Amazing How Andrew Bolt never mentions the ex Nazis actually given sanctuary in Australia along with ex Stasi and other persons. How is it Bolt's were accepted as migrants coming from Aalsmere the most famous village in Holland for it's support of the Nazis. Rather than praising the Italian Customs and Immigration for identifying a person to be a known terrorist Bolt does the reverse. He sets about accusing them for not being even more vigilant and identifying his ghostly others. He extrapolates then to Australia and our obvious lack of diligence for not finding his imaginary terrorists here. One thing is for sure Australia would be a better place without the likes of Andrew Bolt.

First could Andrew Bolt inform us of the location of the country called Hindu that his informant speaks of?
Secondly the contradiction that stands out is that what Bolt calls persecution is more often than not "assimilation" something for which Andrew Bolt is a staunch advocate. So if the Christians of Goa India have been returning to their Hindu faith since the 1960s that's bad but if the Hindus of the UK are converting to Christianity that's bad. If Indigenous Australian children were stolen from their parents by the Christian Church in the guise of social welfare and raised as Christians and not as Pantheists that's good.
With Christianity came Capitalism and the commodification of everything particularly human beings and their labor. Slavery became a business under Christianity. A business so brutal and one never seen on such a grand scale as Christianity made it. That was the freedom it assured the the British slave owners, mine owners and factory owners around the world that gave rise to Bolt's evil Trade unions and revolutions around the world. Revolutions that emancipated workers and drove religion of any sort from their lives.

Are we to believe there is supposed to be a party room leak to show Bolt has an ear to the inner sanctum . I don't believe so. If so it's a pretty pathetic ear. We are told 3 conservatives spoke up in an open debate which hardly constitutes an inner sanctum revelation.
Turnbull saying he wants to promote economic growth when the reserve bank is saying the economy is shrinking is not a contradiction or anything to accuse him of. Wanting to promote economic growth no matter what is occurring in reality seems an admirable ambition to any one but Bolt. Does he really know what he's saying?

Bolt is so uncertain of his own response to economics he turns to McCrann who more often than not has proven himself to be so off topic when it comes to economics. Bolt doesn't have to many friends to turn to. Turnbull does however have the responsibility of revealing Abbott's failures and lies and not to just cover them up.
Jakes’s speech: Live, live for the now

Andrew Bolt can only see fit to honour the one or two lines of individualism expressed in a speech that was 18 minutes long and devoted not to the "me" but to the "we" of the "school" which has been there a very long time and was never a short term project. Bolt overlooks the notion of "live for the now" being in the context of the values learned at the school not just purely individualistic ones. Jake hasn't just become Jake Bailey he's become one of the Old Boys Bolt. You have missed his point entirely.
Is it any surprise Andrew Bolt draws from Jakes speech the most individualistic comments in a speech that honors the collective " the school" as bigger and greater than any one individual. That the values of the school will outlast the short lives of any of the individuals that attended the school. The values Jake expresses are the values of the whole, a society Andrew Bolt, the collective and in this case the school. Jake isn't talking about any self interested group in the school there is no them and us in his his school yet he accepts the Asians, Muslims, Immigrants, Aussies Gays as one which is more than you would.
Congratulations Jake for being so anti-Andrew Bolt.
A low standard Labor accepts
Amazing Bill Shorten has been declared completely innocent after weeks on end of Andrew Bolt declaring him guilty and as far as that event Andrew Bolt has no longer anything to say. I will say it for him. Andrew Bolt you were totally wrong and the Royal commission thought so to.
So given so few people will be caught up in Bolt's accusations of crime and illegal behaviour which will have cost us $80 + mill why isn't Andrew Bolt arguing about the lack of cost benefit of the whole excercise? Kathy Jackson was to be Tony Abbott's Joan d Arc a saint to bring down the unions. Only to reveal she was a desperate pawn trying to save her own skin who whispered sweet nothings in Tony's ear.

I'm sorry revisiting and old argument that the Liberal's lost after Labour won power has no validity now as it did then. The Liberal Party signed contracts in a slash and burn tactic to cripple Labor in an election they knew couldn't be won. Tony Abbott participated by simply withholding promised funds to Victoria.
What needs investigation is all the plans Matthew Guy ticked off at Fishermans Bend that allowed Liberal mates to make huge profits plans signed off in areas without any accompanying infra structure. That seems more an activity of questionable motivation. Similar to one that was deemed secret that needed to be compensated at Ventnor on Philip Island.

There's a lot of speaking going on here all legitimate. But action speaks louder than words. What has Mernard done as Mayor of France's largest city under far-right control? Nobody says not even Tim Blair. Their attitudes however reflect their values which have little to recommend them. They have little to do with those expressed by the French Revolution. Liberty, Equality and Fraternity which one might argue were the best qualities of France. Values anti to Tim Blair's snobbery.

Repetition, Repetition, Bolt's voice may be the loudest. It needs no facts are required, scenarios become his notion of scientific prediction, logic and debate become unnecessary when your a deperate bully with a bullhorn who cares as long as your the loudest.
Robyn Williams of the ABC Science Show is perfectly correct and Andrew Bolt his perfect example as to why deniers are simply hecklers not worthy of any respect .
No point to Paris
Disparaging Paris seems the Conservative agenda. It seems to be the overriding factor to disparage Paris before it has even taken place. There is never any argument really about the fact that there is severe man made pollution and it's brought about by the way we produces energy through fossil fuels and in particular coal. History has always shown us what a dirty business fossil fuels have always been. Little conversation is given to the health effects of mining coal and that cost has never really been discussed. No "coal is good for humanity" are the slogans we here from those whose hands claim to be clean. It alleviates poverty because it provides jobs. Has Bolt really ever discussed the Indian coal mines and it's work force? Half a days current spending on war can eliminate world poverty. The argument about needing coal to eliminate poverty just doesn't carry.
When 60% of Americans have slid to on and below the poverty line because they have lost the jobs due to the divestment in coal doesn't wash either. When over 80% of the world's population are living on less than $4 a day and we are able to budget for war at the rate we do. Any argument that coal is good for humanity makes no sense because that war budget can only be heavily financed from resources profits and coal is a major one. So in truth "coal is good for war" not humanity which is more to the point if 1 days expenditure can eliminate poverty. How much would the elimination of war reduce the costs of energy?
Paris is just a city what's agreed upon there whether it works or not will be an on going process. Let's hope clean energy is a goal and remains such. Clean energy and it's possible benefits for humanity as opposed to maintaining dirty energy for profit of some is of no doubt.

Bolt calls himself a "sceptic" generally regarded as a man of science and not just faith. Where on earth has Bolt acquired this knowledge or his method to begin to declare himself a man of science and not just faith and self interest? Bolt is little more than a commentator an advocate who spreads a deniers rhetoric rather than any scientific argument of his own. He avoids denying scientific methods outright because history has shown how well science has in fact served us. He seems to regard Climate Science as non science a ficticious faith but he avoids attacking NASA and NOAA and organizations of high repute because he lacks credibility when put next to them. Bolt has no problem however disparaging individuals and other advocates even if they are so more highly qualified and better intended than he is.
Bolt's use of the word sceptic" a person who denies the possibility of knowledge, or even rational belief, in some sphere." He is simply a denier who has no intention of moving forward. He's one who avoids the change due to the accumulation of knew knowledge and the scientific process. He prefers the old tried and true denials of the past. Growth is not part of Bolt's inquiry unless it spells denial. Denial is his end point when in fact for science it's always the new beginning the driving force forward.

One question that needs to be asked does Andrew Bolt know what's going on in detention centers? So is he standing as a witness here to the veracity of his a seeming unidentified whistle blower or just supporting an unverifiable argument that suits him.Andrew Bolt prefers is information from unverifiable sources as long as they present a story that supports his interests. He never argues for the need of transparency that's too left. We don't have the right to know and judge the truth for ourselves. Sarah Hanson Young on the other hand remains far far more believable because we know who she is. She's not just talking from the shadows.
Greens choose a bird’s comfort above humans
The hypocrisy of Andrew Bolt has no bounds. He is one of the loudest advocates for cutting Social Welfare and any aid to the poor and other welfare recipients. Yet here he is tongue in cheek arguing that coal help the poor by raising taxes to pay for their Welfare which he wants to cut. It seems Bolt is fighting for and supporting a Carbon Tax? He will say anything for his unprincipled need to win.
One thing is for sure the ecological biodiversity that still exists on this planet is of no concern to him. As far as Bolt is concerned we have zoos and botanical gardens that do that job. We should be able to just dig up the planet. We aren't talking of one bird here we are talking about the blind extinction of 60% of the worlds flora and fauna in the chase for not survival but profit.
Profit that has left a trail of irresponsible destruction and pollution in it's wake that in only in recent times have we sat up and taken notice of. It's always been just one more village, one tribe, one more peoples, one river, one forest, all to be destroyed. Any principle that encourages environmental protection that needs to be looked at is just an unnecessary roadblock in the way.

Bolt never suggests that Corporate boards to be constituted so that all parties concerned might have a say in these major projects and members should not just those focused on the bottom line. Lawfare may be the last resort open to groups in a democratic society who have an interest but are locked out of company boardrooms. Germany is just one example of a country that manages to do both. It's Company structures ensure wider interest groups do have a say in the decision making processes and they seem to operate very successfully around the world. Lawfare is an attempt to silence and disparage any attempt at any legal defence to get rid of it is an excuse to call in the troops if deemed necessary. To protect the interests of only one side in this case Adani's.
Defy these hypocrites
Bolt is one man. He cries out and encourages us to turn our backs on the rest of the world a world made up of very different sovereign states.We are a world of differences according to Bolt and as such we should isolate ourselves from those differences and go it alone. Like all dictatorships and one party states do. Isn't that what South Africa did?
As far as Bolt is concerned borders are sacrosanct except when it comes to Transnational Corporations and the control of Capital, Labour Supply Demand and big business. Governments should be small and support the free market. Corporations should be allowed to have their head. Australia it's history began with the colonial invasion and it's only error since then has been it's misguided immigration policies the foregoing of forced assimilation of indigenous Australians multiculturalism and the growth of government. Any notion above and beyond the individual like society and natural rights is regressive. Mind you we are duty bound to chase and protect our interests as the evolve.
