The former Vatican treasurer and Melbourne Archbishop has been found guilty and is set to be jailed for child sexual abuse in the most sensational verdict since the Catholic church became engulfed in worldwide abuse scandals.

He seems to stand very alone in this country of ours and must feel so un-Australian among the majority of us who believe in British Law over the vigilante kind. He seems to be suggesting because Pell got away with it once he should be let off now. Isn't that Trump law?

There is a truth here in Bolt's comment as a denier of climate change. The Liberals are about to spend $2 -3.5 billion on nothing because they aren't you guessed it TONY ABBOTT who today would scrap his own emissions reduction scheme. Now he's back telling us we haven't any global responsibility to the rest of the world that science doesn't know what a total global commitment to turn away from Fossil Fuels will do. Australians stand alone, and the 24 million of us should merely look after ourselves because we have the coal and resources that will make some of us rich and it has to be done as quickly and in the most significant way possible now before those not getting rich wake-up. Bolt wants a coal rush and doesn't want it ending for the few that will benefit. Ye's it's the old me and fuck we mindset. HOPE FOR TURNBULL: WE LIKE HIGHER TAXES

Andrew Bolt is dispirited he believes "the rich" are the driving force of progress and the economy in Australia. They aren't! It's that's the false premise he basis everything on. The rich apart from a few whiz tech heads like Elon Musk aren't entrepreneurs. In the main they have inherited their money and are simply rent collectors who park their money in property, finance and corporates and sit back and do little more. Any fantasy about living in a meritocracy was dead and buried long ago and that funeral was broadcast by Rupert Murdoch himself in the USA when he declared something needed to be done and done fast about the growing inequality or a social democratic upheaval would come in the redistribution and equality. That warning was for Australia as well because until Tony Abbott came onto the scene  the unfairness wasn't so clear as it is today. 

There isn't just a slow drumbeat for social democratic reforms but a demand. A demand  that leaves the real unproductive people with money despondant because they are now the standout welfare recipients that drain us . $65 bill corporate tax cuts go 1) to the bottom line 2) to the share holders 3)  but not to the average Australian family who aren't investors but are the hand to mouth weekly survivors the labourers if lucky in this country. They are the ones  still willing to share the burden of 0.5% increase in Medicare, an increase in education and in welfare because they are in all probability the recipients of that safety net the increasing unemployed and casualised workers. Bolt's heroes live in 4 bedroom houses while he demonizes those who share their households not in Bolt's prized 'nuclear family ' fashion but in over crowded and extended ones if not on the street. All these things Bolt never talks about unless Indigenous of course or Immigrant and then only to blame them for their living condition.

The opposite of pragmatic is an idealist who has an image of his heaven on earth but fucked if he knows how to get there. It's why he's less than 5% of the Australian electorate and standing with his back to the wall calling us all lefties.

With so many allegations against Cardinal George Pell disproved, and police unable after a year to prosecute Pell over shaky claims aired on the ABC, an ABC reporter tries again: "A soon-to-be-released book about Cardinal Pell contains detailed claims that he sexually abused two choirboys at St Patrick's Cathedral." Authorities also put paid on that when they declared there was no evidence to indicate he was radicalized or even a practicing Muslim. I think where there's smoke there's fire and if we ask if Andrew Bolt is a paid bullshitter we will find he's on blaze. As for George there's smoke and while the courts are out public opinion isn't. Andrew Bolt standing next to him is not a good look for Pell.

TRUMP'S MISSILES WARN ALL AMERICA'S ENEMIES

DID FOUR CORNERS HELP THESE YOUTHS ESCAPE AND CAUSE MAYHEM?

Four Corners' hopelessly biased report on juvenile detention in the Northern Territory helped make a hero of a youth a long history of violent assaults. It also attacked the use of high-security detention. Now two youths, since kept in low security instead, have escaped, causing a mini crime wave and leaving one fighting for his life.  

  Bolt is trying to sell us the idea that the guards at Don Dale were the true victims in the situation. Despite the facts that revealed the guards themselves were  Don Dales biggest critics telling the Commission just how unqualified they were for their job. Some enjoyed the company of the captured audience of kids shown with remarks like "suck my cock". Bolt attacks the very people he says he's trying to protect why because the cooperated with the inquiry.

None of this makes much sense when one is witnessing what's going on at Newscorp and it's Culture at the moment. Roger Ailes was it's George Pell if similes are to make any sense and Rupert the pope. If any comparisons of organization, sexual abuse and closed mindedness are to be made and their revelations it's Newscorp and the Catholic Church. Both are fast losing their financial donors.  Bill O’Reilly Is A Sexual Predator And Fox News Is A Hostile Work Environment. Advertisers Are Fleeing Because That’s A Liability.

Remember all that exaggerated media hype about Tony Abbott's "woman problem" and "gender gap"?  Labor even built a whole (losing) campaign based on the claim that women hated Abbott. Yet there's no mention at all of women also being less likely to vote for Malcolm Turnbull, according to Newspoll.

Blowing up Tony Abbott as the man Australian women want doesn't have the same feeling in reality as knocking Malcolm Down does it.

Bolt has continued what seems a family tradition of bigoted accusation against whole populations of people by the actions of an individual.  He takes and individual crime and correlates it with policies made back in 70's and 80's taking out  any social or historical context. When actually challenged Bolt  escape I never said "all" Lebanese are bad but can we really pick the wheat from the chaff and take the risk our immigrant policies make? We are a multi cultural nation we are not a mono cultural one the risks of crime are not removed as Bolt would have us believe if we were mono cultural. Bolt rails against Identity Politics but plays that card daily.

It seems Bolt is fine with the wholesale slaughter of people and even the specific fatwa on Osama but what Cat Stevens said years ago must haunt him even though he's no longer saying it. 

Ayaan Hirsi being hounded out of Australia is fake publicity. She is a known liar something that Bolt never mentions. Her parents have said she was the Dutch government says she was and those sponsoring her trip to Australia have said they never encountered the threats Bolt and others said they received. In fact they have remained silent on the affair altogether so who is supporting Bolt here? He has the platform he has the mike he has Newscorp and he fails to share that space.

Given the daily faults found in Bolt's we will no doubt see him as an example set for students of just what poor journalism and commentary actually looks like. Bolt claims journalists have no right to detroy papers they don't own then why are the Daily Telegraph, the Herald Sun and the Courier Mail being targeted for  heavy cuts if it wasn't for the loss of revenue. Revenue that Andrew Bolt isn't helping to increase?

Social Welfare is also applied by corporations to it's work force and Bolt is certainly a recipient not an income provider in the Newscorp mix.

I wonder whether her family thinks she is one or have they too become conspirators against Pell?  Do her friends and neighbors have an inkling of the ground swell movement on the rise implied by  Bolt's fake banner of a new conspiracy he is in immediate need to head off? Let's have a guess the story is nothing to do about Lucy Morris- Marr at all, it's all about Andrew Bolt. It has nothing to do about George Pell either it's all about Andrew Bolt.  Is it Fake News you be the judge.

The lack of  any true news culture at News Corp is well known globally. News Corp execs and their senior staff like Bolt are ready to step on any real journalists like cockroaches to get attention. To put it mildly Bolt hates University trained journalists and the schools they come from, their philosophy and teaching. They highlight the fact that he hasn't had any and that he's not in the business of news.

Judge Bolt on his history he readily starts a smearing wars  particularly against those who can't reply, even Pell was afforded that right by the Royal Commission and his PR agent Andrew Bolt. Bolt has never had a moments hesitation even maligning Pell's boss Pope  Francis for not being a stand up guy like George. He feels free to smear and mock him and does regularly. That's just the sort of journalist he is. His main line of defense against Marr is the Sgt Shultz response of "I knew nothing" but that simply defines him as the media man he is.
