IT'S THE ISLAM, STUPID

It has been beyond ludicrous to hear politicians and journalists deny that jihadists shouting "Allahu akbar" and quoting the Koran are not religiously motivated. Jonathan Cole is right: "Why is it so hard for the West to accept that the jihadist movement is fundamentally a religious movement? Jihadists are under no such illusion."

JOIN AGL'S DOTS TO HIGHER BILLS

Electricity supplier AGL boasts: "Starting in 2022 and ending by 2050, we are getting out of coal. We already run Australia’s largest solar and wind farms." AGL announces the catch: "AGL's residential customers in NSW will have to pay 16 per cent – or on average $300 – more for electricity in the next financial year." And more in SA.

 

  AGL's transition away from coal doesn't begin until 1922 but until then they are using that dirty stuff. AGL closing of the coal-fired power stations was factored into their accounting when those stations were first built an economic decision made some 25-30 years ago. The hike in pricing has come on the back of opportunistic pricing of gas to Asia and the contracts written. The privatised competition of the energy market and even more the opportunistic politics involved. Imagine Victoria is considering importing gas. Bolt is now crying crocodile tears for the Mining companies who are losing the battle of world opinion not to Green Politics but to the Free Market where Business, Finance and even the majority of politics has now turned to the idea that Clean Energy is, in fact, the world's cheapest and is the only way forward for jobs and economic growth and investment.
Andrew Bolt sounds more of a Socialist calling for the political control and management of the Energy market.

FINKEL SCHEME: REPLACING MAD WITH BAD

The Turnbull Government claims the Finkel report's plan will cut your power bills and end the climate war.  What a joke: how can moving to nearly 50 per cent renewable energy do anything but make electricity a luxury item? Remove Turnbull before he destroys both the power grid and the Liberals.

 Man the Boats and baton the hatches 50% renewables will lose jobs and raise the price of energy in Australia. Germany just reached a figure of 85% energy from renewables why isn't their power grid more expensive than ours? With battery storage  power will be next to nothing. Investment will go through the roof. Finkel is Australia's top scientist. look who Bolt has cobbled together to deny his claims Judith Sloan for News Corp and the IPA's Catallaxy Files and News Corp's David Crowe.

Basically Bolt only claim is "we don't know what we are doing" the claim that science is wasting our time. One thing that stands out is that the Power Producers, AGL,Origin and Eugenie, are all openly telling us they are transitioning away from coal. Business is for the transition and the stock market and Banks show investors do too.  The only ones left standing are the Mining Companies and the extreme Conservatives. Bolt insists that the government step in and change the direction of it's policies to stop the tide of divestment  from dirty energy and increase the regulation on clean. Government intervention for the few and not the many which they deny. Doesn't that make them Socialists a very large step towards a controlled market? Something the have always called Mad and Bad.

MORE IMPORTED RACISM

Why is the Left now embracing the racial divisions it once claimed to despise?: "[There are] people who count themselves "blerds" — that's a portmanteau of black and nerds... Originating in the United States, the concept of the blerd movement is now finding particular resonance with some in the Australian Indigenous community." That's all we need.  

  Bolt who ignores the history even denies the history of Australia and it's white privelige is begging to be treated equally to be charged with affray as was George Colombaris for a simple shove at a football match. If First Australians and the homeless  reacted in the way Andrew Bolt did in Carlton to a glittering  they would have been charged and locked away. They certainly couldn't afford bail let alone the public performance Bolt has been doing for PR's sake to avoid the equality of justice. Yet again News Corp is paying for that time and space the platform normal Australians don't have access to. There is no Reverse Racism in this country imported or otherwise other than the the systemic ideas and tactics Conservatives import to prevent change and any loss of privilege.

Black nerds, Bolt would never acknowledge the fact that a Black Phd could be smarter than him even if they were an Uncle Tom he doesn't  do it for Muslims either so why would anybody expect to do nothing but mock Indigenous Australians.

It wasn't until  the1980's that land rights were recognized and the 60's when equal pay was guaranteed. Two rights his parents had when they stepped off the boat. Aborigines could never raise the collateral for a loan. When savings were once the business off banks and not debt Aborigines were systemically locked out of opportunity and social mobility available to everyone else. Today the business of banks is debt and white men and other groups are becoming like Abrigines of yesteryear week to week survivors locked out of opportunity the living poor. Today poverty is making people more equal and we see it in the white homeless they are becoming more black privileged.
