Had Swan not done that we'd be still suffering it's effects 8 years later like most countries still are. In 96 we had a deficit of $35 Billion back then that was almost $70 bill in today's terms. China saved us but Howard spent the boom year profits and yes he cut taxes to buy and election which failed. Bolt really never tells you that it's only been Labor who have made real cuts to spending in the past 30 years.

"What is the moral difference between a kidnapper and the people who paid him?" This doesn't make sense unless Bolt is suggesting Ch 9 should never have paid the father leaving everyone to languish in jail.  But the he would do that.  Bolt really used Whittington's mother as product for his show when he feigned sympathy  for her . She certainly contradicted Bolt's use of the term "kidnapper" as did his mate Henderson. But  the mother was not there for sympathy only   ratings. That really showed what Bolt is a news manipulator.

Column - Can Turnbull trust treacherous France with our submarines?

How naive are these guys? War is business. Didn't Bolt mention our troops are facing American weapons in the Middle East and that Americans simply say nothing about how ISIS got them other than We don't know. Didn't we all  notice the fleets of Japanese vehicles ISIS is using in  their war against us and our allies? This sort of stupidity in arguing against the fickle French is fatuous and hollow. 

 However the Americans just did the biggest arms deal in history with the Saudis our allies who  are financing those Islamists we call the enemy and we know it. These holier than thou arguments are delusional and are intended to undermine our current and legitimate Turnbull government for what a short term gain and personal interest of the IPA and it's members.  They need Abbott back to fulfill their interests corporate and otherwise but not necessarily Australia's.

 

 

 

 

Buying subs from the fickle French is a huge and expensive gamble

" France is not considered a trusted military partner by any member of the “five eyes” Western alliance – encompassing Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US and the UK… 

Is this alliance a recognized alliance like NATO FUKUS etc? Who called it called 5 eyes? I think the UK has a much worse history of using Australia in times of war and not backing us up. We remember Gallipoli for our dead yes but not the decisions made that sent us there in the first place.  Where were the Brits at the fall of Singapore? There seems to me to be a major flaw in this  argument about the treacherous French and the costs to this nation. Why has Abbott spent huge money on monuments in France? They are overlooked costs Bolt says nothing about.

Abbott committed us to our dud  NBN a patchwork of second hand parts that are rusting as we speak.  Bit's and slapped together by Abbott for more than the proposed new state of the art system offered by Labor. It has cost $50 bill and needs replacing before it's up and running. It's the heart of the country's communication network It will be of no use for National Security in case of a cyber war. So it seems without talking about an integrated defense system the whole argument about subs is merely a political side track. 

Remember when Abbott was named Pillock of the Pacific he ignored the Pacific altogether and preferred shaping up to Putin in the Ukraine. He even tried to have us become an associate member of NATO and he took us to the Middle East. Whose was seen as fickle then? We have signed to sell the infrastructure and port in Darwin to the Chinese the US was pissed that we are so fickle with our region. I doubt if the Japanese would have been too happy with that move either.

 

 

 

Greens voters desert multicultural schools

Princess Hill  primary is in Carlton Bolt and not a "few suburbs away", Clifton Hill primary is just across the road from Nth Fitzroy and has always had an intake of Nth Fitzroy kids. Nothing has changed over the past 50 years  to draw Bolt's attention attention to what he says is a new phenomenon. Fitzroy Secondary was closed for years by Kennett that alone forced parents to seek alternatives. So this does seem and extraordinary beat up why would that be? 

It's blogs like Bolt's that amplifies a racist element in Australia.  Daniel in the photo below was never really an exception in the past but he is now why? The kids are Muslim and black In days gone by they were filled wit kids of other nationalities because the commission housing has been there since the 60s.   Uni High is also an example of Bolt bull, it's been a competitive entry school like Melbourne High for as long as I can remember and has nothing to do with whether someones a migrant or not. 

 Princess Hill Primary has always been a magnet for over 50 years it may have something to do with the housing commission but nothing at all to do with Sudanese and Muslims. In fact it's also in a commission zone as well. Certain schools have always been first preference schools even before migrants arrived. It's been that way for over 50 years. 

Bolt however suggests would like us to think there is something new going on and it's because kids are Muslim and black. However it's not.  Since these areas have become gentrified with the wealthier Middle Class moving in like Bolt the implicit relaxed racism that exists in  Australian  has possibly been revealing itself. Bolt however  is intent on making it explicit and blaming migrants for it. How desperate is Bolt he's Advertising the Bolt Report again and again.  Last week he declared he never advertises it. He promised scoops but supplies  the same old same old. He hides real news such as Michael Kroger telling Tony Abbott to pull his head in or leave the Party. He needs Kroger so shuts up.  He advertises daily desperate to get guests on his show. When they don't bite he slags them off. Will the unmade bed be on of course he will Rowan Dean, Gerard Henderson etc etc will be on repetitively. Will Bolt ever appear natural or just continue to be a a bad performer? He's certainly surrounds himself with people that look and respond without the strings showing. Bolt can't seem to accomplish that. Can't wait for the ratings and his "honeymoon" month over. Can you imagine Latham and Bolt together if they weren't paid?

How many ways and times can Bolt tell us to vote Labor? The Liberals under Turnbull are losing because they have a bunch of disarrayed policies  and don't have the team to sell them. Vote Labor  seriously  they have shown when in government over the past 30 years they have been better money managers and have had the interests of all Australians at heart not just a select few. Look at Victoria it's in dare I say the word "in surplus."

Here is Bolt all ego and arrogance telling the LNP if they want to win they must first come begging to him ,why? Because he has a show. If this were true  we really do need the ABC and need to fight for it.

PR men aren't brave they are paid advocates  selling ideas that are more often than not so ridiculous they don't believe in them themselves. Goebbels did it  with the full belief he could sell ideas not ones he even believed in. Ideas to influence rather than  any that held truth. Does Bolt really consider himself a Peter Lalor like figure calling the bulk of Australians sheeples. How ist it he can show so little respect to this country and allowed to get away with it? Because nobody listens.

Column - Can Turnbull trust treacherous France with our submarines?

It's disturbing playing make believe chess in Cloud Cuckoo Land isn't it as Andrew Bolt owns the territory.  Japan actually did bomb us France didn't Japan did try to invade us France didn't and Bolt is playing what if with history. We have no mutual war memorials shared by Japan and Australia. Tony Abbott has spent money and promises of more in France. Not a word in protest by Bolt.

 As for Vietnam France was doing us a favor if they were holding back parts intentionally. We were losing  war the moment we entered it.  A war built on the false premises of Conservatives like Bolt liars who brought in National Service and sent our kids to die for no real purpose. Kids we now march for on ANZAC day. Bolt certainly wouldn't have sacrificed any of his boys that's for sure. Who were the real Quizzlings  back then  Not the French then but the  Conservatives with their alarmist theories anti communist propaganda that assisted in the killing of 1mill Indonesians and the destruction of family lives in Vietnam. Bolt's heroes have  sent us to unwinnable wars in Vietnam , Afghanistan, Iraq and now Syria all for the sake of politics. Lest we forget it is always Conservatives who celebrate ANZAC day to cover up their insane decisions that took us to these wars.

50 Subs France and Japan are reminders of how these arseholes like Bolt use threat to enhance their politics but do nothing for Australian families. If Australia was at war Bolt would move the the Netherlands with their higher taxes.
