When it comes to an assessment of what Australians think who we admire and feel should be honored Andrew Bolt always mocks the majority choice. In fact, if awards represent who and what we value as a culture Andrew Bolt distinctly stands out as the guy at the back of the room whining and complaining while the rest of the country celebrates. One thing is for sure we don't pay him much attention and with the tools and technology given him to be heard, he's fast becoming an abject failure. His Boss  Rupert Murdoch isn't faring particularly well in either the UK USA or here if the polls are any indication. His man in Australia's odds are definitely lengthening and time is running out for the Conservatives globally unless they can start a war somewhere. World honors and poll successes go to Corbyn, Marcon, Sanders Comey Merkel & Putin while the standout failures are Trump,  May, Abbott, Wilders, Le Penn

Bolt actually believes clean coal, an oxymoron, is cheaper than renewables. That Australia would be better off if science was merely voluntary and that politics, business and finance were the true driving force free to promote coal. Meanwhile Trump's plan for coal expansion in the USA seems to be taking a hit from California and other states that are  turning the backs on him and signing clean enery pacts  with the EU and each other independently. Trade and investment agreements with Germany and emissions target. 
Australia with pants down is waiting for the mining companies to order us to bend over so they can get on with the job of digging holes in the ground and shifting the profits off sure.
