Andrew Bolt's Blog, 22/7/16; Cause, correlation and fantasy play a role in Bolt's ratbag business;

Bolt with this blog proves he's. Gone is his belief we are a secular society all to be treated equally until the facts become evident. If Bolt is an example then we are far from being just or fair. Bolt is closer to being a grand master of the KKK or running  the Goebellian news on his fantasied activities on Jews

 

Watch Bolt throw some statistics together in an attempt to influence public thought that a correlation exists between Muslims and an incident in Merrylands. He throw some stats together like dirty underwear that have no reflection on any religion as there is no evidence that the census information reflects people who actually practice it. Whatever the reality there is no causal connection displayed by Bolt merely innuendo of his own making. Even if there was a correlation no generalization would be possible from such a single case. It's simply Bolt squirming in the mud of his mind trying to find grounds for vilification of a religion.

 Barneby Joyce hit the nail on the head when he said there are cranks and ratbags among all of us and in the media. Andrew Bolt is a standout ratbag and crank.  I'm not tarring the media with a Bolt brush as we do have an ethical ABC.
