Andrew Bolt's Blog 3/4/16; Turnbull isn't riding on Abbott's policies they both are riding on the IPA's ideas; Ideas attributed to Abbott weren't his; Stop spending and you will shrink; Stop the Bull shit;

Live your life

But not if it's Hep C  Bolt selects the illnesses worthwhile supporting too. Is there anything he doesn't stick his nose into? It's a bit like the Hunger Games.

Just the football Please,    Bolt's Boy's the UPF were at it on Saturday taking the message to the AFL in front of 75,000 Australians. It's ok at a gathering of 2000 Aussie families with their children in tow but not at a game of footy. Which activity is un Australian and in bad taste that of the UPF, Reclaim Australia and the public expression of hate. Provacation is provacation and fire brands like Bolt should be brought to account for encouraging it.

What is it with the Left and violence?

I don't know but Bolt's boys were at the Collingwood Richmond game  who were the provocateurs in that situation the UPF looking to advertise their cause.. The UPF and  the Reclaim Australia attended and Australian family day gathering to provoke a confrontation and get publicity and they got what they wanted. Bolt says nothing about the families and children in attendance.  Like the right wing protesters he doesn't give a shit about them. Children are absolutely of no concern to him whatsoever.

Halal food is an offence to him and it seems they deserved everything they got It seems it was their actions that provoked Reclaim Australia an the UPF. "  Witnesses seem in little doubt who started the violence:" as reported by the Herald Sun of course.  Australia isn't divided but Bolt is happy to make it seem that way but fortunately not many agree . Bolt is the one singling out those who aren't Australians at a food festival. What is the difference between Halal and Kosher had it been  a Kosher festival what would Bolt have said? The truth  of what did occur is ignored by Bolt but not by all. However Bolt the media man has the power but does not tell the true story as witnessed.  “I can see people from all sorts of ethnic backgrounds here — it is a family event, and it is very harmonious. There has been no incident inside.”

Picture below is what Bolt would like to have seen happen  to those attending the  halal festival. Arrested for insubordination for participating in an un -Australian activities and provoking a riot by offending the true blue UPF. It's what happened to the Jews, Gypsies, Rohingya, and asylum seekers etc they just get sent away by the the extremists and colonisers of the World like Andrew Bolt. Then history is rewritten to justify these actions to the younger generation.

Australian History Bolt does not want told. This is invasion not settlement.

Australians overwhelmingly want Tony Abbott to quit Parliament: poll

Australia Institute figures Bolt calls "suspect" he prefers the News Corp commissioned  Newspoll reports. However they all say the electorate wants him to go!! What is funny though is 'The institute has been largely funded by the Poola Foundation and the Treepot Foundation - philanthropic organisations run by the Kantors, an offshoot of Rupert Murdoch's family.

They just came up with results Bolt can't digest.

66% want him to pull the pin . 70.5% Coalition voters agree "Tony Abbott will never be PM again" Only 5.6% believe he's trying to help Warringah. 49% of coalition voters believe he's angling to be PM again and more than half want him to go. Across all demographics the electorate wants him gone.

Australian Think Tanks

Bolt's job has been made harder over the years by the increasing presence of IPA ideas present in the media. They no longer appear to be his thought bubbles

Conservative think tanks have played a central yet largely unexamined role in the corporate battle against environmental policies and reforms. Think tanks are generally private, tax-exempt research institutes which present themselves as providing impartial disinterested expertise. However they are generally partisan, politically or ideologically motivated, and practise the art of 'directed conclusions', tailoring their studies to suit their clients or donors.
In recent times a number of think tanks have become more openly ideological. These conservative think tanks aim to influence government and set the agenda in a variety of policy arenas, including environmental policy. To be effective they insinuate themselves into the networks of people who are influential in particular areas of policy. They do this by organising conferences, seminars and workshops and by publishing books, briefing papers, journals and media releases. They liaise with bureaucrats, consultants, interest groups and lobbyists. They seek to provide advice directly to the government officials in policy networks and to government agencies and committees.
Think tanks often employ former government officials and politicians as this gives them influence in government and credibility in the media and provides their donors with access to and influence in the policy-making process.
Another prominent Australian conservative think tank, and the oldest, is the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA). The IPA describes itself as 'a political organisation in the sense that it influences the political agenda' but claims that it 'avoids political-party partisanship'. It stands for, among other things, 'less regulation and smaller government generally' and 'rational economic policies'.
Almost one third of IPA's $1.5 million annual budget comes from mining and manufacturing companies. It has 700 corporate members and 3000 individual members, some of whom are subscribers to its various publications. Its council has included Murdoch as well as other conservative business leaders. Like many of the US conservative think tanks, the IPA has good connections in the media via right-wing commentators with regular columns in major newspapers. It also has good political connections. Its staff includes former senior public officials and former politicians. John Stone, a former Secretary of the Treasury, is a consultant to the IPA and Dame Leonie Kramer, Chancellor of the University of Sydney, has headed one of the IPA's units. The IPA's current units are on Deregulation, Economic Policy, Indigenous Issues and Environmental Policy.
A number of Australian think tanks are modelled on US think tanks and have close ties with some of them, including the Heritage Foundation, the Cato Institute and the American Enterprise Institute. The Institute of Public Policy, now amalgamated with the IPA, modelled itself on the Heritage Foundation as well as the British IEA. The Committee for Economic Development in Australia (CEDA) was originally modelled on the US Committee for Economic Development and in 1984 it made a conscious decision to move towards an American Enterprise Institute (AEI) model.

The Insidious Invasion of the IPA into Australian Politics, or Public Apathy and 75 Ideas to Make You Shudder.
The Institute of Public Affairs is a free market right-wing think tank that is funded by some of Australia’s major companies and is closely aligned to the Liberal Party.
In April 2013 it held its 70th Birthday Bash with Rupert Murdoch as its keynote speaker. Andrew Bolt was the Master of Ceremonies. Special guests included Gina Rinehart, Cardinal George Pell and many other conservative luminaries. A special address by then opposition leader Tony Abbott was a highlight.
The IPA put forward 75 proposals for a future Abbott government to consider. They were accompanied by an article titled: ‘Be like Gough: 75 radical ideas to transform Australia’ and attributed to John Roskam, Chris Berg and James Paterson.

Who runs our government?  Bolt claims Turnbull is riding on the back of Abbott's policies sorry Abbott rode on the back of the IPA's policy ideas.

Turnbull finds excuse among the tax humiliation

This  obviously is not a Bolt thought bubble because it's too long and required some work. Surprise it's from Bolt's reader troll Peter BH.  Who wrangled in the usual media suspects to slime and laugh at Turnbull's idea of getting the states to raise income tax. Strange if you look at the list above it's really the IPA's idea. It's where all of Abbott's ideas came from. You know the ones Bolt and etal claim were Abbott's on which Turnbull is riding on. It seems none were Abbott's even stopping the boats wasn't his idea.

What happened to our spending problem?

Peter BH the unsung hero or supposedly unpaid hero filling in for Bolt again turning to Piers Akerman for help. How is it that  growth the latest figures tell us that growth is happening yet these guys are talking as if it isn't. Don't you feel that we are riding the Abbott message before he was elected and immediately after that the "sky is falling in" Abbott's disaster scenario which when was it was no longer believed was "suddenly fixed". We don't know how but we were told it was. Get ready for the same doom and gloom scenario to come. We still remained one of the few countries with a AAA rating which it seems these guys would like to see dropped for their political benefit only. Business knows you need to spend money to make money. Don't and you will stay small in both growth and mind.

The Refugee Action Collective will praise the Liberals now, right?

"For the first time in a decade, every child locked up in Australian detention centres has been freed." Sorry taking no responsibility for Manus and Nauru are we? Stop the bullshit. Labour was well on the way to stopping boats. Remember the Malaysia Solution why did Abbott stop that? Because he didn't want to stop the boats.

"
The government has reclassified sections of detention centres as “community detention” in order to be able to claim that all children have been released from immigration detention.
The immigration minister, Peter Dutton, announced on Sunday there were no children left in detention, but a source within his department told the Guardian the “release” was “more bureaucratic sleight of hand than emancipation”.
As an example, families with children in “held detention” in the family compound of Villawood detention centre were told by letter on Friday that their detention was now classified “community detention”.
They have been “released” from detention without moving."

Just too much Trump to swallow

Surprise surprise Bolt is admiting he walks on this earth like the rest of us. However if Australians could choose Abbott for PM why might not the Americans choose Trump  for President.  They are both bullies, liars, self interested wreckers. The difference Abbott's had more years of practice. He's also too much to swallow. He seems to be sitting on the lap of the IPA when he opens his mouth.
