On Thursday the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal ― a crown jewel in the media empire of Rupert Murdoch, a close Trump ally — went after Mueller as well. It wrote that the dossier news raises the question of whether the document helped fuel the FBI’s probe into Trump’s campaign. Since the dossier attributes allegations to “Kremlin-connected sources,” the board argues that would mean the FBI could have been essentially acting on “disinformation” provided by Russia. And if there were a need to investigate the FBI’s actions, that would make Mueller’s FBI ties a major conflict of interest.

There is something quite hypocritical and unprincipled in Bolt's attacks on GetUp as an associate of the of the ALP and the Greens gave NewsCorp's relationship with the Conservatives in the Liberal Party. The Alfalfa club incident a clear breach of AEC rules. Murdoch specifically invited Tony Abbott to a $200 lunch as his guest and not as presented. The purpose being a photo shoot to boost Abbott in the Daily Telegraph. The misfortune for both of them as they got busted in what was to be a lie for Abbott.
ANDREW HASTIE FOR PM?
"Andrew Hastie for PM?," I asked my radio audience, fully aware he's just 35 with limited political experience. Every caller said yes. Now Piers Akerman: "When Shorten was stitching up his union members in dodgy deals, Hastie was stitching up murderous jihadists... The electorate is ready for that showdown and I have no doubt who would win."

PEOPLE POWER PLUS FREE SPEECH: I'M LOVING HOW WOMEN ARE BRINGING DOWN THE BULLIES
I may love this witch hunt against sex predators like Harvey Weinstein more than I should. I love that some media stars here must name-check themselves on Google every day, freaking they’ll be outed next. It’s fun to see bullies get paid back by the very people they once thought weak. And they're brought down without the help of some commissar.
Andrew Bolt is such a liar he loved remaining silent when all those Conservative celebrities and power brokers at News Corp's Fox News were outed after years of protection at Fox News. $32 million settlements plus to protect the likes of Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly kept that silence intact. These conservatives or Republicans didn't sack them immediately as did the Democrats who turned their backs on Weinstein immediately. Let's face it Bolt has steered clear of the 24 women who have come out against Trump. No Murdoch and News Corp Culture has kept his stable of sexual molesters and workplace aggressors well provided for and protected. People like Bolt and Panahi are their enablers with their silence and humor used to brush accusations away. They call themselves principled to boot. What's your principle Bolt?
WANTING SO MUCH TO BELIEVE
Peta Credlin: "So much for Malcolm Turnbull’s declaration ... that the High Court 'will find' that Barnaby Joyce was entitled to sit in the Parliament, despite inheriting New Zealand citizenship. I’m told George Brandis isn’t to be blamed for overstating the legal case..., that it was the PM who decided a bullish attack was the best defense."
Bolt's link is Peta Credlin and The Herald Sun the associated service for the Ultra Conservatives within the LNP. They hate Turnbull and the moderates even more than the ALP. Every court case has lawyers with differing opinions winners and losers and that's the nature of adversarial law. So what Bolt is simply doing is stating the obvious. He's been declaring the judges that convicted him were wrong and declares he's entitled to do that. However, Malcolm Turnbull can't. Tony Abbott could make a fool of himself and be assured of the protection of Bolt and News Corp. Again when it comes to principles Bolt has none he simply looks for what best for the team. The post above is simply another example of this one. Silence on Abbott and bluster on Turnbull
CLOWNS TO THE LEFT OF US, JOKERS TO THE RIGHT: STUCK WITH SHORTEN AND TURNBULL
Column Clowns to the left of us, jokers to the right. And here we are, voters, stuck in the middle with only Malcolm Turnbull and Bill Shorten to choose from. So is Prime Minister Turnbull the joker or the clown? Hard to tell, but because the Liberals stick with this bumbling disaster, we'll get stuck with Shorten.
