Why are our politicians so bad Peter Dutton is the perfect example and damns himself with his own words. Regarded as the worst Minister for Health and now the worst for Immigration. Dutton offers no insight into his job other than it's a job to keep at all costs even if it damages the nation.
No mention of a duty to his electorate or to the people of Australia to do service for which he's being paid for. This Liberal lead government has since being elected in 2013 passed the least number of bills since John Gortan some 60 years ago. Yet it is one of the highest paid globally and is meant to lead a nation of only 24 million people. Julia Gillard broke records when it came to the number of bills passed while PM of a minority government.
The fact is Turnbull was left leading a government with political genius Boomgate Dutton laughing with Tony Abbott while a red-faced sheepish Morrison was trying to tell them to SHUT UP. Now that's Dutton's political nous for you. (ODT)
"Malcolm is charming and affable but he doesn't have a political bone in his body and it's not a criticism, but without political judgment you can't survive in politics and he didn't."
Peter Dutton says Malcolm Turnbull doesn't have a political bone in his body
Inside Australia's terror threats.
What never seems mentioned is the research that indicates that more mass or multiple killings have occurred by those not deemed terrorist. Terrorism, it seems, is a category devoted to murders by Muslims whether organized or not. Further research however shows the murders are increasingly lone wolf, committed by people on drugs and with poor histories of mental health factors that in fact have been known but ignored when it comes to defining some acts as terrorist.
The categorizing of terrorism in a way that seems to be exclusively Muslim merely raises the fact that in a world politicians declare is post racist and where differences aren't division but cultural diversity the LNP since John Howard have been duplcitous. They have used race, religion and ethnicity to promote division rather than celebrate our diversity. In Australia they have in fact only paid lip service to a multiracial and cultural Australia while promoting division among us. It was Scott Morrison who after the Crunulla riots took it to the Liberal Party as a political tactic that advanced the Party but not the nation. Currently Peter Dutton is doing the same now putting politics before service. (ODT)
One world-weary father whose son was caught in the middle of such an event where police used capsicum spray to disperse the crowds suggested it was a graphic illustration of how the world had changed: ‘‘I grew up listening to Sergeant Pepper’s - he grew up being pepper-sprayed by a sergeant.’’
