Age homage to Anzac fallen: to liken them to the Islamic State

Remember the ANZACS but not Billy Singh he was Chinese, the Indigenous, or the Indian brigade with whom Simon and his donkey served. Forget the Muslims that served. Forget the fact we stand side by side with the Turks in remembering that day. It's simply something YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM BOLT. Gallipoli and forgetting • Inside Story

You wont hear this from Bolt

"There's only one thing better than starting a new war for political self-aggrandisement and that is breathing life into an old one. Especially when no-one is alive to tell the tale."

TURKEY ADDS INSULT TO INJURY OVER ARMENIAN GENOCIDETURKEY THREATENS TO BAN AUSTRALIAN POLITICIANS FROM GALLIPOLI Turkey returns Gallipoli tickets as Hockey capitulates on Armenia: All’s not well as one would believe

What connection has Bolt to the ANZACS? He is the child of Dutch immigrants who came from Holland's most sympathetic Nazi village Aalsmere. Bolt reminded everyone he felt more Dutch than Australian throughout his life. Yet he tells us how we should behave and be patriots????

"Yet to be verified, and he could be there under duress:"

Bolt just doesn't understand.

Is it such a surprise that intelligent people want to fill  humanitarian roles on either side? Babies are neither extremist or of any particular faith. It certainly reinterprets the narrow meaning of jihad that Bolt has. He's consistently narrow give him that. I'm sure the mother of that baby was gratefull he is there.

Dan Andrews scares business so much that it finally protests

Link Restricted Murdoch.Peter the Troll

How delicate is "business" the troll makes it sound  so delicate almost virginal. Quite the opposite ofa  robust aggressive competititor operating in a 'free market' It's a timid petal that  dreamt up a side contract enabling it to sue the government and taxpayers if necessary.

How vague is Tim Piper (lobbyist) the "$6bill EastWest" has now become the " $ 7bill link". Compensation of which there was a $1payment is now $800 mill. There is no mention of the $400 mill cheque paid to the consortium by the LNP pre election for unaudited work done on a contract signed 2 weeks we voted. Andrews paid zip.The election was according to Tony Abbott a 'referendum' on the toll road and Victorians voted against it.

Business isn't hiding fearfull under any bed it screwed the taxpayers as it ne wit would. To put it bluntly business is not a group of frightened little possums Bolt's story tellers make it out to be. "He said “dozens’’ of businesses had articulated concerns to him but most were reluctant to talk publicly for fear of retribution…" What a load of

Corporations to Workers: 'We Own You'.

LNP has imported US values a history of union bashing and corporate praising.

No fatigue. The people speak: our Anzac Day matters

Link Bolt , Financial Review, BBC, Daily Telegraph, News.Com.au, ABC, Navy

What an opera this Dutchman makes of an event that the last living ANZACS saw as a tragic defeat. Only the left can say something like that is Bolt's claim. Well then the AZACS were all Left

" In bookshops, "Australian non-fiction" shelves are full of opportunistic tomes about wartime derring-do, heroes and jingoism. Suddenly, Aboriginal people who fought for the white man are fashionable, whereas those who fought against the white man in defence of their own country, Australia, are unfashionable. Indeed, they are officially non-people. The Australian War Memorial refuses to recognise their remarkable resistance to the British invasion. In a country littered with Anzac memorials, not one official memorial stands for the thousands of native Australians who fought and fell defending their homeland." Pilger

No fatigue. The people speak: our Anzac Day matters

What can one say Bolt put's on his rented uniform and medals and plays Wagner.  It's a pity the uniform is not Australian

How could the ABC’s Tony Jones let Tim Flannery get away with it?

Link Quadrant Conservative Right Wing Magazine

In in panic and desperation the conservative media are trying to distract attention away from Abbott's terrible pretense  of UWA appointing Bjorn  Lomborg as a Climate Consultant when the appointment was made by the Prime Ministers Office. The office has no qualification the make university appointments and has embarrassed itself and Abbott with it's obvious political bias. The need to save face is to denigrate the competence of Australian Science in the eyes of the world. It's really all you can expect from from a politically brain dead Prime Minister who has been told to hide from view. This is the PM Bolt says is on his way back.

Terror raids in Italy. Usual suspects rounded up. How much longer must this go on?

Links SMH, Restricted, Breitbart right wing ezine

How Bolt loves to play the reverse victimization of us the majority held to ransom by 5 people who are only suspects. The one thing he must be comforted by is that his faith - hatred his use of unlawfully using religious influence for the purpose of division is not a law here as it is in the UK. If it was he wouldn't be as outspoken or divisive. Bolt is adept at accusing Islam  of dividing Australia when in fact it is he who is doing so.

Closer to the truth is that  reasoned  thought has accused" Abbott government of talking up terrorism to distract from budget woes, and  fanning the flames of" ...division. Bolt also references Breitbart the extremist right wing online zine to make his point about the Islamic threat to Europe to reinforce the justification of division  here.

Lomborg’s critics shame themselves

Link The Age, The Guardian and Restricted

Sorry the fact is Lomborg wrote a book a decade ago that was strongly criticized and corrected for all it's false claims and poor use of data. What else has he done since then? The scientific progress in climate change has been enormous and has left Lomborg behind. Who sees him as a  prominent academic  I think that's a valid question. In academic terms he's never made it past associate professor. Adjunct is more an honorary term for a guest. What are his actual academic achievements of  any note and  not just notoriety. It seems very little.

Lomborg was not appointed by the university he's been appointed by the Abbott government that in itself is reason for controversy. The government might just see fit to appoint Andrew Bolt Adjunct Professor. Does that mean the appointment is valid on academic grounds? " Lomborg raises issues that are critically important," according to Bolt. So do a lot MPs this is hardly grounds for  academic appointment. Bolt talks as usual nonsense

“The vice-chancellor has actually said it [the centre] will be about economics, not climate change. But the response to climate change we need is about economics, and Lomborg is on record saying we don’t need action on climate change."…

If we know Lomborg's conclusion why make this gratutious appointment. It's an extremely poor political move on Abbott's part

From loser to feared. No wonder they turn to terror

The Australian doctor, who calls himself Abu Yusuf, says he travelled from his home count

Very easy to denigrate somebody when you know what it is you want to prove you merely create your argument to fit your conclusion.. It's what crooked cops do to prove people guilty as charged they fit them up. However Bolt has an easy explanation for Prakash. However he doesn't provide one for Dr Abu Yusuf.

Multiculturalism and the tribalisation of British politics

Link Murdoch's Daily Mail

"Rahman is the first person since the 19th century to be found guilty of the Victorian-era misdeed of unlawfully using religious influence"

" Mr Rahman and his supporters had accused opponents of 'dividing the community' when it was in fact they who had done so."

"This [state of affairs] is not the consequence of the racial and religious mix of the population, nor is it linked to any ascertainable pattern of social or other deprivation. It is the result of the ruthless ambition of one man"

Katie Hopkins Murdoch Sun columnist is being investigated for inciting racial hatred. If Andrew Bolt was writing his column in the UK be investigated for the above 19th Century law. He tends to do all theses thing in his activities here. It's a pity we don't have the same English laws. It would be a fantastic result for democracy
