BINDI CHANGES MIND, BINDI GETS BANNED
VIDEO: BINDI'S, MINE Artist Bindi Cole Chocka was one of nine people identifying as Aboriginal who took me to the Federal Court for saying they also had other choices - they could identify as white, both or nothing, race irrelevant. The judge said I wrong but Bindi now says she was. Guess what? She's now been banned by an art gallery. We talked on The Bolt Report.
JUDGE NOTES MEDIA PRESSURE TO CONVICT PRIESTS
A disturbing observation from the judge who quashed a conviction against former Catholic bishop Philip Wilson for covering up child sex abuse by a priest 42 years ago: "The mere presence of large amounts of media from all around Australia and the world carries with it a certain amount of pressure on the court." A pressure to convict, he says.
CLIMATE PARTY! AFRICAN DELEGATES SWAMP CONFERENCE
It's a feeding frenzy at the UN climate conference. There's the excuse for taxpayer-paid travel, of course, and the excuse to extort huge donations from the guilty rich: "An analysis of delegates... found Guinea topped the list with 406 delegates... The Democratic Republic of Congo is second, with 237. Ivory Coast... has 208." We have 30.
WHO YOU GONNA BELIEVE? A SCIENTIST?
SCAREMONGERS Judith Curry, top climate scientist: "The appropriate range of sea level rise scenarios to consider for 2100 is 0.2–1.6m. Values exceeding 2 feet are increasingly weakly justified." Kellie Edwards on the ABC': "I’ve got a 10-year-old... She’s going to live to a hundred. By that stage we’re looking at... sea level rises perhaps... 50 metres?"
'NOT FRIGHTENING,' SAYS ABC'S GREEN AS GANGS ATTACK OTHERS
ABC host Jonathan Green smirks after Victorians re-elect Labor: "Funny how it’s no longer quite so frightening to live in Melbourne. What a difference a week makes."
