How do you comment on cut and pastes from articles you cant read? This just becomes an unsourced blog.
However I would like to point out has there ever been as close an investigation into the business practises of any industries as there has been into workers associations or unions? Unions only 12.5% of the private sector work force. If there were no unions workers conditions would have slipped further behind than they are now and a greater % of families would find themselves unemployed,underemployed working from week to week with an inability to save. If the 457 visas are being rorted now what would it be like without the unions?
Simply put the income gap in Australia is growing and the middle class is losing ground. Private debt is the largest we have ever seen. Trickle down economics ha been proven to be false. Capitalists do not reinvest their profits into job making areas. They tend to put money into rent collecting investments or those that merely accrue capital gains over time. They do not create jobs. Proof Banks are making huge profits what job creating activity are they involved in they are cutting their work force.
The actual job creators are the working public who are the consumers and spenders that create jobs and cashflow for small business. The purchase of a $150 mill painting or a 1 mill dollar car does zip for anybody. Mining company profits go overseas where are the jobs? So get rid of the unions and an income balanced economy cutting jobs will be company sources of profit and we will be Greece. Where are the jobs Mr Abbott
The US has a 6% unionised private sector work force. It has 350:1 income gap the greatest in the western world. It has 40% of it's population unemployed or working near to and or below the poverty line. It's just had it's minimum wage raised to AUD $ 20 per hour. Wages have been going backwards since the early 80's but companies still went overseas looking for cheaper labour. Businesses means of making profit not by becoming more inventive. Yes the the IT sector has had spectacular growth but it's the exception not the rule. Abbott has been cutting back scientific grants and R&D.He's been raising the cost of tertiary education, cutting any subsidies to alternative energy sources.That does not bode well for Australia and a union less country. Which is what Abbott is trying to achieve.
