Bolt seems to have an extremely ambivalent relationship to Scott Morrison almost schizoid. I apologize for any insult to those suffering from a mental illness. Andrew Bolt has no excuse for his condition. However he's torn by his misguided love for Abbott and his sycophantic kow- towing to his boss Rupert Murdoch who has Scott Morrison on his string. We can expect Bolt to start tripping over himself to promote Morrison wherever he can to cast shadows over our PM Turnbull who will remain unconcerned and ignorant of whatever Bolt has to say. Bolt is not the rated talking head he thinks himself to be. In X factor terms he has only limited marketability.

Distortion is simplicity and simplicity is what's being served here. News Corp intends to character assassinate Malcolm Turnbull. Fact, business confidence is up and it's exactly what the small business council publicly said. So Turnbull was saying it" as it is". What logically happens when business confidence goes up does Bolt believe all indicators go backwards" It would seem so that's Bolt logic. Here is the commentator Andrew Bolt whoes known for making things up as he deems useful crying for statistical veracity. He's basically calling the Business Council of Australia liars not Malcolm Turnbull.
Joe Hockey wasn't reporting what the Business Council of Australia had said or any other representative body. Maybe he was reporting the IPA. Bolt reminds me of that Monty Python skit about the dead parrot. Abbott's the dead parrot yet he's still alive to Bolt and maybe a few in the Liberal Party. They are all singing to the tune of the dead parrot. Let's remind ourselves the parrot when alive couldn't sell his song. So as I said Bolt can't revive the dead parrot so suck it up.
What is it we are hearing here anyway? The ghost of Abbott in whom all confidence was lost. Is Bolt trying to tell us all you need is a slogan not a new team? We are certainly hearing Turnbull is not necessary and we miss you Tony in his message. We are also hearing that Sky News is not fully on board with the kill Turnbull gospel chorus.
Frightened of the Future is a great line but it doesn't apply to Shorten. Abbott spent 2 years becoming famous for stopping everything including progress and it's a great reminder of how conservatives are Frightened of the Future.

How up close and personal Bolt is with people smugglers or just up close and personal to the paywall links of News Corp? Paul Toohey is typical of Murdoch media

Cadet journalists would be in short supply if they lodged reports like this but News Corp editors seem to just love this unverified and sloppy verbal diarrhea .
News Corp seems to be offended by Peter Dutton's removal from the "Nations Peak Security Council". We saw his security skills live on National television making Abbott look the fool he is. Abbott was dumb and Dutton dumber. Dutton was too busy trying to get his joke out while Morrison was telling them both that there was an overhead boom and to shut up for god's sake.
Andrew Bolt's troll Peter BH and Bolt are trying to convince us of the man's high IQ and Border Force security skills. They ignore the reality we saw just keep on line with their message treating their readers as the fuckwits they think they are. Stop News Corp they have no respect for their readers or the truth.

Andrew Bolt is incapable of understanding that treatment of prisoners can be overly harsh despite the law bringing them to prison will not be changed. In fact one seems to wonder whether Bolt actually believes the conditions on Nauru and Manus need to be harsher. There is an element of sadism in his observations.

Character assassination was bad press if against Tony Abbott whose character we knew well. We saw it in opposition and didn't seem to change when in government. However Rupert liked him because Rupert had made him his puppet. Rupert doesn't have strings on Turnbull so character assassination is and will be the News Corp agenda. What will be interesting is to see just how much influence the News Corp drones actually wield. Can they return Scott Morrison back into the polished turd he was before he betrayed Abbott. Will Bolt try?
Will we see a detente between Turnbull and News Corp before the next election? I believe they will try to destroy his image to drive him to an early election which after all is what Rupert wants. Let's see if an election is brought forward to early next year. Will it be News Corp doing or Turnbull's decision? Will we just grow impatient with a broken party with no direction watching Rupert trying to make Scott Morrison leader?
Bolt obviously believes there's more to him than there actually is. There is little logic, often none. Universal rights and responsibility are not relative but are the property of the most dominant. It's why is Bolt so against revolution and pro repression one is progressive the other regressive.

The ABC reports it doesn't "party". Bolt is the cultural cop if people write anti- government plays or parody life it's ok as long it's not critical of those in power. It was hilarious when Gillard was the butt of media jokes but it isn't if parodies conservatives. The ABC reports what the community does. Bolt creates and invents the news our public broadcaster reports it. That's why it's trusted and News Corp isn't. Just imagine if all our media was run by News Corp. Bolt is now turning Abbott's virtue of loyalty into his weakness and is about to pour retribution on everyone who he feels betrayed him. Either Abbott is inviting him to do it or he's taking it on himself to do it which shows Abbott up to be piss weak. "The nerve, to bitch about being sacked (belatedly) for these self-indulgent rorts,". This is no doubt more about not having saved the lame duck and revenge than it is about politics. Character assassination is what bolt complained of yesterday but it's what he does best it's rarely about politics.

Here we have Bolt throwing away princples for short term pragmatism. Suddenly he's mounting an argument that we should have stopped the civil war some six years ago by not becoming allies of people rebelling against a dictator. Is Bolt ready to accept Putin was right? Two years ago we were assisting rebels in a revolution until they became ISIS. We turned a blind eye to tha fact that this civil war was displacing 14million people 4-5 million seeking refuge outside Syria. Bolt in fact declares them to be illegal and just economic refugees. Now he wants us to not step back but support Assad and bomb into oblivion those we helped create. We did it in Libya. We did it in Afghanistan. We did it in Iraq. However it's now time to change sides and throw principles overboard. You can never trust the USA but you can trust Republicans even less. Stop the selling of arms and weapons and allow politics to take their natural course. What has Australia to gain we participate in war for no gain but won't participate in renewable energy with everything to gain.

If a Royal Commission were held into the nature of Business in Australia instead of just the CFMEU just how much shredding of documents does Bolt think would occur? We have a criminal law system if given $63 mill to investigate white collar crime in both unions and business how many unionists compared with business people would be charged. When business corruption is brought to light we don't hear Bolt ranting against business practices only when it happens in the unions and in this case only one union the CFMEU.
Middle class & corporate fraud doesn't get the treatment and attention that fraud by a member of a union. Damien Mantach isn't given the treatment Peter Slipper got or Bronwyn was allowed to get away with. Why don't the banks get as much attention given the scandles the ANZ and the CBA generated? Volkswagen has been caught out internationally and fined some $37 bill has anybody been arrested? The difference is by and large this Royal commission has been generated simply by political motivation and that's what this inquiry is energized by. To argue over the details is to ignore it's true purpose smear one union and you can smear them all and anyone associated with them. Isn't it time the reverse took place or $63 million be given to improving the fraud squad to tackle crime across the board even in political parties of all persuasions.

It seems to me that the Greatest nation on the planet is fast becoming a basket case. The USA can't feed it's people over 40% are living below the poverty line. Yet the those that arent are throwing out 40% of their food as waste. Super markets are throwing out food as waste. There is no space to put the rubbish. There are an ever increasing number of homeless yet houses have been left vacant owned by banks. Hospitals are turning away people to due to lack of insurance to pay.
The infrastructure of the country is fast becoming next to useless. Yet with so much poverty billions are being spent on finding suitable candidates to run for president. It's what we all have been sold in the last 100 years as the great American dream is still being sold to us daily on TV and all media sources that commercial nirvana is achievable for everybody yet the middle class is shrinking and slipping below the poverty line. The fastest growing industry in the US has become the industrial prison complex which needs more and more people to make a profit. People are being fined and jailed for not being able to pay these fines for parking or even jaywalking.
That's the dream the myth of 'freedom' that Blair and Bolt advocate needs fighting for as opposed to Cuba who have suffered a trade embargo forced on them by the US for 50 years. They the poor souls who suffer the poverty of socialism enforced on them by the USA only have universal health, education, which they export and basic social welfare. They don't have the polished consumer goods of the west but then they don't throw anything away and as such don't suffer the pollution Bolt and Blair dream about and everyone is fed and housed. Their art is hung in public galleries their music live and affordable to everyone. Their operas and the ballets are publicly owned unlike their art and the theaters full. Bolt ofcourse dreams of a house big enough to hang his private collection on unshared walls. Cuba's doesn't have the drug and alcohol problems, their prisons aren't an industry and certainly aren't growing as fast as free america. Freedom just another word for nothing left to lose.
Blair and Bolt have a lot. Their true characters would be seen if they were required to share what they have gained from their totally unproductive and uncessary work.
