Plenty of trouble for Malcolm Turnbull today. Ray Hadley dumps Treasurer Scott Morrison after four years.  Newspoll confirms a landslide is on. Big swings against Liberals in NSW by-elections. An internal review warns Turnbull not to offend his base. And Tony Abbott says the Turnbull Government must give supporters something to fight for.

Bolt calls forth the usual suspects to call forth the spirit of Tony. 2GB's Hadley. Newspoll, etc  and his Troll Peter BH to do the work.

However has he actually shown that Tony Abbott who was so on the nose has  raised himself to the dizzy heights of "the man" the base of the Liberal Party can't do without and not the minority of ultra conservatives who have spent their time simply trying to wag the dog? Is he  Caesar called back by the faithful ready to be raised on the party's shoulders or is he just what he was when they dumped him a leader who was always in opposition even with his own Party supported  by Rupert Murdoch

 and the IPA? "the former prime minister was a poor negotiator who passed very little through the Upper House during his tenure. And they also took a shot at Mr Abbott for raising taxes on workers whereas the Turnbull government has lowered them."

  The question isn't why is Cat Stevens here but why is Andrew Bolt here such an un - Australian voice such an  un-Asian -Pacific voice such an isolated aloof White Western European voice  given a platform to do nothing more to whinge and complain about Australia? Imagine the conversation with Andrew at an average Australian dinner party what chance of success probably passable because he'd be hiding what he really thought obviously the standout "fake" guest.

 

 

TRUMP'S MISSILES WARN ALL AMERICA'S ENEMIES

Donald Trump had a much bigger target than Syria in mind when he ordered last week’s missile attack on a Syrian air base. The blasts would have been heard very clearly in Moscow, Beijing and Pyongyang - and by anyone else who thought Barack Obama had weakened America for good.

  A Posturing is posturing 59 missiles fired at an air base and Russian and Syrian planes were firing on the same targets the next day. Either the US a incredibly bad shots or this was little more than a con man's primitive bravado put on for domestic show to come back from a collapse in the polls rather  than any strategic reasons in Syria. What it has shown there is a man the equivalent of Kim Jong Un with a red button in hand. 

 

 

 

 

JOHN CLARKE DIES

John Clarke was a terrific satirist, even if I wished he were not so far to the Left. So it's a sad loss that he has now died. He was 68.

DID FOUR CORNERS HELP THESE YOUTHS ESCAPE AND CAUSE MAYHEM?

Four Corners' hopelessly biased report on juvenile detention in the Northern Territory helped make a hero of a youth a long history of violent assaults. It also attacked the use of high-security detention. Now two youths, since kept in low security instead, have escaped, causing a mini crime wave and leaving one fighting for his life.  

  Bolt is trying to sell us the idea that the guards at Don Dale were the true victims in the situation. Despite the facts that revealed the guards themselves were  Don Dales biggest critics telling the Commission just how unqualified they were for their job. Some enjoyed the company of the captured audience of kids shown with remarks like "suck my cock". Bolt attacks the very people he says he's trying to protect why because the cooperated with the inquiry.

 

 

 

MORE GREEN THUGGERY AT WESTPAC BIRTHDAY PARTY

At some stage corporate Australia will have to fight back against the kind of green totalitarians who this time invaded a Westpac birthday party and menaced guests such as Glenda Korporaal. It's either that or let greenshirt thugs make us poorer by confronting reason with violence.

  Thuggery no but yes it was a stunt but it  a minor one in comparison with the 3 biggest banks announcing that they going to conduct a review to their exposure to the coal industry in the wake of the EU's announcement that no more coal plants will be built after 2020 to produce electricity. How big were those stunts in comparison Andrew Bolt?

 

 

MEDIA TREATS BEN MCCORMACK'S TV COLLEAGUES KINDER THAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS

CHANNEL 9’s Ben McCormack has been charged with child porn offences, but the media should now join him in the dock. How come McCormack’s colleagues didn’t know? You see, I remember Nine’s flagship 60 Minutes making Cardinal George Pell seem a liar when he similarly said he’d had no idea a colleague had been molesting children.

A seeming laser informed attack on Australia's media starts  with a  denial that Andrew Bolt knows  actually knows anything. However what starts as an informative promise segues into a fire and brimstone tent preachers attack on the media industry. Apparently the media industry should have if consistent eaten it's own Channel 9 and Ben McCormack. After all look what they did to George Pell.

None of this makes much sense when one is witnessing what's going on at Newscorp and it's Culture at the moment. Roger Ailes was it's George Pell if similes are to make any sense and Rupert the pope. Ailes was guilty and the Media feasted on it as they should have. Now they are continuing the revelation of what the culture of Newscorp is really like. Andrew Bolt's mentor Bill O'Rielly is being revealed for what he is a sexual predator that Newscorp kept secret all these years with everyone aware of what's going on.

Andrew Bolt Australia's wanna be Bill has kept that insider scandal very close to his chest because it's a real indictment on his organization given the numbers involved and the culture within. One sandwich doesn't make a picnic when it comes to Ch 9 but Newscorp is whole lunch given the numbers and people involved in the predatory behavior and it's cover up. Bolt has been totally tight lipped about it. $13 million payoffs for O'Rielly alone are just the beginning. Here we have Bolt playing holier than thou throwing rocks at others pretending he knows nothing about sex in the media when it's in his own house and it's burning. If any comparisons of organization, sexual abuse and closed mindedness are to be made and their revelations it's Newscorp and the Catholic Church. Both are fast losing their financial donors.  Bill O’Reilly Is A Sexual Predator And Fox News Is A Hostile Work Environment. Advertisers Are Fleeing Because That’s A Liability.  

 

WHY NO MEDIA HYPE OF TURNBULL'S "WOMAN PROBLEM"?

Remember all that exaggerated media hype about Tony Abbott's "woman problem" and "gender gap"?  Labor even built a whole (losing) campaign based on the claim that women hated Abbott. Yet there's no mention at all of women also being less likely to vote for Malcolm Turnbull, according to Newspoll.

Blowing up Tony Abbott as the man Australian women want doesn't have the same feeling in reality as knocking Malcolm Down does it.

 

CRIMINAL NOT DEPORTED. RAPES AGAIN

The compassion of the let-them-stay commissars usually comes at the cost of other Australians: "A sadistic criminal with a history of violent offending spanning almost three decades was free to rape a Melbourne woman after a tribunal overturned orders to deport him."

The compassion of the let-then-come politicians and let-them-stay commissars usually comes at the cost of other Australians.

Bolt has moved a step closer to Fascism given he wants all criminals of dual citizenship deported. What is he going to do with the myriad of criminal Aussies that committ vastly more crimes than do immigrants demand they lose their citizenship and be sent to Manus? Individual cases do not make social facts. If that were the case the Dutch wouldn't have been allowed into the country because a number were caught trafficking drugs from the once most notorious drug manufacturing center of Europe. Bolt's family were known to have come from Aalsmeer Holland's most notorious center for Nazi support yet they allowed the Bolt's in why? Bolt has continued what seems a family tradition of bigoted accusation against whole populations of people by the actions of an individual.  He takes and individual crime and correlates it with policies made back in 70's and 80's taking out  any social or historical context. When actually challenged Bolt  escape I never said "all" Lebanese are bad but can we really pick the wheat from the chaff and take the risk our immigrant policies make? We are a multi cultural nation we are not a mono cultural one the risks of crime are not removed as Bolt would have us believe if we were mono cultural. Bolt rails against Identity Politics but plays that card daily.

3) What makes Andrew Bolt dangerous a media inciter of hate and prejudice is he has the platform he has the amplifier and he doesn't share it in any conversation it's why he's a propagandist and one for terrorism which 1.6 billion  Muslims say that it's not Islam. Does Bolt share the the stage with any of them in any way that's not a production line of his bigotry.

4)  Why does Andrew Bolt not get mentioned by by Waleed I'll bet Bolt will tell you Waleed doesn't even have to.

 

CAT STEVENS TREATED AS MAN OF PEACE BUT HIRSI ALI DAMNED

Rowan Dean recalls what Cat Stevens said about Salman Rushie: “He must be killed. The Koran makes it clear. If someone defames the prophet, then he must die.”  Yet: "In a gushing interview two weeks ago about Cat’s 'humanitarian. good deeds, [Waleed] Aly never once mentioned [he'd] demanded a man be murdered for blasphemy." Yet Aly damns Hirsi Ali.

One need only ask which is worse Andrew Bolt calling for the dropping of bombs on unnamed people women children and families in Iraq or Syria and the escalation of such bombings or Yusuf Islam calling for a fatwa on Salman Rushdie for a specific reason over 30 years ago? It seems Bolt is fine with the wholesale slaughter of people and even the specific fatwa on Osama but what Cat Stevens said years ago must haunt him even though he's no longer saying it. 

Ayaan Hirsi being hounded out of Australia is fake publicity. She is a known liar something that Bolt never mentions. Her parents have said she was the Dutch government says she was and those sponsoring her trip to Australia have said they never encountered the threats Bolt and others said they received. In fact they have remained silent on the affair altogether so who is supporting Bolt here? He has the platform he has the mike he has Newscorp and he fails to share that space. 

 

FORMER ABC CHAIRMAN: SELL IT

Former ABC chairman Maurice Newman is correct. There's no reason for us to pay for the ABC and SBS: "With the quality and variety of media so cheap and accessible these days, why do we need two public broadcasters costing almost $1.5 billion annually? Why do we need even one?"

  Why didn't Chairman Newman do something? He appointed Mark Scott twice Bolt never really mentions that but he hated Mark Scott as much as he hated the ABC but he hangs on every word of Chairman Newman. Given Bolt hangs on the words of Cat Stevens some 30 years old he must feel strange about keeping silent when Newman appointed Scott.

 

 

ASYLUM SEEKER BEHIND STOCKHOLM ATTACK

Remember when to even suggest such a possibility would have Prime Minister Kevin Rudd demand your resignation?: "The main suspect in the deadly Stockholm truck rampage is a rejected asylum-seeker and an Islamic State ... sympathizer, according to investigators."

  A rejected asylum seeker known to the Swedish police one of 2million to had entered Europe in the past 3 years and Bolt is creating the thunder.  Proof that immigration is dangerous. A Greek man feeling rejected and misunderstood mowed pedestrians in Melbourne and Bolt do  his anti immigrant rave but had he been a Greek Muslim  the story would have been entirely different.

FAIRFAX JOURNALISTS HAVE NO RIGHT TO DESTROY PAPERS THEY DON'T OWN

Fairfax journalists are entitled to object to their bosses' too-late request that they not be so far to the Left. But they must accept the consequences: that advertisers don't want to pay the money needed to employ them. And don't they feel sorry for the shareholders whose money they're losing and abusing?

Newscorp has lost $280 million and it's largely been put down to print media and the loss of advertising. It's been reported they too are into a round of cuts. Editorial and production staff are about to go and people like Bolt will be required to edit proof and upload their own work. Given the daily faults found in Bolt's we will no doubt see him as an example set for students of just what poor journalism and commentary actually looks like. Bolt claims journalists have no right to detroy papers they don't own then why are the Daily Telegraph, the Herald Sun and the Courier Mail being targeted for  heavy cuts if it wasn't for the loss of revenue. Revenue that Andrew Bolt isn't helping to increase?

Social Welfare is also applied by corporations to it's work force and Bolt is certainly a recipient not an income provider in the Newscorp mix.
