Bolt's changed his tune from utter denial to "carelessness". The argument in the first place was should a careless judge with a Liberal bias be heading any Royal Commission apart from one investigating union corruption?

Andrew Bolt is so correct to declare the comparison a gross insult and the Liberal government of this country owe Gillian Triggs a deserved apology. She always kept her distance and independence. She was never caught out like Dyson Heydon. Any comparisons by Bolt are irrelevant and just the rants of a boor.
Dyson agreed to give a lecture on law to a group of liberal lawyers fact. His offer came from the head of the Liberal branch of the NSW Law Society an inconvenient truth Andrew Bolt overlooks in his very unoriginal defense of the man fact. Secondly it seems this judge didn't even consider the possible consequences of his action before accepting. That alone throws suspicion on his abilities to carry out his duties as an impartial judge. The very fact that grounds for suspicion now exist about Heydon's independence and qualifications is enough to have him removed from this Royal Commission. The commission needs to be clean and without any taint.
Bolt's opinions of Gillian Triggs are in fact irrelevant to the case and accusations as presented.
Bolt believes admissions made by ISIS and Dyson Heydon and takes them as gospel. But there's little or no belief in any citizen who questions this. Ask yourself why these statements are true or false?
