In truth, the move by Dutton is more about ambition and payback on Turnbull than shoring up the conservative base, with polling consistently showing that the punters don’t hate Turnbull – they just hate the instability of the Liberal Party… i.e. they don’t like Tony Abbott, or his brand of wrecking politics.
Had Abbott had left politics gracefully, it’s entirely possible Turnbull could have enjoyed a Howard-esque like domination of Australian politics, such was his broad appeal when he first took the reigns.
Instead, Abbott stuck around and sniped, and wrecked, and plotted and schemed. And Peter Dutton is now poised to exact Abbott’s revenge, and pave the former PM’s way for a return to the front bench.

 

IF GREINER CAN'T UNITE, GET OUT

Gee, this uniting under Scott Morrison is going well. Not: "Liberal Party federal president Nick Greiner says Tony Abbott is 'part of the blame' for the government’s instability." Greiner was ineffective under Turnbull and is now counter-productive under Morrison. Best that he now quit and let a healer take over.

Whack-a-Mole Bolt can't find anything to do. He has no place in media commentary other than an opinion but opinions are like arseholes everyone has got one. His predictions never seem to hit the mark, do they? He really can't boost Abbott as nobody is listening and haven't been for a very long time. So, yes the paranoia is rife and anyone with a grin or Mona Lisa smirk is now the target, an enemy of Tony's. Victimhood will yet again be this man's order of the day coupled with a good dose of verbal spit and bile.

 

ABC: JULIE BISHOP TO QUIT

The ABC is reporting that Julie Bishop will today announce she is qutting politics. The long-time deputy prime minister got just 11 votes in the leadership ballot, and lost her entire base in Western Australia. The media will mourn, but Bishop was a broken figure in the party.

As I said spit and bile are all Bolt can drum up but then it's that misogyny of his and women in the Liberal Party. He, in fact, amplifies and trumpets it. Bishop's 20 years of service to the Liberal Party is non-existent in his attitude to her or the 13 other women who defeated his Monkey Pod crew. 
" One Liberal figure said the Foreign Minister had been "treated like sh-t" by conservatives and many moderates." However normal practice for the LNP.

 

'MODERATE' MORRISON

It is fascinating to see the Left hail the victory of Scott Morrison in the battle to lead the Liberals, and jeer at the "defeat" of conservatives. Pardon? Morrison is actually a Pentecostal Christian who stopped the boats, argued for tax cuts to big business and opposed same-sex marriage.

You have to laugh we have Bolt now trying to convince us Morrisson is actually a Conservative when he is but a hated one because he supported Turnbull over Abbott and that says it all. It won't be long before Bolt begins to call him Abbott's sock puppet again. 
Bovver boys are all the same even when they lose they won't admit it. What it shows is just how far Turnbull actually went in trying to accommodate the extreme conservative right of the Party only to be faced with Abbott's nope nope nope revenge campaign.
Bolt now wants to maintain the battle has been won and Abbott is ready to capitulate and join the Party. That means Bolt has to reset his attitude to Morrison. Who in their right mind could believe him with all this yo-yo-ing about? Whatever, you can rely on Bolt to be a weathercock never there for principle just a side. Simply said he will continue to either boost or bludgeon, disguised in the uniform team only. 
Proof Bolt's hate for ScoMo defies his logic and is purely personal.
 

 

PARDON US CRITICS FOR NOTICING TURNBULL'S FAILURES

In fact, that third factor - seized on by Turnbull and his supporters - is just the inevitable consequence to the first two . It is not a cause but a consequence.

The cause or the consequence, the chicken or the egg, Abbott rolled Turnbull to become opposition leader by 1 vote and we suffered as a consequence and have been to this day. In this case Chicken Little alarmist denier and fearmonger, Tony Abbott laid the egg. His history of achievements versus the many eggs laid speaks for itself. Would Bolt dare accept a poll on Abbott's status today or any other human quality that Bolt claims he has for that matter?
The fact is:
 Although the left will never admit it, Malcolm Turnbull’s greatest achievement was to stand up to the extreme right in his own party. Firstly by deposing Abbott as PM. Secondly by withstanding the constant barrage of attack from the extreme right. No PM has been more hated by the extreme right since Whitlam than Malcolm Turnbull. Just look at the unrelenting attacks in the media by their spokespeople Andrew Bolt and Janet Albrechtsen. And thirdly by stepping aside in the leadership contest to ensure Dutton was thwarted.

MORRISON DIVIDES THE CONSERVATIVES - BUT LEAVES THEM STRONGER

Scott Morrison today divided and conquered the conservatives in choosing a new ministry. He snubbed Tony Abbott, sacked Michael Sukkar and took immigration off Peter Dutton. But then he put other conservatives in charge of the issues Abbott and Dutton campaigned on: immigration, electricity and education. Conservatives rule, even if Abbott doesn't.

So Bolt is now admitting getting rid of Turnbull was a simple act of revenge flipping and now praising Morrisson as some kind of Conservative masterspy. Wow, Bolt's jumped left but saying Morrison jumped right when he has stayed put and so has Tony Abbott on the backbench.

Coal-fired energy plants.... Don't think so. Banning Muslim and African Immigration.....don't think so. 


There were 8-10 core conservatives in the Liberal Party but somehow Bolt expects us to believe the weak-willed moderates that voted for Dutton were all conservatives too.  Those fantasy numbers were fantasy numbers back then and are again numbers from La La Land. 
 Is Morrisson the Brutus going to be forgiven by Bolt? Morrison's forgiven Hunt and Chiobo. Bolt has always said he'd only praise Morrison when hell froze over. Guess those on the ultra-Right of the Party have made a leap to the left again and hell has frozen over. 
Dutton's career will be lucky to last till the next election. How many of the other old school will stay on? Corman will never be the same again will work to redeem himself. No won't see any government coal-fired power stations. Federal finance won't blackmail Victoria and identity politics and racism of the Bolt and Dutton kind might just fade back into the background a little given Morrison's enthusiasm for Howard's attitude to immigration. Dutton's might as hard as it's to believe shut up. John Howard has little respect for Bolt's racist, ethnocentric, media hate and divide show and thinks it should be countered at every step because guess what it's not Australian.
