The crime wave in Victoria by people of
African descent has been astonishing, with the latest victim a young
women who was stopped while cycling and carved up by three Africans. I
have repeatedly asked of the crime-plagued Sudanese in particular: who
let them in? And now we know.
"In the 2006 census, there were 19,049 Sudanese-born Australian residents, making up 0.1% of the population. Many of the Sudanese-born people recorded in the 2006 Australian census had arrived very recently: 77% since 2000." ABS That's 0.1% of Aussies.
Let's face it; Bolt's stats are skewed. He randomly talks about first and second generation migrants but then pulls stats for adults a subset that has nothing to do with what he's talking about kids. If he added the 20,000 Sudanese born here or all the Sudanese in Australia his argument that Sudanese are unintegrated would fall on it's face and would look less than mediocre. The issue is they don't read Bolt and don't have the time to answer this media racists complaints. Cherry picking his statistics is what Bolt does for Climate Change in the same way as he does his stats on Aborigines and single mothers his method Selective Perception The Bolt Method of Selective Perception is not recognized r by Social Scientist or Epidemiologists as it simply leads nowhere but to the conclusions you want. Is it any wonder Bolt doesn't want math and science as compulsory subjects in our education system?When all is said and done the reality is that Christian Australians are the most significant criminal group in this country and they are of multicultural heritage. To ignore that is to ignore Multiculturalism. "And a word from Vanstone and Ruddock on how they got the Sudanese intake so horribly wrong would be useful."Bolt. To argue otherwise is a reflection of Bolt's racism and the lack of the history of this country .
Yesterday Bolt's little black book of bigotry focused on "seemingly Africans" a whole continent African people his euphemism for "black". Today Bolt he is focusing on 10,000 Sudanese Australia wide which again is wrong because there are 20,000 born here so his figures are wrong for a start. Bolt never actually mentions their cultural differences why? Because probably most are Christian. So Bolt steers away from the issue cultural similarities it doesn't suit his argument as it does when he turns his bigotry on to the Muslim Lebanese.
He doesn't mention the fact that the crime rate among "black" Australian youth is far greater than that for Sudanese kids or that the crime rate for Christians from the pacific Islands is greater when those from NZ are taken into account why? It's because it doesn't suit his assimilationist argument either. They are also very much Christian. The "crime wave" Bolt is speaking of strangely enough seems localized to Melbourne yet Bolt declares it an Australian problem. If there is a problem one it suggests it's one to do with our immigration and social services that's not being provided for the kids in particular areas. The ice plague is rampant in rural towns where youth unemployment is extremely high and it's not among the Africans in these areas. There is a failure in youth services for all kids and not just a group that Bolt has chosen to amplify. Bolt's only real complaint is that those services along with the opposition media, police and welfare services don't see the problem in the same selectively racist terms as he does. It however shows Bolt is a lone wolf complainer with access to a megaphone which shows him to be the vexatious vilifier he's always been.
The problem of youth crime is more complex than he actually makes out and it's across all classes. Drugs, alcohol, violence, have always been seen as a youth problem and regarded as more prolific and policed differently among classes and not just ethnic groups. Social metrics other than cultural differences have played a hand. Bolt simply turns to identity politics rather than the material conditions in which people are expected to live and the differing opportunities available. These social metrics are buried and flushed down the drain as far as Bolt is concerned and are of no consequence when he turns to Culture and Religion as an excuse . All that mattered to him in yesterday's post was they were "seemingly black Africans" today it's more specific. They are guilty because they are Sudanese and black. Even the statistics he pulls out are skewed because more often than not they are a minority of repeat offenders charged with multiple offenses and when bailed are recidivists which doesn't reflect Bolt's argument but the failure of government services. The one and only thing for certain is Bolt is a repeat accuser and people like Kevin Andrews are like Dutton is today blame ready to blame everyone but his department simply to save political face. Kevin Andrews was removed from his portfolio because he became and embarrassment Dutton needs to be removed for the same reason. Trying to blame multiculturalism is denying the failure of successive governments to deal with the class nature of our social problems that are reflected all the way down to our kids and the differing opportunities they they see ahead of them. Bolt's in denial and it showed when he said how relieved he was that his daughter passed VCE and her TER score. Some parents show pride not just relief. It shows he know the differences. Does he think the parents of the two indigenous graduates of medicine this year showed relief? They showed pride and they showed it way way before VCE
Bolt is probably better understood as what he seems to be a permanent whinger with media access and simply a grinch who doesn't want to share his good fortune by providing others with the opportunity he largely inherited through marriage.
