McCrann on the end of the great climate madness
Terry McCrann: "the only course forward to
sanity and reality is for the government to abandon the 26-28 per cent
and renounce Paris." Too true.
This about as great a blogger as Andrew Bolt is. He links you to seemingly recommended articles he deems important no he links you to a News Corp Paywall. That in it self shows you who he is a barely qualified paperboy but a fully qualified pimp for Murdoch.
Tim Blair and Andrew Bolt you pick
The third reason Photios should quit Libs: his wife
There is now a third reason to wonder why
on earth the Liberals let professional lobbyist Michael Photios dominate
the pre-selection of Liberal candidates in NSW. Now his wife has
noisily quit the party, claiming it isn't doing enough to "stop" global
warming.
Andrew Bolt's such a family man isn't he? He hates the husband and is ready to kick the wife heaven help the kids and the dog. That's the 6'+ Dutchman for you a bovver boy who doesn't often show his face in public. He endangers his own family by working from home but he stays well in the shadows. Bolt has made no mention of Mike Baird NSW Premier who also recently said not enough was being done to combat Climate Change. In fact Baird suggested that the idea of a Carbon Intensity Scheme might be worth looking at for NSW. However Canberra should lead the way. Bolt left Baird alone only to put the boot into Julia Baird his sister who is rumoured to have Cancer. That's Andrew Bolt for you a role model for being Australian.
So that would make 4 premiers suggesting that the experts ought to be listened to and what they have said is worth examination. Andrew Bolt certainly never mentions the experts he prefers taking on wives. He's a center stage player is Andrew Bolt so backed into his right wing corner everybody and anybody in front of him must be left.
Paul Kelly's confused admission: Turnbull did have a secret carbon tax
Paul Kelly, clearly briefed by Malcolm
Turnbull, winds up deeply confused. Kelly says we wicked people of the
"far Right" have spread a "fantasy" that Turnbull tried to secretly
bring in a kind of carbon tax. But in the next breath he says the
mistake that Josh Frydenberg made was to expose that plan and kill it
off. Which is it, Paul? Malcolm?
Kelly, Savva and Albrectsen all work or worked for Murdoch. All have said Turnbull is ok. However Andrew Bolt has fits of hatred for Kelly and Savva and praises Janet. It make no sense and explains why Bolt's all rhetoric and no substance.
For Bolt this all about rhetoric and trying to avoid the real issue by simply playing with vacuous fantasy. Turnbull needs to ask how are we to achieve the the Carbon emission targets we promised and agreed to internationally by 2030 and 2050. The question is are we up to our word and what is the best possible way to achieve these targets? Do you listen to experts or just make it up as you go along to ensure self interest is satisfied. All the experts both scientists and economists have pointed to the Carbon Intensity scheme. Politicians have pointed against the best option without logical explanation.
