Bigotry is ignoring what others really think and misuse and distort it for their own advantage. It generally flows from those those in power to justify their position. Bolt is a fine example of a bigot. Though often a very confused one in a pretence not to be.
How limp is this government the most oppressive and incompetent in our history. It needs always to blame the opposition for it's woes rather than it's corporate masters and it's inability to negotiate.
I'm concerned Abbott is crazy enough to call a state emergency and round up this opposition. After all he's threatened everybody deemed a whislteblower with prison. They can be held without charge. More so those who declare themselves freedom fighter like Bolt in the media will support him. What we have is an Orwellian moment created by Tony Abbott
Enviromental "protest is gaming the system" and opposition needs to be stopped says Tony Abbott. The laws that prevent the government doing what it wants needs to be removed.....scary!!!

Yes imagine what could be achieved with bipartisan politics. Tony Abbott is was and will it seems an opposition politician even in government. He's incapable of negotiating with not only Labour but with members of his own party. It's why he has become so ham fisted on the marriage equality issue. However Abbott sticks to issues that are secondary to the running of a country and refuses to address the primary ones the running of the economy,jobs and growth. Democracy has been captured by the interests of Minining, Finance,Banking, and Media. To keep their jobs politicians have become beholding to them at the detriment of the people who largely make up and produce the labour force of a nation. This government runs counter to those interests let alone negotiate with them.
So what we are currently seeing is the FTA, TPP , Privatisation, Deregulation etc all being negotiated and conducted behind closed doors together with an increase on National Security and Defence and Immigration being conducted in total secrecy.

The longer Bolt's blog's are the greater buzz to distract from the core issue at hand and that issue is not the CFMEU at present. It's Dyson Heydon.
The head of the Royal Commission should prove to be spotlessly clean. Dyson Heydon has publicly admitted to being careless on two counts. Andrew Bolt admitted that carelessness yesterday. If Bolt's defence could show Judge Mordecai Bromberg was careless before handing down his verdict on Andrew Bolt are we to believe Bolt wouldn't have instructed his News Corp defence to use it to " to destroy an honest judge. " That really does strike me as sinister and serious bullshit

The advocate of "free thought" want's our immigration laws qualified to prevent further entry of Muslims. Why because their beliefs are different to ours. When specified "ours" becomes his beliefs.
Well said Andrew Bolt if it were the
case but it's not. The acclaimed intellectual Lomborg isn't an internationally
recognized academic he is a " discredited pundit" He's little better than the organ grinders
monkey nothing is being stifled here. Lomborg is in fact a person Bolt in any other circumstance hates, and economic refugee.
Abbott might gain some domestic publicity for sponsoring him but none internationally. Since he was sacked by the Danish government Lomborg still titles his organization with that country's name. However his center isn't even located there. He's in New York and is funded to the tune of $1 mill by the fossil fuel Industry namely the Koch Bros. His funding is currently due to run out. Given that his reputation is in freefall it's not likely to be renewed. So a $4 mill offer by Tony Abbott is a heaven sent gift for a man looking for a job. Why is the offer so high given his market value?
Lomborg doesn't disagree with Climate Science nor does Tony Abbott anymore. He's a political scientist whose claim to fame is a single highly discredited book and academic grading is little more than the level of a senior tutor Who Abbott want's to make Department Head. Like Carly Fiorina in the USA Lomborg discards science for a comparative economic approach to decision making by governments. Like Fiorina cost benefit analysis the only judgement call to be made in decision making And given that coal is the largest producer of energy at present globally it must be protected at all costs.
So there are no arguments Bolt can put for employing Lomborg on urgent academic grounds nobody wants him. There's no argument that he's advanced the field of academic research. He's just some lost soul living in a fish bowl being used by others for political purpose and even that's fast running out. Abbott making him a $4 mill offer has discredited Abbott already this will do even more damage and also to Flinders University. Bolt's looking for more captains's calls Oh dear!!
What's convenient here is to turn to and suggest jews are culturally prejudiced without beginning to provide the material background for this. Victimhood expressed here is the direct consequence not of just beliefs but actual state sponsored physical and material persecution of others.

Maybe the prejudice spoken of here by Bolt is just simply a reaction to State sponsored terror. Bolt misuses the term Jew as all encompassing when it's far more differentiated than that. He needs to be far more specific and say it's a reaction to the current State of Israel and not Jews. That's his hidden and unrighteous bigotry.

Bolt's always a difficult read because he's simply sloppy. Bolt starts his blog accusing Neil McMahon of patronizing himself "McMahon himself then patronises McMahon and Faust for opening their mouths, and with extra abuse:" I'm not a professional Bolt believes he is and does get paid fro this idiocy of suggesting Mc Mahon is a self abuser. Bolt was so eager to make his point he missed it altogether.
Maybe it was the fact that Bolt was thinking too far ahead and chocking on how to credit Paul Barry and Media watch. Maybe Bolt should have credited Paul Barry and the ABC for writing this blog. When he tried he immediately f@#$%d it up.

I'd like to suggest the reason Andrew Bolt posted this no comment notice is to merely suggest by innuendo it was an Islamist event.

In the so-called Deep South, bombs are a near-daily reality alongside
shootings and ambushes of security forces… There has never been a
confirmed attack by the insurgents outside the southern region despite
the years of war.
Bolt however would add this to his collection of evidence of and Islamist activity rather than simply see it as a political matter. For Bolt this is a future opportunity to say I told you so.
