Heydon was the only judge on the High Court to back the Gillard Government’s “Malaysian solution”, then hotly opposed by the Liberals:
How reckless and embarrassing would Bolt be as a defense attorney. The past is totally irrelevant to this current issue. However it show facts to Bolt are less important than favors owed . Bolt believes Heydon is owed some recompense for a failed outcome. How long would that last in a court of law? Bolt also defended as irrelevant that Heydon had sat on Abbott's Rhodes scholarship panel. If both these events are now important it would show Heydon was connected to Abbott and shouldn't be a Commissioner as he's not totally independant. Bolt can't have it both ways.
However thanks for the reminder Bolt. If Malaysian solution had been passed all those drownings you refer to constantly wouldn't have come to pass. Heydon did his best as did Labour .We know what went on to happen later 1200 people drowned thanks to the help of the Liberal Party. It just would not have occurred. Death for political advantage is not a stranger to Tony Abbott or Andrew Bolt. It is a blot on Australia's history along with the role the Liberal opposition played.

There certainly was no consensus on this and never has been. Abbott's attack on Triggs left him bruised and more damaged than Gillian Triggs. Dyson Heydon has admitted his carelessness and lack of judgement Triggs never waivered and was only accused by the baying hounds of hell Andrew Bolt etal.
Bolt yet again ducks the issue at hand merely attacks any other opinion to his including legal ones. Maybe he needs to put Dyson Heydon down just get him out of the way equally as vociferously for simply " lying about his errors of judgement." Bolt could accuse Heydon of not saying "I did it" or that it was taken out of context by the demonic left. It didn't happen. Dyson Heydon unfortunately is Bolt's major handicap in this whole event and will be ignored. Bolt bluster is the only recourse left and any logic lost.
What is happening is that the whole event has now been stolen from Dyson Heydon and he in fact no longer matters or is of any consequence. It's been thrown to the hands of the spin doctors. Unlike Triggs who always kept her station.
Here we have Bolt a minority at best among conservatives because of his extreme right wing positions on most issues. Tertiary Institions have been captured by the left, as has the Law, the Media, the Arts, Welfare, the Public Service, Labour, Health, Science is there any realm in our society except Government, ASIO, AFP Immigration, Industry and the ADF that we can trust? Is he really able to sell this paranoia to a city voted yet again the most livable. Bolt certainly doesn't think it is. What a killjoy!!

Is there something strange in this defence of tradition? When tradition predjudiced homosexuality so openly and not just verbally but with physical force and laws the voice of the victim went unheard. Now that the schoolyard bully is finally called out we turn around and say there's a danger of him being prejudiced just a possibility. The longer Bolt's blogs are the more the bluster, deflection distortion there is to avoid addressing the central point. What does the law say? All this is a simple a matter of law. Dyson Heydon admits he was careless Bolt seems to not want to accept the judge's admission. So he drowns it out with everything but the kitchen sink.
Has Heydon's carelessness made him appear biased or compromised the judge must have his own opinion on that given he is an ex careless high court judge. People came before him to give evidence like Shorten and were declared careless and suspicious for not "remembering" things that occurred years ago. That's not the case here Dyson Heydon's infraction was far more recent and in the end he's the decision maker at the Royal commission.

Lawfare is what British justice is about. It's not about opininators like Bolt heckling from the side lines it's not about party and corporate interests being fulfilled . It is about the due process and craft of law. Bolt kicked and screamed when he was found guilty he still does it today and has never stopped. He had the right to appeal he didn't why lawfare. His lawyers did not recommend it and told he'd lost. Any individual as a citizen has access to Australian Law if they can afford it. To systemically prevent that is turning our backs on the separation of government and the judicial system. Tony Abbott advocates that be the case that governments have the right to be the judge and jury. Imagine Abbott saying throwing out the decision in a murder trial and bringing back the death penalty. Just because he felt the decision was "gaming the system"

Andrew Bolt sounds as if the law counts for nothing. Is that why he has a bank of News corp lawyers protecting and advising him. If there are no laws all we have is a kangaroo court which it appears what Andrew Bolt relishes. Imagine if this was a murder trail with the death penalty a possibility Bolt would still be running the same argument if the judge was found compromised. An $80 mill Royal Commission presiding Judge has according to Bolt has merely the same status of Judge Greg Woods. Neither is Gillian Triggs who works for the UN and had released her report on Children in detention in 2013. Bolt is grabbing at straws it would seem. Had Dyson Heydon completed his duties as the Royal Commissioner there'd be no argument but he hasn't.

We have seen this country progress to an Orwellian world faster than ever imagined since this government has seized institutional power. The voice of it's citizens shackled by the introduction of whistleblower laws, the termination of citizenship and now access to the legal means of protest. The Adani Project wont succeed because of a few protestors it won't succeed because two major banks have pulled out of the project to protect their reputations.
Will Tony Abbott pass laws to force the banks to invest in this project? Abbott can't negotiate with anybody including the people he theoretically works for Australian citizens.
