CHINA'S HAND IN COUP AGAINST MUGABE. WHERE'S THE LEFT?

An army coup has toppled Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe, and that's good. But the army chief first went to China to talk to its defense boss, and that suggests just how tight China's control over Zimbabwe now is. But where's the Left protesting against this interference, like they would if this were the CIA? My editorial from The Bolt Report.

Bolt is the Conservative  Revivalist preacher in the Church of Rupert demanding a tithe to join. Like a drunken sailor, he swings from side to side devoid of principles just a sound byte to be heard and paid for.. Maybe he's more like an elder in the in the Church of Scientology. He's certainly in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Selling paranoia if you do or don't listen to his message.

The long-term friendship between China and Zimbabwe will transcend the internal disturbances in Zimbabwe. If Zimbabwe can handle the crisis well and maintain national stability, it will fit the interests of the nation and Africa. The Chinese public would like to see peace in that distant but friendly country."
The very question where is the Left in Africa is one that Che Guevarra asked when he went there and returned to Latin America. Africa was a continent of  Right wing Generals and carpet baggers and China it's only hope.
The same can't be said of Zimbabwe's relationship with a Western embargo on Mugabe. Like Cuba, it can't be said that the US or the West has had a positive influence in this third world full of mercenaries ready and waiting for the offers from the highest bidders. Margret Thatcher's son just one example.
 The US and the West are well known for its covert military presence in Africa not in any beneficial way but simply as a military force for hire to prop up or overthrow autocratic regimes ready with the best resources deal.
 We saw the American imperialism in Latin America.Africa was treated by the West in even worse fashion and here we have Bolt daring to call out China as being suspicious rather than entirely different. Let it be said that China's involvement in building up the infrastructure of African Nations and the continent quite unlike that of America's and the west's colonial approach of impoverishment. For one where are the Chinese military bases that invite Bolt's suspicion? Where in fact are the Chinese military basis around the world like America's 150 that seems to comfort Bolt while feeding his paranoia? I doubt Bolt can actually point to any. In factBolt's question where's the Left makes no sense given that China is Zimbabwe's largest investor and trading partner. China isn't just an extractor but an investor in agriculture and infrastructure ready to deal with all sides of Zimbabwean politics, not just one. While the US well they still wield the big stick and have the largest trade embargo on the country. I'd say Zimbabweans have a positive attitude to China wouldn't you for good reason. It's significantly different approach to the past models of help

$60 MILLION FOR EACH SOLAR JOB

The Queensland Premier, Annastacia Palasczcuk, was promoting green energy at the Clare Solar Farm. Resources Minister Matt Canavan calculates the astonishing waste: "The Clare Solar Farm stands to get something like $340 million in subsidies over the next 13 years  for 5 jobs! That works out at $60 million a job."

Why has Bolt left 2 major omissions out of this post which seems totally false?
1) The Adani project will not produce 10,000 jobs and that has been proved by more than one set of evaluations
2) The Turnbull government has just declared that all subsidies to renewable would be stopped as of 2020
3) Is Canavan the only Adani supporter in tune with this myth?
4) How is it he's trying to sell Adani's state of the art Coal -Fired $5 billion plant in India which is for sale at the bargain basement price of 2 cents? Canavan could encourage  Australians to value add to our wonderful fossil fuel that's profitable that nobody is interested in using including Adani himself.
5) Adani it seems is investing in renewables and transitioning up instead of down.
Given these are just 2 of the fake News put out by Canavan what else can be declared as BS. Does Canavan consider the Saudis are simply reckless with their investments and opt for those around
 the world that are simply based on the whims of political decisions?

Remember when Bolt was declaring Don Dale as the state of the art facility for youth detention and the only victims in the facility were the guards. Bolt fought so hard for what he regarded as an over funded model prison .
