Trump and the Republicans reflect the determination to resist any change to white privilege and power. Rather their intent is to suppress votes and cement that power and as a consequence politics dominates the Republican agenda rather than any service to the nation. maintain it. Marxism doesn't deal in dreams only economic reality something Rowen Dean and Andrew Bolt ignore. Religion, Race and all the cultural aspects like character and psyche are a consequence of free choice we as individuals make. Any notion of class and collectives determined by our material relationship to each other needs to be blurred and fought.

Marx believed history would inevitably bring about that change for the better because the contradiction in human relationships would be ironed out. Bolt can't articulate arguments as fast as Rowan Dean the trained ad man and the fastest lip in Murdoch's stable wh needs to be tag teamed with Bolt to fill what could otherwise become dead air. It's space Bolt can't fill alone and needs a partner to tag.

But if there is one, we are in so much trouble.”
