 Andrew Bolt, twist of language turns "feeling " into "pretending" and is an intentional misuse of what actually occurs. Was Andrew Bolt "pretending" to be Dutch for over 30 years and not Australian until he got married? His admission, not my accusation. He only first stepped foot in the Netherlands when he was 19. So was he "pretending" or was he genuine in his "feelings"?

If one accepts and respects the fact that this country was inhabited by Indigenous Australians for 40,000 years prior to the colonization by white men it seems more than fair and reasonable for some people white black or brindle to say they "feel" more indigenous or Australia than they do European or White Australian and say it without any pretense as Bolt once said he didn't.  The only reason Bolt calls it "pretense" is color and racial and it's what makes him an outright racist because "color matters" to him. 

He ignores the fact that Australia is far older than when the first boats arrived and Australia was invaded and colonized by whites and the dregs of what the British wanted to rid themselves of. Yet, he demands of others what he admits "he didn't feel" being either Australian or a White Australian for 35 years. For Bolt if you live here you need to assimilate but to assimilate for him is to feel White Christian European and hold Western values, but not just Australian because that would entail a pretense, of  being woke, and accepting that Black Lives Matter and are an essential part of 'being an Aussie". It seems "feeling" Indigenous, black, Australian might in fact be "feeling human" and closer to the truth of this multicultural nation.

 Amazing. Now there's even a play about white people pretending to be black, and the woke Sydney Morning Herald praises it. What a change from the days when it joined the pack attack on me for writing about this astonishing race-shifting. Read on.

After he jumped ship to join its main rival, Tourism Council Australia run by Bruce Baird, the TTF was unimpressed and changed its employment contracts to prevent others from “doing a Morrison”. From there, Morrison moved on to the Office of Tourism and Sport in New Zealand. Within weeks, the tourism board’s three most senior figures — the chair, the deputy chair and the chief executive — were gone. “I suspect it was just about power,” said board member Gerry McSweeney. “You had the meeting of two people [Morrison and Tourism Minister Mike McCully] who were very ambitious.” The Auditor-General was scathing about Morrison’s role in commissioning PwC to conduct a secret review of the board and then recommending they be sacked. “We were surprised by the vehemence and timing of this advice,” the auditor-general commented. “Mr Morrison was aware that the board’s directors (including the chairperson) had deliberately been excluded from the review process, as part of the terms of reference.” When interviewed last year, McSweeney said of Morrison, “Picking off soft targets, seems to have been a career projection of your PM.”

I believe Michelle is being too generous in her description on the current state and mindset of our mainstream media. Their investment and profit moving forward depends on that long term quid pro quo relationship with the Big Swinging Dicks LNP Club in Canberra. Every election fought since Howard lost has been a battle with one arm behind their backs against a spearhead of indirect donor wealth, undeclared corporate support, the IPA. their MSM media message and usually a more than dimwitted L-NP leader. Tony Abbott my example who was what he was a student brawler all his political life backed by a back office much the same mindset. Morrison on the other hand is more the huckster the ad man who believes he can soft sell anything and anyone if he leads from behind. It only takes a small swing where "style is meaning" in McCluhan's "media cool" enviroment. Where the MSM won't give Albo elbow room.

When the Big Swinging Dicks Club starts to turn against you, is your time at the helm numbered? And when you’ve burned so many bridges, what cushy roles will be offered once you’re ejected? So many highlights from the execrable performance of Prime Minister (still!) Scott Morrison at the National Press Club today:

- admitting he doesn’t know the price of household items like “a loaf of milk”

-admitting that relentless disasters have befallen this country under his party’s leadership but insisting that voting him out would mean Australians were just “giving up”

- being very proud of himself for having met an apprentice once

- a truly terrifying insistence that there is way too much independent research still going on at Australia’s battered universities, that he’s planning to hand even more of this taxpayer-funded resource to unaccountable multinational corporations

- lots of meaningless numbers strung together with the claim this meant Australia was thriving (not feeling it myself, really)

- praising the overworked aged care workers he won’t give an actual pay rise to

- the claim that he works for the Australian people every day (bonjour, Hawaii!)

 

… and on and on it went, in that sweaty, aggressive tone he uses to communicate we are not a nation of adults but a Sunday school classroom of misbehaving children.

Amidst all these precious jewels, the absolute hands-down thumper, however, was learning what his Liberal Party colleagues Gladys Berejiklian and an Unnamed Current Cabinet Minister (!) really think of him.

I’ve never thought I had much in common with any members of the Morrison cabinet or the former premier of New South Wales, but count me in for the unity ticket on this one.

“Toxic Femininity?” Guess whose back the standard-bearer of “polluted masculinity. The self-proclaimed role model for males. An ageist, adult who claims to lead the way on manners and how we all should present ourselves in public.

Andrew Bolt who’d prefer to live in the Netherlands even though born here tells us how we should respect Australia Day.  The braggart who once crowed he worked as a ” belly dancer’s minder”. It turned out she was his fiancee and minder supporting him when he was unemployed. A fact, but his ego so big, he kept it  hidden from his wife and family. Yes, even when the truth came out he claimed he was Sir Galahad and was “protecting his wife Sally”?

When challenged by his latter-day ex to tell the “truth”  the little prick doing a Walter Mitty to enlarge himself in the eyes of his public called her the liar. A step too far, and when challenged with court action the troll folded like a cheap suit. He was forced to admit he was the ill-mannered, lout, cad, douchebag and was everything she said he was, the low-life and toxic male.

Bolt will be replaced but very quickly forgotten by history while Grace Tame won’t. Her photo with Morrison is the kill-shot that will be remembered for years to come and discussed. The shot that will be talked about in the history classes of the future long after the suit-wearing tent preacher behind the desk, Andrew Bolt, seen on Murdoch’s Sky News is forgotten.

Australian of  the Year Dylan Alcott also had a lot to criticize Morrison for and stands shoulder to shoulder with Grace on so many things but Bolt ignores him.

I never expected class from Grace Tame. She was too young and thoughtless to handle being Australian of the Year. No, the real problem with her pathetic rudeness to Scott Morrison is that it was cheered by so many people – especially women. Time we talked about toxic femininity.

We hear so much about “toxic masculinity”. After Grace Tame’s tantrum on Tuesday, dare we finally ask if there’s also a “toxic femininity”?

I’ve seen toddlers with better manners than Tame showed Prime Minister Scott Morrison at an event to mark the end of her term as Australian of the Year.

She glowered at him. She pulled faces. She returned his politeness – and that of wife Jenny – with a contempt meant to be seen from the moon.

Pathetic, yet many people actually praised her rudeness.

Bruce certainly pays no attention to screaming white nationalist banshee Andrew Bolt. 

 When Indigenous Australians claim our history is a continuous 46,000 years they are being inclusive. Bolt with his Colonial mindset tries to remind us that Australia is only really 225 years old and day one white day 26/1/1788 was the begining of time. Hold the thought because it's coming from Andrew Bolt who born here would prefer to live in Amsterdam and who maintains he's really Dutch because he "feels" Dutch. He's even a generous white man because he once had an Aboriginal friend. That statement alone shows he sees first nation peoples as exclusive Australians. He certainly made that clear with his ignorant attack and treatment of Adam Goodes.

 Bruce Pascoe on the other hand is proud of being included in the very long history of this continent. He "feels" indigenous"and definitely a proud Australian prepared to fix the wrongs of the past. Bolt should be ashamed of declaring he's white because the majority of Australians the younger generation are.
