Bolt's Blog not only advocates conservative, right wing and Tea Party views it moderates out most opposing opinions which he is entitled to do. However Andrew Bolt simply lies when he says he provides an arena for fair and balanced discussion in a no spin zone. He doesn't it's all spin.

Western Sydney might have voted "no", but multicultural Australia voted "yes". An analysis of electorates where more than 40 per cent of the population was born overseas shows they overwhelmingly backed same-sex marriage outside the Western Sydney ring.

We spoke to supporters of same-sex marriage at the announcement of the marriage survey results to see how they felt about the win for the YES campaign. From Moreton in Queensland through Reid in NSW to Gellibrand in Victoria, a clear majority of electorates with large Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese and Arabic-speaking communities got behind the move to change the definition of marriage.

One asks why Bolt is such a pretentious aesthete but Neanderthal when it comes to social justice. I guess Nazis stole and kept the art collections of Jews even when the subjects of the art were Jewish. Style manages to camouflage meaning at times and it's why Bolt is into the finer things of life in order to hide his brutish nature. What you see is not what you get in the case of Andrew Bolt.

Let's note if Bolt is so confident of his smear of Keneally why does he need to qualify it. It seems he's not particularly confident of his own opinion. He certainly has no effect in or it seems regard for the Liberal Party. So is he for or against her. One would never know.
Why has Bolt even bothered to to raise the issue if it's little more than a nudge nudge wink wink moment. He'd certainly spend more time on it if it had raised Tim Blair's interest.
I have always said Bolt has more in common with radicalized Islamists than he has with ordinary Australian citizens.
1) He belongs to a minority of Australians who don't believe in the separation of powers but believes in the Christian version of Sharia Law to be practiced in Australia and he and Tony Abbott have made that clear. Our laws need to represent Judeo Christian Culture and not any other or godless one. Social justice is put aside.
2) Given this position they don't believe in the making of marriage laws equal for everyone.
3) Bolt accuses Cate McGregor "But her column yesterday
is unforgivably vicious. Abbott would never write of McGregor with the
jeering meannness she has of him, and that says a lot about both."Bolt
However that's BS Abbott has volubly said Christine Forster his sister couldn't possibly make a 'good' mother for her six children because of her lesbian relationship and family. So much so he even offended his daughter Frances by his remarks who spoke publicly against her father. His was not only statement of principle in a public debate but it was individual and personally and offensive to his sister. She showed greater generosity than her brother than he did to her.
4) Bolt's cry of "foul" against McGregor is rather hypocritical and a bit of selective and postured outrage on another level. He agreed with Canavan for those complaining when he told them to "get a Spine" With statements like Abbott's about his sister it's no wonder Cate McGregor responded to this hypocrisy. Because it amplified the disengenous nature of Abbott's hand of very qualified Christian friendship. It certainly wasn't a hand of someone who believed their frienship was on an equal base.
Abbott and Bolt show their true colors when they declare Cate, Tim Wilson and others as friends. Well Bolt do what you have said 'get a spine' It seems you can deliver harsh words but call foul when they rebound back.It's pretty pathetic isn't it.
5) Bolt's ignorance looms large when he tries to tell us of a 2000 year debate among Christians. Firstly marriage was ritual established by the wealthy to transfer property between families. It was an fashion copied by the poor but wasn't one of importance. That Abbott is so" humble " his history and record show the very opposite. That alt- right has no substance that they dont exist but 'cultural Marxists do. That Abbott has huge support across the Liberal Party when only 900 of 80,000 Liberals turn out to listen to him mostly the media. How is it he still doesn't have the numbers?
6) The very idea Australia was overjoyed because Abbott forced this psuedo vote on us and that democracy was somehow saved beggars belief.This vote was never wanted. As for the "no" vote being a united force that's also BS the 40% vote consisted of Australians that Bolt wouldn't walk on the same side of the street with. Australians that do believe in the separation of powers. Muslims Chinese and Indians
7) " nasty and without an ounce of the charity that Abbott would have extended to McGregor had his own side won this vote:"Bolt I simply refer back to Frances's Abbott defense of her aunt against what her father said which his daughter saw as uncharitable to the core and so spoke up.
Given we only generally get an editorialized rose tinted glimpse of Abbott from News Corp as we do here we are lucky to know of his documented history of blunders, abuse of women and opponents like Hanson and Slipper who he also once called friends. The man has shown himself to be a historical thug and not the 'cherub' Bolt is making him out to be. The sound of a propagandist here matches Murdoch's attempts to make Abbott look like a statesman in their attempted bungled hoax at the Alfalfa Club in the USA which Bolt never mentions.
8) Victim-hood doesn't fit Bolt or Abbott like the term bully does. It's the glove we have seen worn by Abbott since he first entered politics as a student when he was 18. Arrogance and aloofness is the description worn by Bolt since he was a kid along with his admission while born here he has never entirely felt Australian. Its why he treasures his dual citizenship but readily accuses others of theirs
This whole post yet again is an attempt to ignore Abbott's past and somehow present him as a polished turd.
3h Being gay was a crime if one considers profiled and persecuted they were by vigilante justice so much so they were murdered simply because they were suspected of being gay. Bolt's pedantic attempt to deny it proves just that. Deflection of facts by simply correcting Onselen's language doesn't make Bolt anymore intelligent, accurate or empathetic to the reality of the subject. It simply shows he doesn't know how to to address it. Bolt's language is just as error filled as Onselen's but real commentators ignore it unlike Bolt criticizing English errors for a glass house. Written evidence doesn't exist of the persecution done to stolen children or any Institutional harm done to gays but verbal history tells us otherwise and tells us not to just look at the record. Bolt's same old same old argument that if there's no real recorded evidence that priests molested children on record it didn't happen. Or even the priests are the real victims of false accusations. The Dutch actually tried to use that excuse post WW2 that they weren't anti-Semitic they were heroes and protectors of Jews during WW2. It took until the 1980s for the Jews to convince the world otherwise and have history rewritten. Meantime a false history was taught to the Dutch children unlike the truth taught in German schools Bolt is the constant denier and apologist for any oppressive conservative side of Australian history.
