news organization.. Should that actually occur can anybody say there would be a publication that would offer Bolt a place? He has little or no other skills. News Corp is increasing it's stake in Ch10, it has interest in Foxtel which runs Sky News and Fox News oh of course there's news.com.au. I guess it makes him feel safe in as much as Murdoch's Lawyers can keep him.
