Parking with Gavin: The sour taste of hypocrisy

The LNP and their Billy Gordon dirt file - Independent Australia

The Courier Mail and Newscorp have  a track record of smear campaigns they run. What's wrong with the Courier Mail they tried it on with Billy Gordon. Also with statuary declarations found to be false. Now the Mail is smearing yet another MP on the same basis. What is wrong with Newscorp do they do the rounds looking for people to make false claims about Labour MPs in order to smear them?

Billy Gordon innocent

Peter Slipper  innocent

Craig Thomson found misused $3,500, no Brothels,no $50k++ scams some 90 charges dropped

The Weekly: Indigenous Incarceration - YouTube

Bolt's Trivia

When Indigenous have disagreements they one and all ignorants However socialist and left inspires disagreement never justice or fairness.

If a group judges have disagreements they are never for a moment seen anything  other than a group of individuals misbehaving but never a collective with a political motive. Never a group that will be charged and jailed that's for sure.

It's it's typical Aborigines in the NT are the worlds 3rd most incarcerated group per head of population. and number 80% of those in jail. In the main for $30 bag of weed, unpaid fines, and welcome back to the 1870's stealing a burger bun. All misdemeanors white people aren't even addressed for. A new $500,000 prison is being built to accommodate them.

The worst that will happen a Chief Justice will resign and everybody will be none the wiser. Life will go on. Future for Aboriginal youth the revolving door of incarceration for little more than being unemployed.

Reconciliation now means Aborigines attacking Aborigines

Funny isn't it that Bolt found himself so isolated when he couldn't find any unity in the white community for his ideas when he attacked Adam Goodes.  Neither Carlton, the AFL, the South Melbourne players, nor the media supported him. When Adam was asked for his point of view what little support Bolt had deserted him even Eddy. They rallied behind Goodes and Bolt was left standing with no clothes.

Whoever said that the Indigenous people were united on the contitution. Only Bolt in his build them up to tear them down rhetoric. However Bolt is always  on the outside looking never  asking any of the participants as to what's going on. Here he is bagging those that support his "no" position and also bagging those that say "yes". The argument is really of no importance to Bolt. He's Simon Legree  verbally mocking and assassinating blacks those "uppity" blacks.

The thing is, like Legree, Bolt's a simple character and seems very much a loner. He swaggers, has no redeeming features is remorselessly arrogant and always right and has a conscience he's trampled on for money. You can actually imagine what Bolt would have done to that stirrer Jesus back in the day. If there was no death penalty he'd have jailed him and stripped him of his passport.  Certainly no effort would have been made to ask what he was about.

If you want to know how bad racism can be  Andrew Bolt is the the middle class answer. In other words, unbelievably, horrifyingly bad. He blames indigenous culture for all their problems. In many ways he's the ignorant Christians who allowed himself to abuse these people without a soul. It's this attitude that justified the slavery and maltreatment of children Christian work houses under the guise of social welfare.

Some Indigenous don't want evolution they want revolution. The constitution isn't their primary issue no is intervention. Positive discrimination works jobs, education housing health and respect are far more immediate problems. Yes they want to be consulted and be part of their own change not just intervened in. The is one thing Simon Legree won't do is sit and listen he's too busy using his rhetorical bullwhip. It's why he is and doesn't mind being a loner the money compensates.

"Thus, the answer is to abolish all forms of slavery – not to try to "reform" it. There is no "reforming" a system that allows and perpetuates Legree’s treatment of the men and women he buys."

FIFA official: South Africa bribed me and others

Why is it so hard to grasp that money business and politics are systemically corrupt. We know Wall Street,Banks and Financial Services are. We know Billionaires and Corporations buy Politicians  Parties and business in all sorts of ways. We know Sport is is big business. Yet the media only headline it when yet another corruption scandal is there to sell  media. The amazing thing each time it happens the amounts get bigger.

Why did Sepp resign? The FBI probably said we have enough mud on you to prosecute and he took a deal. Was he blackmailed?

No, most Irish did not say yes to same-sex marriage

Those that were determined to vote in a non compulsory referendum were those that found it important to stand up and be counted. 66% voted "for" of those that found it important to vote. Would Bolt force the vote on the whole nation  or just be happy with a non compulsory referendum?  I don't think so!!

"The issue transcends party politics, and it should be resolved in a spirit of bipartisanship. This is the direction  Prime Minister Tony Abbott is attempting to take." "Tony Abbott is holding Australia back by preventing his MPs from voting for marriage equality."

So why not run a non compulsory vote?   Gay marriage catch-up

Column - Let the public vote on same-sex marriage

Link Pay Wall for Bolt & the Herald Sun

If we have a Representative  Democracy as Bolt maintains we do. If there's bipartisan support as there seems to be, why spend millions on a  public vote that on any other day Bolt says we can ill afford? Bolt's always decrying our over spending.

There doesn't appear to be a hostile senate only a hostile PM so why burn money? Perhaps it's to take away the image of Tony Abbott and a few mates standing in the corner alone not celebrating not a good look. Better a referendum showing Tony to be generous of spirit however the vote ought not be conpulsory on this issue.

Bolt's unnecessary challenge would be a demand for  a "compulsory" vote. The odds might just be more on his and Tony's side as the history referendums don't have a great deal of success in Australia. In other words the uninformed  tend to vote no. So yet again why waste the money. MP's need only consult their electorates  they should put their jobs on the line and vote for or against the trend .

Abbott’s rise catches out his critics

Link Pay Wall for Bolt & the Herald Sun

Oh dear does  Bolt have to tell us that Abbott won the day? Did party support soar despite traitors like Turnbull and Bishop. Dare Tony disappear them before the next election? How does Bolt reconcile freedom of speech and small government with the current changes to National Security.

1) Increased surveillance to this degree was rejected in the USA yesterday because it breaks their 1st and 4th amendments. Journalists, whistle blowers and citizens  can now be arrested and imprisoned at the discretion of the Minister. Peoples citizenship removed simply on the belief a second country might take them. Does this simply mean the arrangements with Cambodia or any other country will now be extended?  Any notion of " presumed innocence"  to be tested in law is now gone. In other words people can simply be disappeared in silence.

2) When surveillance of citizens and their personal data can be so scrutinized  the notion of privacy is no longer conceivable. When identity manipulation by ASIO and the AFP were common in the past what can one expect now when you  have a totalitarian state. You thought your personal details belonged to you well with the sign of a pen they no longer do.

3) Representational Democracy is dependent on transparency individuals having access to  real and varied information from a wide number of sources.  On being able to challenge elected representatives and government whenever necessary to keep them in check from overreach  as opposed to being kept in check by them. That's the core of Representative Democracy,  Being allowed to think rather than being told what to think when casting a vote.

Everything the Abbott government is doing now is taking that away. Don't get me wrong I believe Labour has been complicit in throwing principle out the door and turning this country into the most totalitarian in our history since we were a penal colony.

Sheridan: say no to racially dividing us in our Constitution

Link Pay Wall to the Australian

Greg Sheridan is a seasoned liar.

" In Australia these dynamics play out as a push for constitutional recognition for Aborigines and to create an Aboriginal consultative body within the Constitution. These are terrible ideas that strike against basic liberal principles"

Sheridan and Bolt take and distort the requested demand for change wanted in our constitution. Most Aborigines aren't asking for constitutional recognition but some recognition that there were  a people here first. This notion of First Peoples does not have any of the racial overtones Sheridan or Bolt make out.

Outside of and not within the constitution which Sheridan and Bolt also distort  is the request for a consultative body elected by Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders to act as government advisers rather than advisers selected by government as is done now. A body with no powers other than consultative.

The whole article is  total fabrication and a distortion of fact built about a false assumption that a consensus even exists among indigenous people. Sheridan and Bolt simply make things up as Paul Kelly pointed out. It really reflects how  journalism is unnecessary at Newscorp only pages filled with propaganda.
